Ahmed the clockmeister and an ‘Islamophobia’ scam
Exclusive: Pamela Geller pulls plug on teen’s ‘suspicious-looking object’
Story continues below advertisementThe “Islamophobia” scam machine is in high gear: Ahmed Mohamed, the Muslim teen who was arrested after causing alarm and fear for bringing a device that resembled a bomb to school, is being heralded as “the most famous teenager on earth.”
One of the more interesting factoids from the many simpering, boot-licking press accounts of Ahmed the poor bomb hoax clockmeister: “Before we left for the television studio, Ahmed had taken me into his bedroom to show me the now-famous desk where everything gets built. I asked if I could take a picture; he nodded and sat on his desk chair holding up a tangle of wires, and, seeing his Koran, grabbed it from his desk and held it up next to the wires.”
The Daily Beast didn’t run that photo. But if the teen is such a devout Muslim, and then he brings this suspicious-looking object to school, it should give the school concern, should it not?
His father, a long-time Islamophobia huckster, told the press: “My kid was hurt and was tortured and arrested and mistreated in front of his friends inside of the school.”
Needless to say, the Mohamed family has retained a CAIR spokes-supremacist, who never leaves their side. Alia Salem of Hamas-CAIR told a reporter: “The only real news I have for you is that Ahmed’s not going back to MacArthur.” Then Salem added: “But, we’re about to drive to the television studio in a minute. Why don’t you come along? Sit next to Ahmed, you can ask him your questions.”
This is CAIR’s wet dream, and a 14-year-old’s, no doubt. Obama has invited him to the White House, MIT wants him, Twitter offered him an internship, Stephen Colbert and Ellen DeGeneres have called, and it just keeps going. When asked, “Ever heard that phrase, ’15 minutes of fame?,’” Ahmed responded, “This is gonna be soooooo much longer.”
Meanwhile, the school is trying to contain this expanding public relations disaster, releasing a photo of Ahmed’s clock, showing how it did, indeed, resemble a bomb, and saying: “Perhaps upon release of that photo there may be a little bit different perception about what took place, and people might have a better understanding of how we were doing everything with an abundance of caution to protect all of our students in Irving.”
How naive. As if the media gives a flying fig about what really happened. They have their Islamofauxbia narrative, and they are going to club their readers like baby seals.
If Ahmed hadn’t been a Muslim, this story would never have seen the light of day. Ahmed is not at a disadvantage because he’s Muslim: On the contrary, as the reaction from Obama and the fawning media shows, he’s privileged.
Now it has even come to light that Ahmed Mohamed didn’t even build his famous clock at all. The Right Scoop reports that “he took apart an existing clock, and transplanted the guts into a pencil box, and claimed it was his own creation. … I refer back again to this YouTube video interview with Ahmed. He explains that he closed up the box with a piece of cord because he didn’t want it to look suspicious. I’m curious, why would “looking suspicious” have even crossed his mind before this whole event unfolded, if he was truly showing off a hobby project, something so innocuous as an alarm clock. Why did he choose a pencil box, one that looks like a miniature briefcase no less, as an enclosure for a clock? It’s awful hard to see the clock with the case closed.”
And Irving, Texas police officer James McLellan said, when asked about his object, Ahmed “kept maintaining it was a clock, but there was no broader explanation” about why he had built it and brought it to school, and why it was beeping in the middle of his English class if, as he later explained, he had brought it in to show to an engineering teacher.
“I know you know the story and the world knows the story,” Ahmed’s father has said. “But we will repeat it and repeat it until justice is done.”
Justice? Really? But Irving Police Chief Larry Boyd has tried to meet with Ahmed’s father to talk about the incident, but the Islamophobia huckster has refused, even though he has always been available for reporters.
And Irving Independent School District Communications Director Lesley Weaver said there is more to the story, but it cannot be released without a privacy waiver from the family: “All they have to do is sign a release form and we’ll be able to give a different perspective of what happened that day in the classroom and the hours following.”
But Ahmed’s family won’t discuss a privacy waiver. However, they have had the time to set up an #IStandWithAhmed GoFundMe page, and the cash is rolling in.
Every detail makes it clearer that the whole thing was a set-up, designed to make officials afraid to report Muslims with suspicious objects. Ahmed Mohamed’s clock will make us all less safe.

Was anyone under the impression that he mined the copper and spun it into wires, drilled the oil for the plastics and fabricated them himself, etc? This is how engineers generally get their start, taking things apart, seeing how they work, and putting them back together in novel ways. I agree that the backlash against the school administration has been too harsh, but you’re crossing the line into just being a dick to a schoolboy who probably didn’t mean to cause any shitstorm.

He took a mass produced clock and changed its case.
If i took the internal components of an iphone and put it in a new case that does not mean that I built an Iphone.

Quartz, Eelectrical and Digital clocks have been invented decades ago to fit into a Swatch.and smaller…this whole clock is simple a set up, the kids father was called a USEFUL IDIOT trying to defend Islam and Sharia against a much smarter Robert Spencer, so the kid’s father tried really hard and finally it worked and 1 teacher acted and set the whole islamophobia hoax in place…so if it wouldn’t be the case that plenty of Muslim school children are blown to pieces in schools around the Muslim world with exactly this kind of set up plus some 300g of plastic explosives …Sunni Clerics told his follwoers that blowing up a school bus full Shia children get him the 72 virgins and an eternal erection in muslim paradise..

Pamela, that’s a great article. But WND is a echo chamber for the non-Dhimmi conservative. Have you tried submitting this article to any newspapers? Even a third tier city paper will reach more people if it online presence can be linked.

Why don’t Arman (the father of that Muslim kid) who ran for president in North-Sudan twice explaines that North-sudan the state given to Muslims by the US-EU regime to award Al-Bashir’s Jihad condones slavery of real Africans as invented by white Muhammad?
Muhammad invented the slavery of Africans by proclaiming that his deity colored them black so their descendants would be slaves to Arabs & Turks, declaring Arabs & Turks master race & Africans slave race. He had African slaves, was white & dreamed about a pederast paradise with only whites. Abeed means slave or African in Arabic. The law of freedom of religion can’t be equal or tolerably above the law of human rights & that must be transparently effective, perceivable through all other laws. The law of religious freedom is not a ticket to bend the law of human rights but instead to responsibility to human rights. Freedom of religion is subpositioned, subordinated to the law of human rights & that must be transparently recognizable in law & pedagogy especially when the ideology of the alleged religion is unethically subversive to the main-law of human rights in which case the candidate religion must be banned. Human rights is the best religion.
Children with Islamic background need to learn that it’s not just ok, but courages & righteous, ethical to discriminate against Muhammad’s sick doctrine, just as Jihadist terrorists & Sharia Islamic governments, disrespecting human rights (the new religion) must feel the enforcement of the law of human rights of the new human rights & ecology government, just as ‘Islam means peace’ normed & hypnotized fascists need to feel the might of a new radical, radical is the opposite of simulating & thus powerful government dedicated to ethics, to human rights, ecology & not to Islamic fascism, or simulation of ethics.

This was NOT an “invention” or any other creative idea that this kid came up with. Take a good long look at the device. It is a digital clock, that has been taken out of it’s case and put in a suitcase to look like a bomb. The circuit board is a manufactured piece, not something that the transistors and processor were attached by hand, as would be indicative of a true “invention”. As proof I offer the presence of the 9 volt battery back up provision, as most clocks come with, in case of a power outage, so that resetting the clock would not be necessary. The power cord is still attached, as it was manufactured in the original device. If the kid had put some sort of solar panel on the outside of the case to power it, then maybe, just maybe, he would get credit for some ingenuity, but this was assembled to create panic and draw criticism because of his muslim beliefs, I would say with his father’s direction to make a lawsuit case and or attempt to discourage other teachers and staff of taking action when other muslim students bring similar “projects” to school. That is until one of these cultists muslims blows up a classroom full of kids and it’s too late.

On a side note… I see that there is a gofundme account for this person. As I recall, other accounts were immediately shut down to avoid political undertones. It would be very advantageous if a campaign began to shut this one down as well, His father is touting the money will give him/his child the greatest of advantages…time to shut it DOWN.

What part is wrong?
1. His father is a professional Muslim activist and race baiter.
2. The kid took apart an already invented and manufactured clock with a few twists of a screwdriver and then put it into a pencilbox, small briefcase, with only the timer showing on the outside. (looks like a bomb. I’ve seen many actual bombs that are constructed this way. Just move on cable and add explosive and this IS a bomb). He did not invent or even slightly innovate. What he did was follow his fathers instructions to create a fake Islamophobia event.
3. He was instructed to keep the device hidden by his engineering teacher, as it looked like a bomb. He did not keep it hidden, but instead displayed it and set it to go off in English class.
4. The Quran and Hadith instruct Muslims to use deceit in warfare, for “Allah is the greatest deceiver”.
5. the Quran, Hadith and Sunnah of Muhammad, all instruct believers, with only the physically crippled excused, to “kill the unbelievers wherever you find them”. Ahmed and his father are devout muslim scum.
6. Result: Nobody was oppressed. Instead, money, attention, political power, and scholarships are now being thrown at a truly non-exceptional child (except for how outrageous his behavior is).
Which part of that is the “racist Nazi” part?

This is a serious story that the Left ran with. It is not okay for a kid to arrive at school with something that looks like a bomb. The initial teacher who saw it should’ve said that something like that needed to be immediately taken home. If the kid wanted praise for his project give it to him but send the project home. PERIOD. Obviously this was an intentional set-up and a serious one. Not one to be laughed at or dismissed or one that places blame on police or authority. Peoples lives are at stake when bombs are set off. Myself, I have no compassion for the kid. He wasn’t smart to take something like that to school. If it was a “for real” clock project he could’ve taken a digital picture of it and sent it to his teacher on his school e-mail.
