“America’s Stasi: NYDN Applauds Jihad Slaughter in San Bernardino,” By Pamela Geller, Breitbart News, December 6, 2015
In a new low even for the New York Daily News, which recently branded NRA chief Wayne LaPierre a terrorist, columnist Linda Stasi has penned a vile column justifying the San Bernardino jihad murders, saying that one of the victims was “the male equivalent of Pamela Geller.”
Just as the jihad attack on our free speech event in Garland, Texas last May exposed the RINOs and posers on the right such as Donald Trump, Bill O’Reilly, and Laura Ingraham who, cowed by Islamic violence, blamed us for the attempted mass murder, so now the San Bernardino jihad attack is exposing the leftist who cheerlead for jihad murder – as long the victims are “right-wingers.”
After the Daily News mocked G-d and the prayers that many of the GOP candidates expressed for the victims and their families, you would think they would be more careful and even contrite. No such luck. And even the supposedly conservative site Hot Air went over to the dark side, posting Stasi’s piece without comment.
Linda Stasi has an appropriate last name: the Stasi was the notoriously brutal East German secret police. Back in the 1960s, Stasi agents staged anti-Semitic attacks inside West Germany in an attempt to discredit the West German government.
The Stasi blamed the Jews. This Stasi is blaming the Messainic Jew who was murdered by the San Bernardino jihadis. “The victim,” Stasi wrote, “is also inaccurately being eulogized as a kind and loving religious man. Make no mistake, as disgusting and deservedly dead as the hate-filled fanatical Muslim killers were, Thalasinos was also a hate-filled bigot. Death can’t change that. But in the U.S., we don’t die for speaking our minds. Or we’re not supposed to anyway.”
Ah, there it is: “We have freedom of speech but…” In Stasi’s mind, she and her ilk should have the freedom of speech to spew the most disgusting hatred toward those whom they hate, but their victims should not have the same right.
“That wife radicalized him and fueled his hatred. The FBI is investigating her ties to Al Qaeda and ISIS. Go to the Middle East, meet your new wife, meet some terror leaders, begin your wedded bliss back in the USA.” The wife radicalized him? Says who? What proof is there? The husband, Syed Rizwan Farook, was an open supporter of the Islamic State (ISIS). Both Farook and his wife were vile human beings. They found each other and became united in murder and bloodlust. Islam cubed.
But for Stasi, their victim, Nicholas Thalasinos, was just as bad, because he was a conservative. Robert Spencer writes:
Her equivalence founders, of course, on the simple and titanic fact that Farook was a mass murderer, while Thalasinos was never going to kill anyone. But in her madness to justify the San Bernardino jihad murders, Stasi doesn’t bother to mention that….Why does Stasi believe that Pamela Geller is a hate-filled bigot, the equivalent of Syed Rizwan Farook? Because she has put her life on the line calling attention to and opposing the Islamic hatred and bloodlust that leads to the San Bernardino jihad murders and other jihad mass murders. If Pamela Geller’s warnings had been heeded, Nicholas Thalasinos and the other San Bernardino victims might be alive today. But they were not heeded, because of the relentless demonization that has been carried out for years against her, and continues to be, by people like Linda Stasi and her accomplices in the mainstream media.
A police officer on the scene in San Bernardino said: “It was unspeakable the carnage that we were seeing.” Stasi says they had it coming. They did not submit to the blasphemy laws under the Sharia. When jihadis drove 1000 miles to open fire on our free speech event in Garland, Stasi’s headline was: “Stasi: With Pamela Geller’s Prophet Muhammad cartoon stunt in Texas, hate rears its ugly face again.” She wrote: “Looks like Pamela Geller will get her wish: More dead Americans at the hands of radical Muslims. Hell, the hatemonger finally even got ISIS to pay attention to her.” Looks like Stasi got her wish in San Bernardino.
Americans, take heed. Know that if you are slaughtered in the cause of Allah, whether it be at a Christmas party, schoolroom, mall, or concert hall, cannibals like Stasi will work furiously to unearth some justification, any excuse to exonerate the jihad doctrine and declare that you had it coming.
