Texas ISIS-Linked Jihad Plot on AFDI Muhammed Art Exhibit Contest Trial to Begin

54

Jihadists found guilty of sedition and war crimes in the cause of Allah should be given the death penalty. These devout Muslims would have waged jihad elsewhere, on a less protected target, and killed more people.

Kareem’s brother, James Newman, told the AP news agency that his brother never expressed a radical political or religious view to him.

Mr Newman said his brother was a victim of guilt by association with the two gunmen.

Story continues below advertisement

He said: “It probably wasn’t the smartest decision to hang with these guys, but he was probably just building his faith.”

Yes, plotting to kill people for perceived insults  is “building his faith.”

Drawing Muhammad is not illegal under American law, but only under Islamic law. Violence that arises over the cartoons is solely the responsibility of the Islamic jihadists who perpetrate it. Either America will stand now against attempts to suppress the freedom of speech by violence, or will submit and give the violent the signal that we can be silenced by threats and murder.

We cannot submit to the assassin’s veto.

If we surrender on that point and stop drawing Muhammad, we’ve established a precedent of surrendering to violent Sharia enforcement, and once established, we will be made to reinforce it again and again.

“Texas ISIS-Linked Muhammed Cartoon Contest Trial to Begin,” By Lucy Westcott, TIME Magazine, 2/15/16:

The trial of the lone survivor accused of helping to plan a mass shooting at a Muhammed cartoon contest in Texas in May is set to begin later this week, in what is believed to be the first federal trial of someone accused of supporting the Islamic State (ISIS) militant group in the U.S.

What Happened?

On May 3, 2015, Abdul Malik Abdul Kareem, 44, and two other men arrived at a cartoon contest and art exhibit at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas—located around 18 miles northeast of central Dallas. The men, intending to attack the event, brought with them semi-automatic rifles and an ISIS flag. Two of the attackers, Elton Simpson and Nadir Soofi, opened fire on a security guard and died in a shootout with police, while Kareem was arrested.

Why Did They Target the Contest?

The Muhammad Art Exhibit and Contest was billed as an event highlighting free speech, and involved drawing cartoons of the Prophet Muhammed and other subjects, whose representations  are deemed offensive to Muslims. The event was meant to be hosted by Pamela Geller, a prominent blogger and president of the American Freedom Defense Initiative, which a decade after the 9/11 attacks campaigned against a proposed Islamic cultural culture near Ground Zero in New York City, and believes in the “Islamization” of America.

People and organizations with a history of drawing the Prophet Muhammed have previously been targeted by armed Islamists. In addition to the high-profile example of the shootings in Paris at the Charlie Hebdo offices in early 2015, Molly Norris, a cartoonist formerly based in Seattle, went into hiding after she organized an “Everybody Draw Muhammed Day” on her Facebook page in 2010— which included images of Muhammed as a cup of tea and a spool of thread.

Kareem, Soofi and Simpson became radicalized and researched ways to travel to the Middle East to join and fight with ISIS, according to authorities. They also watched violent videos made by jihadists and attempted to procure pipe bombs.
muhammad garland
ISIS claimed responsibility for the attempted attack several days afterwards during a radio broadcast from Raqqa, Syria, the group’s de facto capital. It remains unclear whether the men were inspired by ISIS or responded to direct orders from the group to carry out an attack.

What Charges Does Kareem Face?

Kareem, the owner of a moving company, faces charges including conspiracy to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization, and will appear in a Phoenix court for the first day of his trial on Tuesday. He’s accused of hosting the two deceased gunmen at his house, with whom he allegedly went shooting in the Arizona desert, and supplied the guns that were found at the contest.

pic_giant_050415_SM_Garland-SWAT-Mohammed2_0

Prosecutors also allege that Kareem encouraged the other two men to carry out attacks in the name of ISIS, and looked into buying explosives to attack the University of Phoenix stadium where the Super Bowl was held in 2015.

Prosecutors say that Simpson accessed a list of addresses of U.S. military service members six weeks before the planned attack. The list was allegedly created by ISIS militants, and contained the names of those they wanted to attack. Simpson and Soofi also scoped out Arizona military buildings and discussed the possibility of attacking a base.

Simpson also contacted jihadists belonging to ISIS and other groups through social media and exchanged messages with one person in the days leading up to the attack, FBI Director James Comey said in December. However, the 109 messages sent between Simpson and his contact couldn’t be accessed because they were encrypted, he added.

By the end of 2015, more than 60 people were charged with terrorism-related offences by the Justice Department—a record number.

What Does Kareem Say About All This?

Kareem denies the allegations against him. His defense lawyer, Daniel Maynard, previously attempted to get evidence against him thrown out, saying that he was distressed from diabetes when he spoke with FBI agents in two voluntary interviews in 2015.

Maynard also said evidence found on Kareem’s computer should be disregarded, as it was illegally collected from a search warrant pertaining to Kareem’s roommate, and not Kareem. The case, Maynard argued, is largely based on information provided by an unreliable and confidential informant.

Kareem changed his name from his birth name, Decarus Lowell Thomas, to his current name in 2013 and has been a Muslim throughout his adult life, according to the Associated Press. He was previously known to law enforcement, having first been interviewed in a 2011 terrorism investigation. Authorities found al-Qaeda material on Kareem’s laptop and on a flash drive, although he denied the latter belonged to him.

That is a very good idea. If the u.n wasn’t such a bunch of toadies to islam, it could come up with a legitimate “adopt a Yazidis” type of program of something similar to actually help victims of islam’s senseless perverted violence.

The antics of the white mosque’s imam are well known and condoned by the islamic “clergy”. In order for hussain to be effective wt what he is doing, he is allowed to practice the tenets of islam that pertain to lying and deceit, very likely with emphasis on: • Darura: deceit through necessity (to engage in something “Haram” or forbidden).[9]
• Muruna: the temporary suspension of Sharia in order that Muslim immigrants appear “moderate.” So through the principle of Hijra (Muslim Immigration), the early Muslims are a “red herring” or a Trojan Horse. The Kafir or Kuffar community gets the false sense that the early immigrants are not a threat, at least until the Muslim community has gained strength.[10]

UK Government Plans to Block Boycott of Israeli Goods and Products

By Breitbart Jerusalem15 Feb 201654

The International Business Times reports:

A senior UK minister is expected to announce plans of a government attempt to prevent local authorities from
participating in the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) Movement against Israel.

Under the new guidance, NHS trusts, councils, universities, student unions, and other public bodies will be prevented from boycotting foods and products from Israel.

Matthew Hancook, Cabinet Officer Minister, will provide details of the new regulations during a visit to Israel this week.

The new legislation will reportedly make it easier for the government to challenge organisations that boycott Israel, with the plans first being announced in October 2015 ahead of the Tory Party annual conference.

Coming up on a year ago I started drawing cartoons for this contest. Since then I’ve seen Planned Parenthood sell babies for parts, Jihadi terrorist attacks all over, and a patriot just slaughtered by FBI. I read and hear people stay safe. We’re going to have to get beyond that and go where angels fear to tread, and realize the only security is in where your eternal soul will reside. Political parties are a joke. The militia, or 3%ers, are having members join fast as they see this as only solution, and I agree. Depending on where you live in the world will determine your best course of action, or group to join. The problems seem insurmountable, as are many, and its going to take fighting on many levels to achieve success. Everyone wants to have a single platform, but this leads nowhere. If you aren’t versed in the diversity of problems, you get labeled and ignored, and put in a box. Britain First’s speakers just got arrested for handing out leaflets. You put your own shoes on in the morning, and you have to walk in them. Be prepared to suffer more at the hands of evil doers, just remember that is the only way to smoke them out. The 3%ers look after each other, and that is what is necessary. Hope Pam and Robert put on another contest I can go to again. Brad

“Be prepared to suffer more at the hands of evil doers”

Nothing personal, but that attitude is what we need to reverse. Chuck Norris had an attitude of winning. He didn’t think about what his opponent would try to do to him. All he thought about was what he was going to do to his opponent. Chuck Norris was ranked #1 in the world in point and full contact karate. Maybe there’s something we can learn from that.

You’re right in the aspect of forward motion. You’re right in the aspect of not worrying about what the other side’s propaganda is. I don’t think I worded what I meant very well, I meant there is going to be conflict, and loss until we regain upper hand. That turn around is just beginning, and will take some time to organize. Apparently there is a difference between 3%ers and iiipercenters. I’m trying tom figure it out, but 3%ers seem to be passive and stationary and iiipercenters are proactive. Any help sorting this out would be appreciated by all watching. Proactive is what is necessary, but some seem a little over the top. Its going to take a lot of integration to achieve results on a broad spectrum. I’m dialoging with Act for America groups, but they just legislate and leave the carrying out to others. This isn’t going to work as law enforcement is selective in its approach. There is an old saying from the 1960’s protests that I’ve never forgotten, Don’t Send Someone Else To The Front Line Of A War Your Not Willing To Go And Stand On That Same Front Line. It was a way of exposing armchair warriors, something we haven’t seen the end of. Knights Templar International is gaining ground and others are as well. If anyone has direct experience, I hope they share so we all will be able to decide best approach to forward progress. Brad

Ninety percent or so of these “lone wolves” are designated as such with all the implications of plausible deniability and appeal of random acts of violence by the odumber administration and leftist media and yet the perpetrators and their benefactors have no trouble identifying themselves as orthodox islamists or those who follow islamic sharic and jihad to the “t” as stated in their kookran and simply doing what it says – kill or subjugate non-muslims.

Many of these perpetrators also are disaffected black criminals who also hate the united states and go to a mosque a short time and maybe even train there, change their name to mohammed or shafiq, and proceed to deal death and violence to the best of their cult ability. Most of them are ignorant lowlifes and/or career criminals and easily brainwashed into committing violence against the west and also in most cases, its not that different from their past lives of crime – just more focused in killing guided by their cult theocracy. If they do realize the fallacies of the kookran they simply use it to suit their criminal lowlife purposes.

Thus, both sides, “lone wolf” lowlifes and islamics, use each other in the name of the islamic cult attempting to cause insurrection and commit terrorism towards the west but they continue feeding the “legality pc game” with the term “lone wolf”.
