Under President Obama, Obama’s Department of Justice acted as the de facto legal arm of Islamic supremacists who flouted city rules and ordinances in order to overthrow the best interests of targeted communities by building mega-mosques, beachheads for Islamic imperialism.
The good people of Sterling Heights, Michigan are under enormous Islamic pressure following its denial of a mega-mosque in a residential neighborhood populated largely by Christian refugees who fled Islamic persecution in Iraq. Some Chaldean residents in Sterling Heights have been at the forefront of the opposition. These people fled the oppression and subjugation of Islamic domination. They know what this mega-mosque means. Other residents in the neighborhood have claimed the proposed center would be a nuisance to the area, citing traffic issues as well as concerns regarding EMS response time; the mosque would be built across the street from a fire station.

Sterling Heights already has two mosques, but a third, the American Islamic Community Center, applied for a permit and was rejected after it was determined its proposed use was incompatible with the residential area. Too much traffic, too little parking, the city planning commission decided by a 9-0 vote against the mosque in September 2015.
But in December, the mosque sued the city and the Obama Justice Department joined in, claiming the real reason the mosque was denied was because the city was caving to anti-Muslim bigotry in the community. Now, a settlement deal is headed to the Sterling Heights City Council on Tuesday evening. If the council votes to sign the deal, it could be very costly for the city.
“Why else would Jeff Sessions not dismiss the Obama DOJ lawsuit against Sterling Heights?” Manaserri asks. “We have been told by legal experts that he has the power to simply dismiss the lawsuit. A consent order typically implies wrongdoing with the application of penalties.”
Islamic supremacists and Muslim Brotherhood organizations such as CAIR call upon their running dogs at the Department of Justice to impose the sharia and usurp American law for Islamic law. What small town can go up against the U.S. government’s vast resources and endless taxpayer-funded muscle? President Obama’s lawless administration allowed the rampant construction of rabats and jihad recruitment centers at a time when we should be monitoring the mosques and restricting construction of Muslim Brotherhood beachheads and Islamic State madrassas.

These dangerous and subversive groups exploited Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act (RLUIPA) to achieve their goals. It is time to repeal RLUIPA. It has long been abused by Islamic supremacist groups to construct beachheads, mega mosques tied to jihadist groups in small tiny neighborhoods.
Millions of Muslims come to Western countries with a ready-made model of society and government, and establish parallel societies based on Islamic law. Back in 1999, the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act (RLUIPA) provided enhanced religious liberty protections in two specific situations: the use of land for religious purposes and religious liberty claims by prisoners passed. RLUIPA gives churches and other religious institutions “a way to avoid burdensome zoning law restrictions on their property use.” Ironically, it was legislation largely backed by Republicans, and was meant to scale back on the enormous implications of previous legislation passed under “Religious Freedom Restoration Act” during the Clinton administration. Like most legislation the government passes, the law of unintended consequences comes back to haunt us in spades. The original intent behind the “Religious Freedom Restoration Act,” while applied to all religions, was “most pertinent to Native American religions that are burdened by increasing expansion of government projects onto sacred land. In Native American religion the land they worship on is very important. Often the particular ceremonies can only take place in certain locations because these locations have special significance.”
By introducing this religious accommodation into law, the Republicans paved the way for the Islamic supremacists to destroy our freedoms and individual rights. The genie is out of the bottle, but RLUIPA ought to be repealed.
In passing these sweeping laws there was concern that “while intended to safeguard the core constitutional principle of religious liberty, could undermine another fundamental constitutional concern, that of ensuring equal protection under the law.” Well, it has and it did. Religious liberty for all? What if a religion is supremacist is steamrolls over the rights of non-believers, oppresses women, calls for the annihilation of Christians and Jews ….”

Sessions urged to undo Obama-DOJ’s Muslim ‘discrimination’ suit against U.S. city

A city of 130,000 people in southeastern Michigan is under the gun of Islamic pressure following its denial of a mega-mosque in a residential neighborhood populated largely by Christian refugees who fled Islamic persecution in Iraq.
Sterling Heights already has two mosques, but a third, the American Islamic Community Center, applied for a permit and was rejected after it was determined its proposed use was incompatible with the residential area. Too much traffic, too little parking, the city planning commission decided by a 9-0 vote against the mosque in September 2015.
But in December, the mosque sued the city and the Obama Justice Department joined in, claiming the real reason the mosque was denied was because the city was caving to anti-Muslim bigotry in the community. Now, a settlement deal is headed to the Sterling Heights City Council on Tuesday evening. If the council votes to sign the deal, it could be very costly for the city.
Local residents fear it’s a bad deal, something similar to the Obama DOJ-orchestrated deal forced upon nearby Pittsfield Township, Michigan, last year. That town had to pay out $1.7 million to local Muslims to whom it had denied a permit for an Islamic school, and township employees were ordered to undergo sensitivity training to assure they never again discriminate against Muslims.
Sessions to the rescue?
Attorney General Jeff Sessions could cancel any similar deal from taking effect in Sterling Heights, but only if he is aware of it and acts quickly.
“If the city council is found to be cooperating with the Obama DOJ staff who are expediting this consent order to stick it to the Sessions/Trump team, then this city will go nuts,” said Dick Manaserri, spokesman for Secure Michigan, a group formed to educate the public on Shariah law and how it differs from American law.
In last November’s presidential election, Donald Trump carried Sterling Heights, normally a Democratic Party stronghold, by 56 to 44 percent over Hillary Clinton. He also carried Macomb County, home to Sterling Heights and also a Democratic-oriented county.
But Trump’s new AG, Sessions, is apparently not yet fully in control of the Justice Department, which includes many holdovers from the Obama administration.
“Why else would Jeff Sessions not dismiss the Obama DOJ lawsuit against Sterling Heights?” Manaserri asks. “We have been told by legal experts that he has the power to simply dismiss the lawsuit. A consent order typically implies wrongdoing with the application of penalties.”
When the planning commission denied the mosque permit in September 2015, hundreds of Sterling Heights residents gathered outside City Hall to celebrate. That celebration was caught on video, and critics cited it as evidence the city was somehow biased against Muslims.
Tom Mitchell is a resident of Sterling Heights whose family has been there since 1965. He’s seen the city’s transformation over the past couple of decades under the control of what he calls “progressives.” He avoids the world “Democrat” because the city’s elections are technically nonpartisan.
“I feel that with the left taking over, they are destroying this community. I don’t want to become another Dearborn or a Hamtramck. And our elected officials are enabling this takeover,” he said.
Hamtramck, just a few miles south of Sterling Heights, became the nation’s first city with a Muslim-majority city council in 2016, and a large portion of Dearborn resembles a Middle Eastern country with signs in Arabic and women walking the streets with their faces veiled.
He said it’s not a matter of discrimination. Churches have been denied building projects in the past because their sites were too close to residential housing. They didn’t get the federal government to sue the city; they simply picked another site.
“I truly believe this one man, Mr. Sessions, has the power to throw out any consent decree that was engineered by Obama’s Department of Justice. That is our hope,” Mitchell said. “In fact, I know of hundreds of us who are praying for that opportunity to get it in Jeff Sessions’ hands, before Tuesday night, because once it’s signed, how do you overturn that? Signing it is tantamount to a consent that we’re a bunch of bigots here in Sterling Heights.”

It is time to enforce American law, not sharia, if the residents voted against the mosque than it is gone, it is not the job of the department of just-muslims to override democracy, even at at municipal level.

The same thing happened in NJ. TWICE. One YUGE mosque in Bernardsville and Bridgewater NJ. These locations are CLOSE.
The Bridgewater situation got slapped with a discrimination lawsuit for MILLIONS of dollars. If I remember right, that is being financed through a bond so as to not raise taxes. So they got their way plus MILLIONS of dollars. BOTH locations can NOT handle the traffic load of a mosque that size and neither does the zoning. It didn’t matter, Holder pushed it through. It was totally LAWLESS.
Bridgewater did it’s best to fight it but the Obama DOJ crushed them with legal crap. NJ is crawling with this crap. Bridgewater and Bernardsville are more upscale areas so the people were more involved in FIGHTING it and still lost. I’d bet this is going on all over the country. Make no mistake about it, It is TARGETED placement of mosques. They don’t want them JUST in the ghetto areas.
They did the EXACT some thing in BOTH NJ locations for the mosque:

Obama, CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood were definitely targeting areas for Mosques in more well to do areas. They used the FINES to finance it. They KNEW they’d win under Obama. Of course Gov, FAT, RINO, USELESS, Christie did NOTHING. to stop it.

Michigan. I am sure you already know the details of this affair. Please help
put the brakes on the Obama-inspired campaign to Islamize America by dismissing
the lawsuit. It is estimated that about 80% of the mosques in the U.S. openly preach
jihad against the country and its non-Muslim citizens. This proposed mosque
would likely be no different, especially because the current residents, many of
whom fled Islamic persecution in the Mideast, fear they would be targeted by “lone
wolf” jihadists attending the mosque (a recent report shows that most of the “lone
wolf” jihadists who have struck in this country are inspired and/or directed by

Don’t the people in our country recognize this is an invasion of the USA how in fact has it gotten this far in beyond belief if the people in this country want to continue to have a country then we better start enforcing the law and rid the country of this menace once and for all .

There is a large segment of Chaldeans who live in Sterling Heights. They left Iraq because they were being persecuted by Muslims, and now the Muslims are moving into their safe community. Not good. Pittsfield Township had won their first lawsuit against the Mosque, but then CAIR took the case to Obama and that is when the Muslims won. Hopefully, Sessions will step in.

The Chaldeans are Christian, but it is my understanding that the Assyrians are the ones that spoke Aramaic and that the Chaldeans later adopted the language. I remember when the Assyrians were being murdered in Syria, the news said they were the only living group who spoke Aramaic. Also, there are Assyrians living in Sterling Heights. Sad to say, I read this morning that the Sterling Heights City Council caved to the Muslim Community.

That statement is not true. Both groups speak the language and spoke it since the time of Mesopotamia; they have the same culture, the only difference is Assyrians are Orthodox Christians from Syria, Iraq, Iran and Chaldeans are Catholic Christians only from Iraq. Also, you will find majority of Assyrians grouping Chaldeans as one and the same under the Assyrian umbrella.

If you refuse to fit in, go to Hollywood and camp out there. They will surely greet you (the rest of the state as well) with open arms. like a long lost son and or daughter. Jeff Sessions needs to root out the progs burrowed deep into the Justice Dept. Tillerson needs to do the same with the arabists at the State Dept. Leadership comes from the top! There is a reason the muzzies won’t consider another site as would a Church or Synagogue. It is their way of being “in your face”.

If Jeff Sessions seems to be a bit slow in reacting to issues like this, keep in mind that he, like Trump, inherited a bucket of worms to straighten out. Can you imagine a Justice Department stuffed full of liberals under the leadership of Loretta Lynch whose priorities started with Obama’s approval instead of the laws of our land? Mr. Sessions first priority is to put together a motivated “A Team” that fully embraces our Constitution. Preparatory to that he has to “take out the trash”. I wonder if Loretta Lynch had thousands of documents shredded before she left the Justice Department? She can’t leave anything around that would incriminate her boss!
