Newsweek: Pamela Geller, the Woman ISIS Wants Dead

92

In my last few interviews, the enemedia asks for my own posthumous remarks. They are evil.

“Pamela Geller, the Woman ISIS Wants Dead,” By Matthew Lysiak, Newsweek, May 8, 2015

After organizing the contest for Prophet Muhammad cartoons, Geller has drawn scorn from all sides. Mike Stone/Reuters

After organizing the contest for Prophet Muhammad cartoons in Garland, Texas, where two men opened fire, the conservative blogger has drawn scorn from both sides of the aisle and made her way to the top of an ISIS hit list. Geller is promising more controversial events like the one in Texas. While many are calling her an Islamophobic provocateur, Geller calls herself a freedom of speech champion.

Few would argue about your right to draw any cartoons you wish, but isn’t it just bad manners? Why insult a religion? Why not make your point in a way that doesn’t offend people?

The point was not to insult a religion. It was not I, but the jihadis, who made Muhammad cartoons the flashpoint for the defense of the freedom of speech. If they had announced that they were going to kill non-Muslims for not obeying any other element of Shariah law, we would have made our stand on that. They are trying to intimidate free people into submitting to Shariah blasphemy laws by killing over the cartoons, so it was over the cartoons that we had to make a stand.

All cultures have contributed in their own way to making their imprint on America. What, specifically, is wrong with the Islamization of America.

The problem with Islamization in America specifically involves the aspects of Shariah that conflict with principles of human rights and constitutional freedoms. I stand for the freedom of speech, the freedom of conscience, the equality of rights of all before the law, and individual rights. I oppose the elements of Shariah that deny the freedom of speech, the freedom of conscience, the equality of rights of women, non-Muslims, and gays, etc.

Do you attribute the violence in the Muslim community to an extremist faction within the religion? Or do you view this as deeper problem involving the core worldview inherent in Islam?

The Islamic jihadists refer to the texts and teachings of Islam—the Koran and the example of Muhammad—to justify their actions and make recruits among peaceful Muslims. Those Muslims who reject that understanding of Islam are not doing anything to combat it. There is, for example, not a single program in any mosque or Islamic school in the U.S. to teach young Muslims to reject the Islamic State’s understanding of Islam. With the Islamic State [ISIS] energetically recruiting young Muslims in the U.S., that is a significant omission.

Since you have been calling out Muslim extremists for violence and intolerance for years, what, if anything, surprised you about the violent reaction to the contest? Or was it expected?

I have been working in defense of freedom since 9/11. I always have security because I understand the threat. This art exhibit was no exception. I was aware that something could happen (something can always happen)—that’s why we spent tens of thousands of dollars on security. People say I was hoping for an attack or trying to provoke one—that’s a repulsive libel. I was standing for the freedom of speech against violent intimidation. In doing so, I knew the risks and took them into account, and our security measures worked: The jihadis were prevented from entering the event and committing mass murder.

Does anyone think that these two jihadists would have lived quiet lives as peaceable and loyal Americans if we hadn’t held the contest? They would have waged jihad elsewhere, on a less-protected target, and killed more people. The jihadists were the end of the line. By drawing them out, we exposed their network. And because we secured the perimeter, we were able to expose the network without getting anyone killed. The FBI can now go after the sources. They are gleaning intel from their computers as we speak. We smoked out a terror structure. This was a watershed.

ISIS has made a clear terrorist threat against your life. What kind of support, or protection, have you received from the federal government? What kind of contact have you had? Are your children protected?

I have no comment on security issues, for obvious reasons.

Could you elaborate on the nature of the death threats you have received from ISIS? Were there others that the public doesn’t know about? If possible, please go into depth and be specific.

I have received many death threats over the years. Some have been made public, and some haven’t. The Islamic State threat is a matter of particular concern because they have made clear their intention to strike in the U.S. and have shown that many Muslims in the U.S. are anxious to heed their call.

If ISIS manages to make good on the threat against your life, will it have been worth it?

Is freedom worth fighting for, worth dying for? I love life, it’s why I do what I do. I do not want to die. But I am not willing to live as a slave. I have fought for freedom for well over a decade now and will continue to do so to my dying breath, with no regrets. There is no other option. Silence is far scarier.

What is next for Pamela Geller? Specifically, do you foresee yourself engaging in future contests or activities to draw cartoons of the prophet?

We have been holding events like this for years. I think that more events like the one in Garland have to be staged, or the jihadis will get the message (again) that terrorism works, violent intimidation works, threats work.

If we surrender on that point and stop drawing Muhammad, we’ve established a precedent of surrendering to violent Shariah enforcement, and once established, we will be made to reinforce it again and again.

Everyone seems so eager to surrender. I never will.

Really? Bad manners? Will the media equally criticize the Isalmofascistas for eating Christian livers with the wrong fork? Or, holding the knife wrong while cutting off heads?

Bad manners… pffft!

The MSM is loosing viewers by the boat load. And rightly so.

As long as “free speech” means “free speech, but”, the MSM will continue its death spiral.

Fantastic coverage, Pamela. your message is getting out. Your all over the media. NEWSWEEK. Fantastic. The PR is great. You now have thousands of new people viewing your blog daily.

No such thing as bad PR.

CAIR couldnt generate this type of PR in a hundred years, they must be pissed, and sh*tting in their pants about how much coverage you have received. And how many new people you are exposing to the real truth of islam .

Pamela,
I hope that you can find venues. I’m quite concerned that bans on such events or venues’ refusals to host these freedom of speech events will be problematic. I hope that concerns are unfounded.

RalphB
RalphB

The Supreme Court has specifically ruled against the “hecklers” (a.k.a. the murderer’s) veto as a legitimate reason to deny equal free-speech rights to any party merely because someone threatens to do harm. Of course this applies to public facilities — private venues can discriminate on the basis of security concerns, but why would they, any more than they would refuse to allow the President to use their venue merely because he is always a target. Obviously, they trust the security arrangements, right? And Ms. Geller has been a target for a long time but still stands proudly whole, along with her colleagues and supporters.

Some may refuse to host her events, but it won’t be out of any genuine security concerns — that will merely be one of the excuses, to go with the “hate speech” and “incitement” excuses. I wouldn’t worry about it.

Wonder how many venues will now host Geller and her gang of racists? I mean they might but the cost of renting the potential building that might be destroyed by a car bomb, IED or the legal liability of a possible massacre inside the building might make many land lords a bit gun shy to rent to this nut case who thinks a Fatwa is going to make her rich but more than likely is not going to bring her anything but grief! I know one thing anyone within 100′ of this nut case is in danger of not living to a ripe old age! I guess she can rant and rave till her fate is decided by herself or her enemies, am so glad I live a quiet, peaceful life and find no joy in hate, racism!

Who is more racist than Muslims. They are so racist that just want to kill anyone that is not Muslim. You R. Hill are very ignorant of the facts. This actually includes also moderate and peaceful Muslims. In Pakistan foe example 85% of all Muslims support death penalty for apostasy, yet to convert Christian is not even an offence. This clearly points out that great majority of Muslims are intolerant racist against anyone that is not Muslim

From the article:
//”I think that more events like the one in Garland have to be staged, or the jihadis will get the message (again) that terrorism works, violent intimidation works, threats work.”//

This for me is the essence. It was explained in the book of Lee Harris; “The suicide of Reason” (maybe HE can explain it again in public).

If in whatever context violent intimidation WORKS, IS SUCCESSFULL, then it is only logical that unscrupulous people (the same ones or others!) will use it more, or ALSO. This goes for gangster, oppressive dictators, secret services etc.

When jihadi’s murdered 12 cartoonists at Charlie Hebdo, in the context of much prior intimidation, many prior threats and fatwa’s, by “extremist Muslims” forbidding writings, cartoons that were against Shariah,

a strategy or tactic of violent intimidation was perpetrated by them.

The big questions after that seems to me: Did it work?! and: Who profited?
Many argue it did work, in the sense that the forbidden writing, satires, cartoons etc in question were since much less published, done, written, drawn than they could have been. And that the same denigration, ridicule on all other religions, lifestyles, groups, persons goes on impeded, especially among Muslims in Islamic countries + communities.

And who profited? Islam, did it not? And all Muslims love Islam above all else and want it to “win”. So they too profited, didn’t they?

According to Lee Harris, the best reaction to violent intimidators, “bullies”, is to make them understand that “intimidation does not pay, or is counter-productive”.

That way they have less incentives to do it again, get less support, more opposition and will do it less. And so in the long run there will be many LESS deaths by violent intimidation where this reaction is practiced enough.

So in case the verdict is that violent intimidation by Jihadi’s DID WORK, the strategy by Pamela Geller to let Islam and all Muslims but especially the Jihadi’s pay a price, instead of “rewarding” them by adapting to them, is the best strategy in the long run.

Of course, now it SEEMS, to so many, as if “innocent Muslims” get their feelings hurt and that that is unjust.

But, while ordinary Muslims indeed are to be considered innocent of conscious complicity with violent intimidation of (potential) detractors of Islam, But if it works and Islam because of THAT prospers, wins more, then it seems to ALL MUSLIMS prophit. And Muslims should not want to win with such foul play.

And when in future violent intimidation byJihadi’s is always met by more detraction of Islam and not less, what will the reaction of the non-Jihadi “normal” Muslims be???

They can always react in verbal, non-violent legal ways, and so restore balance, but in response to the jihadi’s among them, they might point how counterproductive, for Islam and all Muslims, violent intimidation is and how they, the “normal Muslims” too hate it and are against it.

And I already heard that Muslims in Holland are starting a campaign in which they say that “violence perpetrated in the name of Islam is much worse for the reputation of Islam than the public showing of “in Islam forbidden, hurtful” cartoons or writings are.

Don’t forget, Greg Gutfeld and Megyn Kelly.

Kelly actually took O’Reilly to the wood shed on his own show by saying to the narcissistic bloviator’s face: “You know what else offends jihadis, Bill? Jews. They hate Jews. Should we get rid of all of our Jews?” It was a Megyn Moment. All the bloviator could say in response was a lame and stupid: “Well, I would have done it a different way.” [Really, Bill?] Lame and stupid sum him up. He has never had the balls to show any of the cartoons on air and has not had either Robert Spencer or Pamela Geller on his show to discuss the Garland jihad attack.

But Bloviating Bill has had that Muslim Brotherhood snake Ibrahim Hooper from CAIR on his show multiple times and called him a “stand-up guy.” So much for the “spin stops here” and “looking out for the folks” bullshit. I bet the blowhard is hard at work on a new book called: “Killing Freedom”

The Garland event not only exposed a jihadi network, it also exposed the quislings and traitors at Fox News. On the side of capitulation to Jihad, Shepard Smith, O’Reilly, Ingraham, McCallum, Rivera, and van Susteren.

On the side of America and freedom: Megyn Kelly, Greg Gutfeld, Howard Kurtz, Sean Hannity, everyone on The Five except for the clueless Juan Williams and the morning show crowd except for the airhead McCallum.

I just like to state a few facts. Muslim religion is intolerant, not only DAESH (ISIS). Look at respected Muslim countries, they all oppress women. Many countries like even ones we regard as respected ones Pakistan, Saudi Arabia have death penalty for apostasy. Yet to convert a Christian is not even an offence. In addition what I am even more concerned with is that for example 85% of Muslims (they should be moderate, or are only other 15% moderate Muslims) support this death penalty. Another fact: We allow Muslims to build mosques in the West, yet Christian (Philippine) workers in Saudi Arabia have been for about 10 years now, asking for permit to build a church but Saudi Government will not permit to build churches on its territory. Intolerance?/ Please follow up what will happen in Sweden that will have Muslim majority in about 25 years. I may be dead by then, but I can predict that sharia laws will follow!

But that still gives Muslims no right not having anyone anywhere mocking their prophet!

I would give anything to see the MSM taken down numerous notches to the point of where they have to behave or lose their jobs. I am sick of their crap. In the last several years they have become outright out of control. Not only do they carry water for the admin, they truly believe that they are important enough, and are entitled to be part of the decision making process of governing our country, our laws, our beliefs.

I am so sick of their agendas and their role in taking over the country. We must stop the media, it begins w/them and it should end w/them. Look what they have done w/the whole LBGT garbage. The entire country is being forced to change for 3% or less of the population, everything from marriage, cakes, to toilet seats. I don’t hate gays, but I hate having their issues shoved every minute of the day down our throats. These people are not the gays I grew up with, which were very live and let live type people. They are part of the agenda to destroy this country.

The MSM is doing the same thing w/islam except I don’t believe this time around the America people will stand for it, or put up w/it like they have the gay nonsense.

What does crack me up is these fools truly believe that if they side w/islam they will be safe. Appeasement never works w/muslims, and they simply are not bright enough to see or figure that out. Payback is such a bitch.

I am surprised by the actions of people like Bill O’Reilly Donald Trump and Juan Williams and other so called media stars with the exception of Geraldo nothing he says surprises me. Martha MacCallum and others that are either cowards or fail to understand why the position they take only encourages a bully and murdering thugs. they are just behind in understanding the threat. Bill bloviates a lot about fighting the terrorist across the pond but fails to see the danger that is present right in this nation and growing every day. There should be a contest like this held everyday in cities all across this nation till the killers and those that support them by silence understand we will not be enslaved and will not be silenced by backward killers trying to force us to knell.

Remember Ted Rall’s cartoon that referred to Condoleeza Rice as “Bush’s house nigga”? Don’t remember even a blip by the MSM. It’s a sad day in America when we not only have to fight terrorism but liberal apologists who would sooner sacrifice liberty rather than offend murderers.

Equating the drawing of cartoons with the chopping off heads is right up the Liberal alley. Logic doesn’t matter. Life and Death doesn’t matter. It’s what Liberals like that matters and the Liberals are our speech police.

All of a sudden through this event of freedom of speech being attacked by the left and freedom of speechphopic dark aged mindset, surely it does help a great deal raising the level of awareness higher concerning the partnership between America and the religion of fruits and peaches the islam. As were announced by barrack in his speech, we only partner with islam base on who they are not who they aren’t . NO, mr. barrack, there is a Constitution of this country that you have to uphold, one is freedom of speech.
Too many Pamela Gellerphopic, too many freedomphopic, especially the moslems, too much femalephopic !

There are two kinds of Liberals in our society:
The ‘peaceful’ Liberals who merely attend NPR and CNN (the Mosques of journalism), and the ‘Radical Extremist’ Liberals typified by Saul Alinsky and the Weather Underground.

And when Liberals bow down to the ‘East’ facing MSNBC, they end up prostrate in the same position as Muslims bowing low to MECCA – Liberals show their backside to the West.

The reaction by the Left to Pamela Geller is the undertone that ‘peaceful Liberalism’ has been ‘hijacked’ by ‘Radical Liberals’, and we should not blame peaceful Liberals for things like statues of Jesus in jars of urine paid for by the National Endowment for the Arts taxpayer money. We should not (we are told) blame peaceful Liberals for late term abortions performed via taxpayer money. A first trimester abortion is fine (according to conventional Liberalism), but those late term abortions do not represent the religion of Liberalism accurately, we are told.

But what are we to make of this, when Radical Extremist Liberals quote Liberal philosophy accurately? When King Obama sitting in Barackingham Palace quotes from the holy writ of Liberalism when he says Iran should have nukes because ‘it’s only fair’.

What are we to make of it when Stimulus Package money is funneled into the unions, then laundered, only to end up funding Democrat Party activities in EXACTLY the same way ‘legitimate’ money is funneled into Extremist Muslim terrorist organizations?

Is Pamela Geller supposed to wear the Burqa of Liberalism and only view the world through the narrow eye shield of political correctness?

We are at war, here.

the reader this.

Is it wrong for a society to judge the deity by the action of it’s follower? Is it wrong to compare one deity with another? Is it wrong for one sect to annihilate another sect in the name of it’s deity? Is it wrong for any group to impose it’s will on another at the point of a sword? Is it wrong that one religion to fails, neglects and refuses to educate it followers in the way of light, love, mercy, understanding, forgiveness and all the thousands of qualities that makes them worthy to stand before their deity? Now with that said is it wrong for one religion to circumvent the will and founding principles on which one nation is founded? Are people so unsure about their religion that they can easily be insulted and have their faith shaken by a drawing? Is it wrong for one group of people through a visual media display one societies interpretation of another deity. Is it wrong for one religion to burn the flag which represents the faith of another country? The follower of any particular deity are judged by and through their actions, words, and deed. That makes them uniquely qualified to judge. As the world judges one so will they judge another. May Peace and Allah’s grace be upon you.

How is exposing the the TRUTH about Islam’s prophet, his actions and teachings “insulting Islam and it’s prophet? You’d think Islam’s keepers would be happy to have it’s ‘scripture’ and prophet receive so much attention!
What IS insulting, is lame-stream media’s refusal to expose what Islam really is, what it really teaches, but instead media tries to hide it from the people in this country which they are supposed to keep informed with truthful, unbiased and accurate reporting. The evidence of what Islam teaches is on display all over this world, mass killings, raping and forced conversion to Islam of women, it’s invasion of otherwise peaceful countries, destroying their cultures and religion, and forcing them to submit to the evil, barbaric blood ideology of Islam.

History is overflowing with the records of Islam’s bloody conquests throughout the world, Mohammad’s followers continuously pursuing Islam’s never ending war on all mankind declared on the world by it’s so called prophet. This is a war that will NEVER end, until the world and everything in it belongs to Islam, and religion, ALL of it, is for “Allah”. He must have no rivals. Each and every Muslim is OBLIGATED to participate in this jihad, those who refuse commit a grievous sin, which they will pay for eternity in Allah’s hell-fires and are considered an apostate who more pious Muslims are commanded to kill.

Does Lame- stream media EVER report the TRUTH of what Islam is? Hell no! They are the real Islamophobics. Or are they Islam’s co- conspirators? I’ll leave that for the people to decide…

I’m sure, one of AC/DCs early songs was written with Pamela in mind. It’s called “she’s got balls” and taking into consideration how many men in the west are wondering where theirs went, she’s an example of how to find them.
