White House: ‘TOO EARLY TO TELL’ if Chicago Beating of White Trump Supporter by Racist Black Anti-Trump Gang was a Hate Crime

34

But a white cop protecting a black man’s home is a hate crime — necessitating a beer summit.

But a Palestinian state that forbids Jews is not a hate state.

And a disabled white man kidnapped, gagged, beaten by racist black anti-Trump gang is not a hate crime.

And herein lies the rub with “hate crimes” and “hate speech”: who decides what’s hate? The haters like Obama?

The Washington Post framed it this way:

If you believe discrimination against white people is rampant, that Donald Trump supporters face persecution, that Chicago is a war zone, and the media is dishonest, then your entire worldview is likely to be confirmed by one awful story.

Chicago police have detained four black teenagers after one of them streamed a live video showing the group striking and shouting at a young white man, who was bound and gagged. In the video, the assailants say “f— Trump” and “f— white people” and say that the victim “represents Trump,” though it is unclear whether the man actually backs the president-elect.

These people are beyond the pale.

White House: Too Early to Tell if Chicago Beating was a Hate Crime

NTK, January 5, 2016:

On Wednesday, a group of African-American teenagers tortured a white man with special needs and streamed the horrific acts on Facebook.

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest was asked if President Obama had any comment about the video.

“I haven’t spoken to the President about it, but I am confidant he would be angered by the images that are depicted on that video,” Earnest told the reporter.

The reporter asked Earnest if this rose to the level of a hate crime.

“I think it’s too early to tell. I certainly don’t want to predict where the investigation will lead,” Earnest told the reporter. “I wouldn’t speculate at this point to what degree federal officials would get involved for considering those kinds of crimes.”

The Associated Press described the event as such: “Hate crime, battery charges filed against four black suspects accused in beating of white man streamed live on Facebook.”
