Sharia Demands on Toronto Schools: Muslim Parents Refuse to Send Their Children to Music Class, it’s Haram

54

Islamic supremacists invoke religious freedom and violations of their religious rights when no such rights exist for non-Muslims under the sharia. I am sure the irony is lost on the Muslim community, as they tend to be humorless (humor, like music, is haram under Islamic law).

The extraordinary time and money spent challenging music education in Ontario public schools provides a window on how Islamic supremacists work to dismantle Western mores, and how Western school officials capitulate, cajole, appease, amend to no avail. It must be the Muslim way or no way at all.

Mr. Dasu, a Koran teacher who sometimes leads prayers at Scarborough’s Jame Abu Bakr Siddique mosque, says he has led the fight on behalf of parents. He has consulted with national Islamic bodies, and requested a letter from the leader of his mosque.

“We do not compromise with anyone on the clear-cut orders and principles conveyed by the Prophet,” said Mr. Ingar, who also leads the Scarborough Muslim Association.

This line best illustrates the supremacist thinking of devout Muslims:

“After pulling his kids out of school in order to not have them contaminated by music and song, Mr Dasal said: “We’re flexible.”

If these Muslims are so devout, why live in a Western country? If these Muslims are so devout, why aren’t they sending their children to a madrassa (an Islamic school)? Because they seek to impose Islam on the secular marketplace.

School administrators pitched an array of potential compromises. Records show one idea was to have the children “research the role of nashid” – or the Islamic tradition of oral music. Another was to have the children clap out quarter notes, half notes and full notes.

“Your children will not be required to play a musical instrument or sing in their music class,” read a formal note to at least one family.

The records show that as the standoff at Donwood Park lingered, TDSB officials prepared a media plan and sought legal advice from eminent lawyers, including Eric Roher of Borden Ladner Gervais.

They do not make clear how the situation was dealt with. But during the 2014 school year, two requests for music exemptions were made. When school officials struggled again to suggest accommodations, they were presented with a “Petition for Accommodation of Religious Beliefs of Muslim Students” signed by more than 130 parents, initiated by Mr. Dasu.

By the spring of 2015, an interest group known as the National Council of Canadian Muslims was prodded by some parents to intercede further. After meeting with Donwood Park administrators, an NCCM spokeswoman referred them to a guide it has created for Canadian teachers. “Opinion regarding the place of music varies among different Muslim countries,” it says. But, it adds, “it is important for the school to discuss reasonable accommodations with the parents or guardians and the students themselves.”

The Muslim leader who started the movement to exclude Muslim childen from music classes did not succeed. But he did cause an enormous drain of human and fiscal resources and he’s just begin. Mr. Dasu has since moved to a different neighbourhood nearby, and is planning to transfer his children to a new public school. He says he will take up the fight again.

music is haram

“Mandatory music classes hit a bad note with some Muslim parents,” By Colin Freeze and Mahnoor Yawar The Globe and Mail, Sep. 05, 2016:

When music class begins this week at Toronto’s Donwood Park elementary school, Mohammad Nouman Dasu will send a family member to collect his three young children. They will go home for an hour rather than sing and play instruments – a mandatory part of the Ontario curriculum he believes violates his Muslim faith. Screen Shot 2016-09-06 at 1.31.59 PM

The Scarborough school and the Toronto District School Board originally had offered an accommodation – suggesting students could just clap their hands in place of playing instruments or listen to acapella versions of O Canada – but not a full exemption from the class.

After a bitter three-year fight, however, Mr. Dasu felt he had no other opton but to bring his kids home.

According to documents ob-tained by The Globe and Mail, some parents insist they cannot allow their children to be in the same room where musical instruments are being played. Mr. Dasu, a Koran teacher who sometimes leads prayers at Scarborough’s Jame Abu Bakr Siddique mosque, says he has led the fight on behalf of parents. He has consulted with national Islamic bodies, and requested a letter from the leader of his mosque.

“We here believe that music is haram [forbidden]. We can neither listen to it, nor can we play a role in it,” said the mosque’s imam, Kasim Ingar.

Conceding that Muslims have to adjust when they send their kids to public school, he suggested that some matters, such as teaching music, are beyond debate.

“We do not compromise with anyone on the clear-cut orders and principles conveyed by the Prophet,” said Mr. Ingar, who also leads the Scarborough Muslim Association.

Within Islam, the question of whether Muslims are banned from music is divisive and nuanced. Similar to questions about whether women should wear veils, there is no consensus on the issue.

But Ontario’s primary-school curriculum is unambiguous on music class: It must be taught, without exception, to all primary-school-aged children. Officials at the TDSB say they can only bend the rules to accommodate religious students, but not exempt them.

The Globe used freedom of information laws to access TDSB e-mails on how the issue evolved at Donwood Park, where it first surfaced in 2013.

The released records redact the names of students for privacy reasons, and very few families appear to have been adamant over pulling children from music classes. Early internal e-mails show administrators wanted to find “some common ground.”

But Mr. Dasu, who says he represents many of the parents at the school concerned about the issue, pushed for exclusion for his own children by invoking the prospect of litigation and the religious freedoms clause of Canada’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

In response, school administrators pitched an array of potential compromises.

Dasu.

Mr. Dasu says he proposed alternative arrangements for his own children, which were rejected by the vice-principal, the superintendent, and a trustee of the school board, after which he decided to take them out of school for the duration of music and drama class.

TDSB officials wouldn’t discuss particular cases, but insist that religious students cannot cut themselves out of music class. “As per the Education Act, we can’t exempt students from the curriculum. But what we do is accommodate,” said John Chasty, a TDSB superintendent of education.

The TDSB says it does not keep track of the number of students who seek accommodations or exemptions. But Mr. Chasty believes the issue will come up there again in the coming school year.

Mr. Dasu has since moved to a different neighbourhood nearby, and is planning to transfer his children to a new public school. He says he will take up the fight again.

“My kids cannot participate in music or drama, that’s for sure. Let them sit in a library to read, or in an office, or let them volunteer around the school during that time, that’s all okay. We’re flexible.”

I once dated a guy who’s brother worked with children who had down syndrome and various mental disabilities. On one of their field trips to the park, one of the kiddos smashed a random picnicker’s portable CD player because “the music hurt his ears”. I’m wondering if Mohammed had “special needs” too…

When an American came to England, planning to become a big wig Salvation Army officer (clergy). William Booth decided he needed to learn some humility first. He assigned him to clean the boots & shoes of all the other officers, before breakfast, for an entire year. it worked and the American became a very good officer who now has a special conference on holiness named after him.
Maybe the Muslim students should be required to do something similar, before school starts for the day. They would definitely benefit from still being required to attend music classes. They need the relief from Islamism.

Ever since a camel must have had stepped on Mohammed’s ear, Islam is notoriously against music and all Mohammedans’ hate of this art is a proof they suffer from deafness caused by their slavish despondency on tastes of their “perfect man” (al-iinsan al-kamil). It is yet another reason to be highly “Islamo-hating” for any self-respecting kafir.

The only treason muslims go to schools because welfare pays then to, they don’t ever plan on working or contributing anything to humanity.

Sura 8 of the Koran is entitled “The Spoils,” which refers to the booty that shall be taken from the infidels. Al-Awlaki says that taking money by force from disbelievers as booty is the “best and purest form of income.” The basis for his statement comes from the Hadith Sahih Bukhari, when Muhammad said, “the spoils of war are made halal for me” (see Volume 1, Book 7, Number 331).

Why do these zibs and sharmutes come to a western country if they don’t like our way of life?
Maybe the filthy liberals would stop importing them if they realized that their way of life would be changed too.
If Muslims had their way, there would be no music,no bacon, no sausage,no beer, wine or hard liquor,no dogs,no “vulgar” clothing, mandatory prayers and acquiescence to every one of their demands-or else.

The Saudis have music radio channels as well as TV music video stations. Satellite TV stations are not censored. The Shiia do not consider music haraam.
So what am i saying? This is all BS likely to “tame” Canada to Muslim subjugation, and it is take control of this particular Muslim community. That is how it is done in Islam. Make adherents scared of the imam.

TERMITE TECHNIQUE
Always proclaimed as a matter of “religious beliefs”- playing the Religion card – this issue and others are part of the systematic and cumulative erosion of Western law.
What is really going on is the insertion of Sharia without any Act of Parliament, without any constitutional process as required with all other changes to law.
It is the Termite Technique.
Islam eats away on the inside while leaving the outside intact and apparently strong.

Each small concession to “religious feelings” is an advance for Sharia, These minor matters are the small raids in a larger war.
Switzerland stands up to this. No attendance in swimming lessons, compulsory in Swiss law, means NO CITIZENSHIP.

Recently
the educational system in Toronto was under a fierce Islamic assault, to force
infidels who are key decision makers in shaping young minds and spirits, to
accept and tolerate the intolerance of the most “Perfect Religion” Allah
imposed on humanity-Islam.

Remember what happened in 2011 when Muslim fundamentalists, forced the TDSB to allow the use of a public secular educational institution as an arena where the will of Allah should unfold. Muslim students were allowed to convert every Friday the school’s cafeteria into a Mosque, and hold Friday prayers guided by a Muslim cleric. For more details about the tragedy of Valley Park Middle School, on Overlea Blvd, in The City of Toronto, check the following link:

http://gatesofvienna.blogspot.ca/2011/10/open-letter-to-ywca-canada.html

The most recent attack was initiated by a Quran/Koran teacher, an active member of a Scarborough Mosque, named Mohammad Nouman Dasu, who wanted his
children to be exempted from music classes held at Toronto’s Donwood Park elementary school, based on a set of Islamic theological principles, that see a direct causal effect between listening to instrumental music and the corruption of the soul of children and their pursuit of pious activities that should be devoted
to the praise of Allah-Subhanahu Wa Taala.

Mr. Mohammad Nouman Dasu, a venerable Koran instructor, extremely well versed with the authoritative HADITH, and the fatwas of Moslem theologians, conveniently forgot the warnings of Ibn Taymiyyah the famous 12th century Hanbali theologian, the most frequently quoted by Sallafi and Islamic Jihadi movements, who insisted on the death punishment “when
a Muslim selectively forsakes what he knows of the Book of God [The Koran] and
of the sunna of his messenger and follows the ruling of a ruler which
contravenes a ruling of God and his messenger, he is a renegade, an unbeliever
who deserves to be punished in this world and in the hereafter.” Source: Michot, Yahya (2012). The Princeton Encyclopedia of Islamic Political Thought. Princeton University Press.

Mr. Dasu, through the process of selective amnesia decided what should or shouldn’t be part of his children’s “Islamic Religious Piety Requirements”. He conveniently forgot that a “True Muslim” should stay in his native Muslim country instead of immigrating to a country like Canada, where the dominant social, educational, and legal values are based on a modern form of secularism rooted in the Judeo-Christian tradition, not the Sharia advocated by Ibn Taymiyyah. He should have taken seriously the following warnings of Allah:

“Believers, do not make friends with any men other
than your own people. They will spare no pains to corrupt you. They desire
nothing but your ruin. Their hatred is clear from what they say, but more
violent is the hatred which their breasts conceal”. Koran 3:118

“Satan has gained possession of The People of The Book (Jews and Christians) and caused them to forget Allah’s warnings. They are the confederates of Satan;
Satan’s confederates shall assuredly be lost in hell. The Believers are the
confederates of Allah (Hizbollah); and Allah’s confederates shall surely
triumph”. Koran 58:19

Instead of wasting valuable time cursing our educational system and insisting
to decision makers of a publicly funded school that music is condemning the
soul of his children to eternal damnation, it is never too late for Mr. Dasu to
move back with the 130 parents who signed his petition to their ancestral
Muslim countries, because ineluctably he and his loved ones will face eternal
damnation as long as they stay in the land of The Koofar (Arabic for
infidels-any human being who is not a Muslim) known as Canada, and selectively
pretend to be the defenders of Islamic values. His destiny is clearly
forewarned in the following Koranic verse:

“Leave to me those that deny and use selectively this revelation. We will lead them step by step to their ruin, in ways beyond their knowledge”. Koran 68:44

Based on the previous verse Mr. Dasu, or any pious Muslim, should not
deny the following revelations that “blatantly spread hate” against Christians and Jews in particular, and all the Koofars of the world in general.

“ Know that we send down to the unbelievers (Jews and Christians) Devils who incite them to evil. Therefore have patience: their days are numbered”.

Koran 19:83 Christianophobia/Judeophobia

“We will put terror into the hearts of the unbelievers (Jews and Christians). They
serve other Gods for whom no sanction has been revealed. Hell shall be their
home; dismal indeed is the dwelling place of the evil-doers”. Koran 3:151 Christianophobia/Judeophobia

A verse often used by Muslim radicals to remind all Muslims that they have “Divine Intructions” and duty to exercise terror or engage in acts of terrorism, to kill indiscriminately innocent children, women, and seniors attending a wedding or using the public transit system to impose the will of Allah which is clearly the final triumph of the “Perfect Deen (Arabic for religion)”.
After all Jews and Christians worship Gods that have not been sanctioned by the
Allah of the “Perfect Deen”- Islam, and they are all classified as evil-doers who shall perish in an earthly hell of Muslim design, make, and timing.

“Do you fear the unbelievers (Jews and Christians)? Surely Allah is more worthy of your fear. If you are true believers make war on them; Allah will chastise them through you and humble them. He will grant you victory over
them and heal the spirit of the faithful”. Koran 9:14 Christianophobia/Judeophobia

“Cast into hell every hardened unbeliever, every opponent from the people of the book (Jews and Christians), and every doubting transgressor who has set up another God besides Allah. Hurl him into the fierce tormenting flames of hell”. Koran 50:24 Christianophobia/Judeophobia

Jews do not worship Allah. They worship Adonai and Elohim… Christians are no better. Their Allah is known as Christ. Suicide bombers use this verse to justify the blowing up of their explosive charges on buses and in a variety of public places frequented by Jews and Christians. By becoming a “Shahid” (Arabic for martyr) and securing a place in Allah’s heavenly kingdom, the suicide bomber is hurling his victims (hardened unbelievers) into the fierce tormenting flames of hell-the inferno created by the explosion in a confined space.

And to all Canadian apologists/liberal useful idiots who believe that tolerance should remain one of the most distinct characteristics of our democracy, I invite them to reflect on the following statement of British novelist Dorothy Sayers:

“In this world it is called Tolerance, but in hell it is called indifference, the sin that believes in nothing, cares for nothing, seeks to know nothing, interferes with nothing, enjoys nothing, hates nothing, finds purpose in nothing, lives for nothing, and remains alive because there is nothing for which it will die.”

Instead of advocating the tolerance of the most intolerant religion, we can at least
suggest to Mr. Mohammad Nouman Dasu, that the best solution for him and
likeminded parents will be to leave Canada and settle down with their families
in one of the Afghan Provinces under TALIBAN control. Remember what The Taliban did in September 1996 when they entered the capital Kabul.

The Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue and Suppression of Vice (PVSV), between September and December 1996 closed all movie theaters and banned a variety of activities and electronic items: music, shaving of beards, keeping of pigeons, flying kites, displaying of pictures and portraits, Western hairstyles, music and dancing at weddings, gambling, “sorcery,” and not praying 5 times a day at prayer times publicly announced often meant severe beatings and long hospital stays. Satellite dishes, cinematography, and equipment that produces the joy of music, pool tables, chess, alcohol, tapes, computers, VCRs, televisions, were confiscated and burned in stadiums. In February 2001, Taliban used sledgehammers to destroy works of art at the National Museum of Afghanistan. And last but not least, in March 2001, the Taliban ordered the demolition of two statues of the Buddha carved into a Cliffside at Bamiyan. The savagery was condemned by The UN and many countries around the world, including Muslim countries.

I am sure The Taliban will welcome Mr. Dasu and his entourage with open arms, and Canada will be free of a substantial number of fanatics who have nothing but contempt of our social values.

I’m surprised Mr. Dasu even has his kids in a public school . Most devout Muslims consider the Koran to be the only book needed not only for social issues but also as the history text and the science text as well. It is an established fact that more books are translated into Spanish every year than have been translated into Arabic in all of history.
True education leads to enlightenment and Islam wants no part of enlightenment .
Most Muslims use the public school system as a form of daycare , nothing more. If you realize that there has not been an advancement in science, technology , medicine , etc in 1000 years coming from the Muslim world you’ll understand that education in the Western sense is meaningless to them.
