Has Obama learned anything from this or from the scores of Gitmo enemy combatants who return to jihad after their release? Of course not; he is sympathetic to the jihad cause.
The Obama administration announced that President Obama would veto a defense authorization bill if it did not close down Guantanamo Bay. White House press secretary Josh Earnest explained that the House funding bill would be vetoed “principally because…of the irresponsible way that it funds our national defense priorities, but also because of the efforts to prevent the closure [of] the prison at Guantanamo Bay.” He added that Democrats would sustain Obama’s veto, and defense authorization would die. President Obama does not fear defunding America’s national security. On the contrary, he holds our security hostage to advance his anti-American, radical agenda.

A terror suspect given £1million compensation by Britain after he was freed from Guantanamo Bay has fled to join Islamic State.
Muslim convert Jamal al-Harith was awarded the payout after being released from the US military jail in 2004.
The suspected Taliban sympathiser was flown to the notorious camp in Cuba and locked up after being captured in Afghanistan by US troops in March 2002.
But after intense campaigning by Tony Blair’s government, British citizen al-Harith – who had pleaded his innocence – was let out two years later.
He launched a compensation claim on the grounds British agents knew or were complicit in his mistreatment and was handed up to £1million of taxpayers’ money to stay silent.
But last night it emerged that, despite security services being fully aware of his previous detention, al-Harith was able to escape the UK 18 months ago to fight with IS in Syria. His journey has been revealed following an escape from IS-controlled Syria last month by British mother Shukee Begum and her five children.
Channel 4 News disclosed that Miss Begum, 33, is married to al-Harith, and had flown to the war-torn country to try to persuade the fanatic to return to the UK.
However, her attempts failed, and she endured a ten-month ordeal being passed between hostages and rebel groups as she tried to escape.
She reached safety last month when she was rescued by Al Qaeda-linked group Al Nusra.
Last night questions were raised as to how al-Harith was able to leave the UK to join IS and how his wife was able to follow him, placing doubt on the Government’s ability to effectively monitor terror suspects. It is not known if any limits were placed on al-Harith’s travel. Fresh questions were also raised about the preparations put in place by the security services ahead of the return of Shaker Aamer, the last British resident in Guantanamo.
The father-of-four, 48, is set to be freed by the end of the month but his release has been delayed for at least eight years amid allegations the US is concerned about Britain’s ability to monitor terror suspects.
Mr Aamer, who has been held without trial or charge for almost 14 years, was seized in Afghanistan in 2001. He denies accusations that he was a key aide of Osama Bin Laden.
At the time of al-Harith’s release, then home secretary David Blunkett said: ‘No one who is returned … will actually be a threat to the security of the British people.’
How does the clueless and compromised British government propose to accomplish that?
In a newspaper interview after his release al-Harith, who insisted he had been tortured, said: ‘It was very, very hard times, but I tried to think about nothing but survival.’
Born Ronald Fiddler, he turned to Islam in the 1990s and changed his name to Jamal Udeen al-Harith….
Yet another convert to Islam misunderstands his peaceful new religion, and British authorities have no curiosity about why that keeps happening at all.

That’s my thinking. We need to give them a taste of their own medicine and stop treating them with kids gloves! The starting point is death sentence for all of them, no more wasting of tax payers money on keeping them in Gitmo!

Will the GOP ever get tough with this pretender in the White House, or will they continue giving him whatever the hell he wants? Even his butt-boy Josh Earnest is now lecturing the GOP on who their next Speaker should be. I’ve never seen anything like the current crop of gut-less wonders in the Republican Party. Truly pathetic.

Amen, Rat. We handed the Repubs a landslide in November, and they’ve repaid us with a non-stop finger in the eye. Now they are LIVID because we dare to push back.
It’s so close to the proverbial tipping point. All it’s going to take is one more wrong, traitorous move on the part of the Repubs, and I could see things going south…in a very destructive way.
Think hard, Repubs. The conservatives are the last, best hope you have left. If you sand-bag their efforts to set things to rights, a less patient, less friendly group will step in…and you can ask the French aristocracy how well that went.

“Has Obama learned anything…” makes the assumption that these are mistakes or oversights or bad planning on his part.
Obama is many things, stupid isn’t one of them. He knows EXACTLY what he’s doing. He is, in fact (and unfortunately), the most successful President in our history. Sadly, he’s not on our side.

At least 97 killed in twin bombings near train station in Turkey’s capital

powerful bombs exploded near the main train station in Ankara on Saturday morning, targeting a peace rally and causing carnage, killing at least 97 people and injuring more than 400 others in the deadliest attack in the Turkish capital in recent memory.
The explosions, which caused chaos and bloodshed, took place during a peace
march involving, among others, the pro-Kurdish HDP, or People’s Democratic Party.
The casualties, reported by the interior ministry, consisted primarily of people gathered outside the main train station to attend a lunchtime demonstration to call for an end to the renewed conflict between the Kurdistan Workers Pary (PKK) and the Turkish government.
About 14,000 people were in the area. Two suicide bombers are believed to have caused the blasts, Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said in a televised address to the nation.

Obama is more than sympathetic to Muslims. He’s is a Muslim. Does anyone know about his background, his childhood and his true religion. He imposters as a Christian. We know his mother was an atheist and his father and step-father were Muslims. Does two and two add up to four?

Why take prisoners? Spend millions on them by building prisons, salaries for prison guards, feed them, build place for worship and give them a koran and then release them to turn against non-muslims. Kill them as muslims do not take prisoners except for ransom.
By the way love America, but why is America against the Russians who are doing a good job in Syria. Not those isis are on the run and a plane load of them have escaped to Libya.

It is entirely possible, what with the way Obama operates, that he wants the Gitmo caps closed so he can give the whole of Guantanamo to the Castro brothers—so they can turn around and lease it to the Russians or the Chinese or to the Persians. Anything is possible with Obama., anything at all, no matter how outlandish.

Pamela, you know I have been a devotee of yours since 9/11. However I do not know why you dislike Donald Trump. Could you not get over it? He seems to me to be the only unafraid candidate, just as you are. Can you not get over your dislike of him so that we might together fight those who gang up on us. Many think you are a wild cat. Many think he is a wild cat. Can you not put this strength together. I do not understand why you don’t. YOU together would be a winning team.

Trump attacked us after Garland. He blamed us when jihadis tried to kill us. If a Presidential candidate doesn’t stand up for the first amendment, I cannot support him/her.
