We spent 3 years trying to get the Maryland Reps to form a delegation in support of Derrick, and let me just say, pulling teeth would be easier. It is proper protocol to seek and secure support from Reps in the Soldier’s home state. In prior posts we have brought you the infuriating details about the injustice facing our American son, Sgt. Derrick Miller.
Story continues below advertisementSgt. Miller sits in Leavenworth Prison with a life sentence for premeditated murder for killing an Afghan he had stopped previously for surveilling his base in a hostile zone. These actions saved the lives of Derrick’s brothers.
Back in September, when supporters stood on the Capitol steps asking for help from congress for relief in Derrick’s sentence, they were joined by Retired LCpl Dave Madaras.
Madaras wrote a letter to Congressman Delaney of Maryland on Derrick’s behalf (see below).
Madaras’ letter is exceptionally powerful and poignant because he is a survivor of the October 23, 1983 bombing of the Marine barracks in Beirut which killed 241 and wounded 100 more of our brave men.
Madaras’s letter makes the powerful point that Derrick saved the lives of his mean that day.
On September 26, 2010, when the incident occurred on Derrick’s base, the base immediately went on 100% security and all our soldiers were moved from their positions. An hour later the base was attacked. We did not lose one precious American son that day because of these changes in positions. Derrick’s instincts in recognizing Atta Mohammed from the prior day (when Derrick stopped Mohammed who was driving a truck with a 50 gallon empty drum, guns, change of clothes and laptops) saved the lives of his brothers. Madaras shared with Congressman Delaney, “I know I am not the only one who if time was turned back would willingly sacrifice my life and do whatever it took to stop that truck!”
Derrick did stop a truck, in the form of Atta Mohammed, to protect his men and instead of being held as a hero, he is languishing in prison for life. As Madaras wisely states in his letter to Delaney,
“I am writing to bring your attention to an Army Veteran who is serving time in Ft. Leavenworth for, “murder,” when he should be decorated for valor.”
Please take the time to read this letter and contact your congressman and senator TODAY to ask for their help in having Sgt. Miller’s sentence reduced and allow him to return home to his two little girls.

Exactly. We need to bring this treacherous mainstream media’s actions into light repeatedly, until pressure is applied on them. Without pressure they won’t change. And without repetition, they won’t be pressured.

Do you remember, back in the early 1970’s, when the Supreme Court got in trouble for orgies with their boy and girl pages? The Federal Government is a cesspool and needs to be drained. There are LONG lists of democrats who got one of their interns pregnant and the intern turns up dead in a nearby park. Look that up during the Clinton Administration. I remember at least three.

When the POS president Johnson was running the Viet Nam war, he put the military on special rules of engagement and limited how many rounds of ammo a soldier could carry. Johnson used to brag “not a gun is fired or a bomb dropped that I do not personally authorize”. We see the Marxist POS, rat obama, does the same thing. It is OK for Americans to die, but all hell breaks out if a fellow traveler commie buys it.
Why do we allow a communist party in the U.S.? Why do we allow a Nazi party in the U.S.? Simple, democrats LOVE anyone who hates the U.S. Democrats are the enemy.
I do believe Mr. Trump will rectify these injustices against the American people.

Free Sgt,. Miller, purge his file of any wrong doing, award him a medal for his patriotic actions in the service of, at the time, an ungrateful country. Then, to assure justice is done, have obamgutang, hillpanzee and lynch serve the remainder of there lives in the same jail they sent an innocent decent soldier to.

Obama traded five high-level Jihadis being held at Gitmo for one POS deserter in Afghanistan…Sgt. Bo Bergdahl. The presser in the Rose Garden featuring Obama and the deserters parents was a sickening display of injustice and depravity. Since then, Bergdahl has been given back-pay for the time he was AWOL and assigned a desk job. He is currently awaiting court-martial (he may be pardoned by the Coward-in-Chief on his way out of the White House). Obama could pardon Sgt. Derrick Miller and even have his record expunged….but we know that this will never happen. President Trump could pardon him on his first day in office….let’s hope something is done to correct this travesty. Obama’s has done his best to demoralize and weaken our military men and women. The liberals openly insult and denigrate the military….unless they are faced with the real possibility of having their faces kicked in for being an obnoxious prick.

this is absolutely LUDICROUS!!! I hope Trump pardons this great patriot and brings him home where he belongs so he can receive his well deserved medal of honor. this is a prime example of why we need to get rid of the stupid rules of engagement. all it’s good for is tying our brave soldiers hands behind their backs rendering them defenseless in the face of a hostile enemy that hates the very air we breathe.
