The Geller Report has obtained a screenshot of the response some Facebook users received after reporting a disturbing video showing the torture and beating of a disabled white Trump supporter in Chicago. Upon reporting the violent video, Facebook replied, saying “We reviewed the video and it DOESN’T go against one of our specific community standards.
On Tuesday, the shocking 30 minute video showing the beating and torture of the man was live streamed on Facebook from Brittany Herring’s account. In the video, the four attackers are heard yelling “Fuck Donald Trump. Fuck white people” while assaulting the man, forcing him to drink toilet water. At one point in the video, the attackers used a knife to cut off the man’s clothing. It is being reported that the man was held hostage between 24-48 hours.
As word of the video spread, thousands of people posted comments of disgust and outrage and reported Herring’s page for inappropriate content.
Facebook seems to be operating under a double standard. They won’t censor a brutal, violent, and racist attack against a disabled Trump supporter, but they have no issue censoring and blocking conservative’s posts about terrorism carried out by Muslims, as demonstrated by Facebook’s ongoing attack of Pamela Geller. If a video showing a white man being pummeled by Black Lives Matter supporters doesn’t violate Facebook’s standards, what does? Does it really get any worse than that? Perhaps Facebook needs to re-evaluate its “community standards”.

Your contribution supports independent journalism
Please take a moment to consider this. Now, more than ever, people are reading Geller Report for news they won't get anywhere else. But advertising revenues have all but disappeared. Google Adsense is the online advertising monopoly and they have banned us. Social media giants like Facebook and Twitter have blocked and shadow-banned our accounts. But we won't put up a paywall. Because never has the free world needed independent journalism more.
Everyone who reads our reporting knows the Geller Report covers the news the media won't. We cannot do our ground-breaking report without your support. We must continue to report on the global jihad and the left's war on freedom. Our readers’ contributions make that possible.
Geller Report's independent, investigative journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we believe our work is critical in the fight for freedom and because it is your fight, too.
