Indiana public school worksheet praises Sharia cloth coffin for women

[the_ad id=”83350″]

“The worksheet, assigned to seventh-graders at Highland Hills Middle School, presents a passage written by a fictional 20-year-old Saudi woman named Ahlima, who feels ‘very fortunate’ to live under Sharia law in Saudi Arabia. She writes about how she will soon become a man’s second wife and explains her modest dress: ‘I understand that some foreigners see our dress as a way of keeping women from being equal, but … I find Western women’s clothing to be horribly immodest.’”

This is pure propaganda, coming to you in Indiana public schools. Over the years I have heard from so many parents whose children have been fed the same dawah. This has to stop. The public school system needs massive overhaul.

Story continues below advertisement

“Worksheet on ‘Sharia law’ irks school parents”, by Kirsten Clark, Courier-Journal, January 18, 2017:

Parents in Southern Indiana are upset by a middle school worksheet’s portrayal of “Sharia law,” which they say casts the Islamic code in a positive light while ignoring human rights violations and the oppression of women.

“The way that the worksheet is left would be like describing how effective Hitler was at nationalizing Germany and creating patriotism but leaving out that he slaughtered 6 million Jews,” said Dean Hohl, one of several parents who spoke out against the assignment at a recent New Albany-Floyd County school board meeting.

He added: “I’m just not OK with my daughter – or any child that age – leaving class with the understanding that anything about Sharia law is OK.”

The worksheet, assigned to seventh-graders at Highland Hills Middle School, presents a passage written by a fictional 20-year-old Saudi woman named Ahlima, who feels “very fortunate” to live under Sharia law in Saudi Arabia. She writes about how she will soon become a man’s second wife and explains her modest dress: “I understand that some foreigners see our dress as a way of keeping women from being equal, but … I find Western women’s clothing to be horribly immodest.”

“That document by itself, it’s almost propaganda,” said Jon Baker, whose daughter also received the worksheet. “If you read that, you would think everything’s wonderful in that world.”

Bill Briscoe, a spokesman for the district, said the curriculum is being reviewed in light of the complaints, per district policy.

The same worksheet, created by InspirEd Educators Inc., caused a controversy when it was used at a middle school in Smyrna, Ga., in 2011. Sharon Coletti, the creator of the worksheet and president of InspirEd Educators, said she received death threats and was accused of “indoctrinating” children at the time.

Coletti, who is a Christian and longtime educator, said in an interview with the Courier-Journal that she wasn’t trying to indoctrinate anyone. She said she was just trying to create a lesson that was more engaging than dry, expository text pulled from a textbook.

“If I can shape something so that kids have to decide for themselves, once I get them involved in the situation, they never forget it,” she said…..

Sharon Coletti, stupid, stupid woman. First, the time for fiction is in english literature, not social studies, history or anywhere else. Why was the subject of personal dress brought up with representatives from other cultures, especially American? If you wish to discuss shari’a, then go to the parts pertaining to the rights and treatment of women under islam. Quit trying to shove democrat socialist islamic propaganda on children who are going to school to learn, not be indoctrinated in islam. If you can’t make the subject interesting without fiction and lying, you are not an educator, you are an idiot.

This teacher talks the talk, but can she walk the walk? She should be ordered to wear a thick, black, “coffin” covering from head to toe, for the remainder of the school year. In fact, maybe the female students would benefit from doing the same for a minimum of one week. The students would quickly come to the conclusion that this “wonderful” mode of dress is actually a form of torture.

If Ms. Coletti was trying to create a lesson that was more engaging, there are far more subjects to choose from than how wonderful sharia law is. Don’t try to pull the wool over everyone’s eyes, Ms. Coletti. Yes, you were trying to indoctrinate children.

Each time we use the term – ‘Religion of peace’ in regard to islam, we help islam. Even if we use it ironically or satirically.
This is because this label diminishes the gravity, the seriousness of the existential islamic threat.
Islam is a ‘religion’ of terror. We say religion of peace. This is the antithesis of what islam is. So we are dragged from one end to the polar opposite end, with the usage of this label. It dilutes and distracts from the solemnity of the grave islamic threat. Similar to putting out fire to some degree, with water. Therefore, it is highly recommended that we refrain from using the ‘Religion of peace’ label, even in jest, lest we hurt the anti-islamic cause.

How about a lesson plan about the health effects of living covered by that crap? Problems from vit D deficiencies causing bone density problems and rickets. Eye infections from bacterial build up on the fabric. Or how about the problems associated with genital mutilation? The only thing one needs to know about sharia is that it it totally unconstitutional and violates our Bill of Rights.

A realistic “show and tell” lesson would be far more educational. They could invite female “survivors” of sharia law, those who suffered burnings, mutilations, acid attacks, beatings, etc.

Ok Sharon Coletti, here is a brief part of the shari’a that your fictitious character is deluded by, devolve a werk sheet from reality of situation.

Quran 2:228 and 4:34 states that mankind is superior to womankind in a variety of legal and domestic

contexts. Quran 2:223 says wives are fields, and their husbands can go into them whenever and however they

like. How does this inferiority work out in the law and society? 22. A woman inherits half what a man does. Quran 4:11 says it, and the hadith (traditions) and classical law confirm it. Modern Islamic nations still do this, and religious leaders still argue for it.

Back-up article: Women’s Status and Roles

23. A woman’s testimony in a court of law counts half of a man’s testimony, since she

might “forget.” Quran 2:282 says it in the context of business law. But the hadith (traditions) explains that

women’s minds are deficient; classical law expands this curtailment to other areas than business.Modern Islamic nations still do this, and religious scholars still argue for it.Back-up article: Women’s Status and Roles

24. A man may legally and irrevocably divorce his wife, outside of a court of law, by correctly pronouncing three times “you are divorced.” Quran 2:229 says

this, and the traditions and classical law explain and confirm it. A judge in a modern Islamic country will ensure that the husband did not speak from a fit of irrational rage (anger is okay) or intoxication, for example. Then the court

will validate the divorce, not daring to overturn it, since the Quran says so. Sometimes this homemade and irrevocable divorce produces a lot of regret in the couple and manipulation from the husband in Islam today.

25. A wife may remarry her ex-husband if and only if she marries another man, has sex

with him, and then this second man divorces her. Quran 2:230 says this, and the traditions and classical law confirm it. Supposedly, this rule is designed to prevent easy divorce (see the previous point), but it produces a lot of pain, in Muslims today.

26. Husbands may hit their wives. Quran 4:34 says it, and the traditions and classical law confirm it. There is a sequence of steps a husband follows before he can hit her, but not surprisingly this rule creates all sorts of abuse and confusion in Islamic society today. Back-up article: Domestic Violence

27. A man may be polygamous with up to four wives. Quran 4:3 (and 33:50-52) allow this, but only if a man can take care of them. The traditions and classical law confirm it. Modern Muslims still push for this old marital arrangement even in the USA, and many Islamic nations still allow it. But some Muslims are fighting polygamy. The hadith (traditions) paints a picture of Muhammad’s household that was full of strife between the wives. Back-up article: Polygamy

28. A man may simply get rid of one of his “undesirable” wives. Quran 4:128 says this. The traditions say about the verse that the wife whom Muhammad wanted to get rid of was “huge” and “fat.” She gave up her turn to his favorite
girl-bride Aisha. He kept the corpulent wife. There is heartbreak in Islam today. Back-up article: Polygamy

29. A mature man may marry a prepubescent girl.Quran 65:1-4, particularly verse 4, assumes, but does not command, the practice. The hadith says Aisha was six years old when she was engaged to Muhammad (he was in his fifties), and their marriage was consummated when she was nine. The hadith indicate she was prepubescent at nine. She never did bear him any children. Classical law says a father may give away his prepubescent daughter, but she also has a few rights.

Officially many Islamic nations have raised the legal marriage age, but pockets in the Islamic

world still follow this old custom. The Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia okays marriage to ten-year-old girls. Work

is still needed to be done for the rights of girl brides, particularly for their sexual health.

30. A woman must wear a head covering and maybe a facial veil, according to sound traditions and authoritative classical law. Quran 24:31, 33:53 and 33:59 are not as clear about the veil as one might first think. The verses say to dress modestly, but should the head be covered or just the neckline? What about the face (except the eyes)? Thus, modern Muslims are now in a big debate over the veil. However, the traditions and classical law are clearer than the Quran: the veil over the face (except the eyes).

Respected Quran scholars in the past interpreted verse 4:34 with impressive candor. Tabari said that it means to “admonish them, but if they refused to repent, then tie them up in their homes and beat them until they obey Allah’s commands toward you.” Qurtubi told wife-beaters to avoid breaking bones, if possible, but added that “it is not a crime if it leads to death.” (source)

Muslim (4:1039) – “A’isha said [to Muhammad]: ‘You have made us equal to the dogs and the asses'” These are the words of Muhammad’s favorite wife, complaining of the role assigned to women under Islam.

York MSA Female students wearing hijab and niqab, who manned the Info Booth at the Central Square of York University, handed out to students the book “Women in Islam & Refutation of some Common Misconceptions,” authored by the Saudi scholar Dr. Abdul-Rahman al-Sheha and printed by the Saudi Dawah organization Muslim World League (رابطة العالم الاسلامي). For Blogwrath’s report on the event click here.

The following are excerpts from the book:

“Although beating of women is generally forbidden, Islam permits the beating of wives in a restricted and limited sense only as a final solution and acceptable valid reason when all else fails… Allah deals with the case of a wife who behaves immorally towards her husband’s rights. The treatment of this extremely sensitive issue comes in gradual stages… Third and final stage: Beating without hurting, breaking a bone, leaving black or blue marks on the body, and avoiding hitting the face or especially sensitive places at any cost. The purpose of beating her is only to discipline… This treatment is proved to be very effective with two types of women… The first type: Strong willed, demanding and commandeering women… The second type: Submissive or subdued women. These women may even enjoy being beaten at times as a sign of love and concern… Beating, according to the Islamic teachings, is listed as the last and final stage of disciplining methods.”

Public schools in America have got to stop this nonsense. Is there separation of church and state in the US? This stuff is very bad because it is subtle, and being pushed on young minds. Do people understand what happens over time when exposed to this? One begins to question oneself. One begins to believe that there may be the possibility that one is immodest. There is a solution here…and it is simple. How about these people who love their way of life stay in their own land? Because extreme fundamentalism and secularism will never and can never acclimate to one another or mix. Some may say they can, but it is a lie, a ploy, used until the numbers grow and shall force that which you do not want, upon you. Stay cautious. What’s happening is that the world is furiously seeking for the next war. Because men love war, it is their nature. It cannot be stopped. One can only remain prepared and strong, always prepared. Because it will come, they will come, it always does. Look to history, it will show you. Prepare, stay strong.
As for Indiana, and whoever out this “material” shame on you! How could you?

That’s right Fred, as would I. Problem is that “the right” doesn’t speak, and doesn’t protest. I have an idea why that may be the case. Job and child responsibilities. High taxes keep those with jobs very very busy.
But that needs to change. The right needs to resist and become vocal, demand their rights as well. Because that’s what the left does.

HERE’S MY SUMMER STORY 🙂

What a great day. Sweltering heat but no big deal.
Blue mountain should be fun !
8 hour drive to get there. Way the heck up in Northern Ontario!!

Finally here. Let’s go zip lining !!

Waiting in line. Waiting , waiting.
Then this happens. UNREAL
The Chinese people in front of us bail.
I wonder why??

Ahhhh I see why.
Standing behind these “coffins” in the summer waiting to go zip lining
was not high on their list apparently.

Prior to that I was thinking ewww whats that awful smell. I feel like puking !
Then it dawned on me. These aren’t huge penguins being pulled around by trolls.
These are real people! Real stinky people that smell like the Zoo.

Head gross hobbit with no teeth & gingivitus breath projecting 10 feet.
YOU COULD SMELL IT IN THE AIR !
Idiot white people smiling towards them hoping they make eye contact so they can act all tolerant.
I mean this is Canada we have to act ULTRA HAPPY
( That is except Asian Canadian’s. Thankfully
they don’t seem to care. They know Muslims could care less so why act like cucks ! )

Then it hits peak………….you look at the Womens feet………………..UGHHHHHHH !!!!!
Vomit !!!
Then you notice the one and only young good looking girl YET to be covered up.
Escorted around like a puppy by some disgusting creature.
Then you realize….this is probably her future husband not her Grandpa !

GOOD TIMES !!!! Vacation wrecked.

Islamic women’s clothing is NOT about modesty, it’s about allowing men to be predators unless, some of the time, women walk around hobbled by yards of black fabric. It’s a way of life so constrictive it prevents women doing anything constructive outdoors in view of men.

It doesn’t surprise me that feminists are sympathetic with Islam, and its diabolical women’s clothing BECAUSE if all of us women had to wear these nightmare garments the tyrannical feminists wouldn’t even have to open their mouths to prove men are evil -a win-win for them.

Well if this Ms Collettie wishes to make an impression the class of 7th graders will never forget, why not show the pictures of ISIS burning a mother of 4 and her children, one of the children was only 9 mos old, to ensure they have a lasting impression on what ISIS is? Then, just to make sure the lesson is complete, outline the entirety of Sharia law where a women’s life is less then a dogs! Then show them how most women are married as children, 9-11 years old!! Oh yeah, they won’t forget that one. Then just for good measure, make sure you show them the writing of the Koran which state how infidels everywhere must be converted or killed. Those females that won’t convert can be taken as sex slaves and then killed later. *smh. The more these idiot liberals try to normalize what Islam is, the more they show themselves under educated on the topic. Not only will they not tell the complete truth of what Islam is and isn’t…but they won’t even tell these students of any age what it is these men in Islam do to women on a day to day basis! You want to leave a lasting impression on your students, tell them the truth, show them the truth and then let them make up their own minds about dress and style. *face palm* Morons…..we are surrounded by morons!!

Just because someone claims to be a Christian does not make it so. As a prime example, look at “Christian” Barack Hussein Obama, who said on national TV “My muslim faith” and had to be corrected; who praises muslims at every speech possible, who bowed like a Japanese servant to the Saudi King, and tell yourself that he is a true Christian. If you do, you will be lying to yourself.
