I think an Islamic museum at Ground Zero dedicated to the half billion victims of jihadi wars, land appropriations, sharia, cultural annihilations, enslavements, and sharia enforcement is an excellent idea, but is that what Sharif El-Gamal has in mind? No.
It is disgusting that El-Gamal continues to taunt and poke America’s most egregious recent memory. El-Gamal was there when we had tens of thousands in the streets opposing his Ground Zero mosque. He knows how angry and upset people get at these Islamic structures are on the site of jihad war.
The 9/11 Muslim terrorists extolled Allah no less than 90 times in their last letters. Will that be on display?
There is an important lesson to be learned here — and one we would be wise to adopt. They never stop. No matter how absolutely they lose, how many setbacks they suffer, they keep on pursuing their supremacist goals.
Ever since we defeated his mosque, Sharif El-Gamal has been threatening to build an Islamic museum. It is appropriate that he would fund it with sharia financing. Sharia, the most brutal and extreme ideology on the face of the earth.
Of course it will require special police protection, because Islamic supremacists will fallaciously claim islamofauxbia threats. You know how that goes. Whack and whine. Kill and cry.
What normal person would want to live there?
“Islamic museum to be built with Sharia-compliant financing on site of failed Ground Zero Mosque,” By Robert Spencer, May 20, 2016:
What a grand idea: a museum that tells the whole story of the bloody conquest and Islamization of the Middle East, North Africa, Persia, India, etc. A museum that tells the truth about Sharia oppression of women and non-Muslims. A museum that finally informs the public about the devastation that jihad and Sharia have wrought upon the world.
Seriously, this museum will do none of that. It will just be a cynical and deceptive whitewash of Islam’s bloody doctrine and history, at the site of one of the most notorious jihad attacks of modern times.
Note also the New York Post’s headline: “Apartments, Islamic museum to be built on site of failed Ground Zero Mosque.” “Failed Ground Zero Mosque”? I can’t tell you how many times, after Pamela Geller and I defeated the Ground Zero Mosque project, that we were contacted by mainstream media reporters asking for comment on the fact that we had “failed,” and that the Park 51 Cultural Center, as the Ground Zero Mosque project organizers called their scheme, had opened despite our efforts.
This is a quintessential example of how deceptive the mainstream media really is. We led protests against the proposed 15-story Islamic mosque, not against their having meetings in the Burlington Coat Factory building that had been extensively damaged on 9/11 and that they had planned to raze in order to build the Ground Zero Mosque; the triumphal mosque was never built, and the project was abandoned. We won. The Ground Zero Mosque organizers then held a few events in the damaged building: this was a tacit admission of defeat, not a victory: the 15-story triumphal mosque was never built, and the “cultural events” they held in the ruined building were no substitute for it. But the media still spun it as a victory for the Ground Zero Mosque project, and indeed, as the opening of the Ground Zero Mosque itself. Only now, several years later, do they admit that the Ground Zero Mosque project failed.
“Apartments, Islamic museum to be built on site of failed Ground Zero Mosque,” by Lois Weiss, New York Post, May 19, 2016:
The developer of the failed Ground Zero Mosque has nailed down “Sharia-compliant financing” for a new, luxury condominium tower and Islamic cultural museum on the same site, he and his banking partners said Wednesday.
The $174 million dollar project features a three-story Islamic cultural museum at 51 Park Place and 48 high-end residential condos in a 43-story tower at 45 Park Place in the Financial District.
The “Sharia-compliant” financing means the deal complies with complex Islamic laws that govern lending and borrowing, including a prohibition against accepting interest or fees for loans.
Manhattan developer Sharif El-Gamal’s 2010 plan for a 15-story Islamic cultural center sparked protests from opponents who dubbed it the “Ground Zero Mosque,” although it was four blocks away.
It was slated to be built on a site that suffered extensive and direct damage on 9/11. As such, that site was part of Ground Zero, and the moniker was apt.
He abandoned that plan in 2011 and there has been little apparent opposition to the smaller museum or the development itself.
The project now includes two multi-story penthouses on the top four floors along with a pool, gym and kids’ playroom.
The deal, finalized Tuesday, was funded by the London branch of Malayan Banking Berhad….
