These Chaldean Christians experienced Islam up close in Iraq. The government should be listening to their concerns, not displaying favoritism toward Muslims. The Sessions Justice Department should put a stop to this forthwith. Why hasn’t it done so already?

A newly-filed federal lawsuit on behalf of residents in Sterling Heights, Michigan, is the latest chapter in a fight over the proposed construction of a mosque in a residential area of the suburban Detroit city.
The lawsuit comes three weeks after the city of Sterling Heights settled two lawsuits – one levied by the US Department of Justice – that challenged the city’s rejection of a new mosque.
The suing residents, which include a group of Chaldean Christians and a city planning commissioner, said in the lawsuit that the city ignored their objections over the mosque’s construction proposal while acting with favoritism toward Muslims, the Detroit News reported. Plaintiffs said a major issue centers around zoning restrictions in the residential neighborhood where the American Islamic Community Center (AICC) plans to build its 20,500-square-foot mosque. The plaintiffs claim religion is not their reason for the lawsuit.
“Very few people watching tonight would want a giant 60 feet mosque plopped down across the street in this residential neighborhood,” the plaintiffs’ attorney, Robert Muise, told WJBK.
The lawsuit’s language, however, denounces Sterling Heights city officials for apparent favoritism toward Muslims.
“A reasonable observer would conclude that this favors the adherents of Islam over those who are not adherents of Islam,” the lawsuit states.
The new suit, filed by the American Freedom Law Center, comes in response to a February 21 decision by city officials to settle two lawsuits that challenged the city’s September 2015 decision to deny a special approval land use application for the mosque.
In August 2016, AICC sued the city over the denial, calling the rejection unconstitutional, while the US Department of Justice added its own lawsuit against the city in December. Both federal lawsuits alleged that the city violated the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act, a federal law designed to shield religious institutions or individuals from discrimination in zoning law. The Justice Department suit challenged “unnecessary burdens” on the mosque’s construction.
The settlement aimed to resolve issues related to parking, traffic congestion and the size of the mosque, according to reports. The federal consent decree the city entered into means mosque construction could begin as soon as this summer.
Opponents of the mosque’s construction, however, have said the city ignored their concerns, especially during the city council meeting that involved consideration of the settlement. Plaintiffs in the new lawsuit said the city’s mayor, Michael Taylor, restricted their public comments during the meeting and cleared the room for a vote on the settlement.
“The actions of the city, through its mayor, directly censored speech or had a chilling effect on speech…,” the lawsuit states….
“The fact that other private citizens might make public comments can’t be attributable to the government, that is their right to free speech,” Muise said, according to WJBK. “I know people want to shut down any criticism of Islam at these public meetings but you can’t do that under the First Amendment.”

These poor fools forgot that in america we have a thing called the CONSTITUTION…..which provides immunity to the true faith of islam. Leftists and muslims use it all the time, to defend and spread islam.
Never stop defending the constitution! And never, ever let anyone change the constitution in any manner. The hundreds of years old constitution must remain valid for all times – For eternity. Just like we believe that quran is valid for all times and must not be changed – Non-muslims should believe that their constitution is valid for all times, and must not be changed. Inshallah, islam will conquer the west because of its brilliant laws and great constitution.

You will notice that every islamic country is dependant on charity from non muslim countries. As islam expands it consumes everything around it. The result is starvation and disease. Todays world is different from the time of mutgonad, police beat upon him, as islam destroys its benefactors, it destroys itself. It is the duty of a Muslim to give food to the poor and to offer the one who asks for something. However, begging, which impairs human honor and virtue, shatters personality and leads to the exploitation of benevolent people’s pure feelings, is regarded as an ugly act.
The Prophet stated that it is permitted to ask for something for only three categories of people. They are as follows: the people who are indebted because of acting as a guarantor for a person or a community and cannot pay their debts; people all of whose property was destroyed in a disaster; and people who became destitute and whose poverty is acknowledged by people who know them. It is not regarded permissible for people other than those who have a day’s food and the strength to work for livelihood to beg. (Muslim, Zakat, 109)
The Prophet, peace and blessings upon him, regarded begging which is taken as an occupation as disgrace and said:
“Some among you do not ever abandon begging. Finally, on the Day of Resurrection, that dishonorable person will meet Allah with no flesh left on his face.” (Muslim, Zakat, 103)
“Whoever continues to beg people for their property in order to accumulate much property, surely asks for a piece of fire…” (Muslim, Zakat, 105).
“It is better for one among you to bring a load of firewood on his back and give charity out of it (and satisfy his own need) and be independent of people, than that he should beg from people, whether they give him anything or refuse him (Muslim, Zakat, 107)
Islam does not deem Muslims who do not work, who sit idly, make do with a morsel and a coat, and who pose burden on other Muslims as good Muslims. As is understood in the hadiths above, it is strictly forbidden to beg and to take begging as an occupation.
Begging is no more than laziness and manipulating philanthropic feelings of the community. Such people do not even abstain from interpreting the idea of tawakkul (putting one’s trust in God) according to themselves. They deem it tawakkul to sit back idly and expect some things from others.
There is no other religion or moral system which teach humans the ways to preserve their integrity, morality and honor as much as Islam does. In Islam, the future of the community and its honor and integrity are important; similarly the honor of one’s self is important and must absolutely be preserved. Each Muslim is responsible to preserve that valuable trust. So, in order to preserve that trust, people are shown all the ways of virtue and are commanded to abstain from evil.
Each evil takes away certain things from one’s self and honor. And the situation of those begging without any need is even worse. It is because they cause their honor and respectability to decay and cause themselves to fall into the pit of spiritual bankruptcy. For this reason, Islam, which strongly commands helping the destitute and the weak, did forbid those who are not poor and are not in need from begging, just as strongly.
While The Prophet (PBUH) tried to keep Muslims away from such an evil as begging on the one hand, on the other hand, he advised them to work and he wanted no Muslim to prefer the ignominy of begging to the honor of working for one’s livelihood.
There you go muslim boy, muslims have no honour, they will go to hell as beggars.

WOW, Mahou….you really know your stuff! I would include receiving free medical, food stamps, and housing for those who come here to harm us as a form of “begging”…..though the Muslims believe that is acceptable if it is part of a plan to destroy the infidels and America….
I read Michael Yousseff’s book: JESUS, JIHAD, AND PEACE. He is a former Muslim from the Middle East who became a Christian and came to America. He is the founder of The Church of the Apostles in Georgia…..he also says a lot of the things you say, but he also includes very revealing stuff about what Obama’s been up to in our government and the banks…..his books are very inexpensive on Amazon and he appears on Fox from time to time…..not as much as the liar Zudi Jasser….

muslims believe that they owned everything to begin with, there for there is no such thing as theft from a non believer, they are merely taking what is theirs. Then there are passages in the qur’an that say that muslims are allowed to extort and steal.

Thanks to Obummer and others people think the word “Islam” means piece. My Muslim acquaintance says it means “submission”…
My former surgeon is a Muslim and he seemed very kind and is very successful in this country due to his specialty. My former neighbor in Las Vegas was a doctor and she was kind and friendly …we shared different dishes…her’s of the middle east and mine of the deep south….I’m not sure I ever saw her go to the Mosque….she seemed very Americanized.
However, according to Michael Youssef they must answer the call if ever called on to rise up against us…..to not do so means their own death…
I believe that if any Muslim today wants entry into our country to immigrate they should be required to renounce Islam and swear allegiance to our country.

As I have mentioned before, I am a Roman Catholic, excommunicated, in the “sin bin” or penalty box depending on how it is looked at. The few muslims I know are for the most part decent people. There is evidence they are “ethnic” muslims, not practitioners of islam. A real muslim would have no problem lying by swearing an oath of allegiance, as muslims have to lie in the interests of islam. The only thing that might work, is draconian prison sentences and legal repercussions for treason against America by muslims, or anyone else for that matter. islam means submission, it has nothing to do with peace other then “pieces” of whatever it destroys. The second best way to destroy islam is to understand it very well, the best way is to let it destroy itself, which it is slowly doing.

While I don’t support your first sentence, I do support the idea, which some may call a fact, that the religion of Islam is not only not going to commit suicide or de-materialize spontaneously, it is aggressive and oppressive when not dominant.
Meanwhile, European Christianity is gurgling it’s last gasps attached to faulty life-support.

If 51% of america becomes muslim tomorrow, and votes—-democratically and constitutionally—to incorporate sharia in the constitution, and amend the amendments that prevent such action….
Would you be able to stop us? The answer is no. It would be 100% legitimate and lawful as per your own laws. Using your democratic system itself, we can establish islam’s hegemony – democratically.
Which means – Your own laws can and will be the key to our success. Remember – ALWAYS defend the constitution and never, ever let it change!

that is correct, but, like muslims the world over reject laws and social convention, there is nothing that would stop those opposing islam from a civil war, you would be familiar with that from your exploits in western europe. Remember, Japan did not attempt to invade America in world war two as there is a large well equipped motivated citizens army that is spread across the country. A muslim tried the muslim’s died.

Being stretched thin doesn’t even begin to cover such a strategy. Imperial Japan had forces all over the place, Singapore, China, Vietnam, Indonesia (Dutch E. Indies back then), Hong Kong, China, Burma, Taiwan (Formosa back then). Maybe if everyone in the home islands enlisted in the army it could’ve been done.

The Japanese know that if they didn’t eliminate the American fleet at Pearl Harbour, they would very likely lose, stubborn silly ancestors persisted in what they knew was going to be a failure. To start with, Japan never had adequate fuel for its warships to operate them properly.

I support freedom of religion. Since Islam is the official religion of Saudi Arabia, they should be allowed to build as many mosques in the United States as they allow churches and synagogues in Saudi Arabia (that current number is zero), and no more.
Since Islam is the official religion of Saudi Arabia, all mosque employees should be registered as agents of a foreign government.

Freedom is not what islam is all about, you as a non muslim are free to submit to islam or die, that is not freedom. islam is death, at every level of society. You will notice in the qur’an that death is the prescribed remedy to resolve issues of any nature.

As a military member who seen crosses ripped off troops necks, during entry customs inspections and witnessed other USAF members having crosses and bibles confiscated during entry inspections, as a First Sergeant, I can attest to your feelings!!! They did allow us, to have a common denomination church, so long as it was NOT indiscernible as such from from the outside!!! They were GETTING THEIR ASSES KICKED BY SADDAM HUSSEIN FORCES and getting hit HARD, until we finally stepped in and saved their ARESES!!

A sixty foot mosque does not belong in a residential suburban area. And the call to prayer five times per day should not be allowed. The Christian church bells only ring on Sunday to my knowledge. Noise control and legislation pertaining to that situation is necessary. We live in secular country, with many religions, and many people with no religion. One group cannot receive favoritism, deference, or special consideration.

I haven’t heard them in years…..there may be a few places where they still ring…but the atheists have pretty much stomped them out around our country…..the Muslims will finish the job soon…..unless President Trump can stomp them out….
When Obama was running for Pres the first time he was asked what sound did he like most in the world to hear…..he didn’t say his children’s laughter, or a song or anything normal…..he said the Muslim call to prayer was the most beautiful sound in the world to him…..that should have been most people’s first clue….

Good show.They had to rise and hit back.No one mentions them and in Europe, more Syrian Muslims are accepted due to their higher birth rate–so that the demographic imbalance is resolved( what a cute idea since it also means Islamization of Europe when they reach the majority status).

The right to abolish or alter government is being tested daily as we watch the travesty unfold before us. It seems we really don’t always know who to trust especially our leaders and the media. I suggest finding groups of like minded like the people in this article for strength in numbers for making changes. Its good to bolster each other but after awhile it can seem a bit frustrating. Maybe this will be another 1960s but this time it will be about freedom for humanity all over the world.
