Fox News Video: “Did Pamela Geller provoke Texas attack?”

Watch this debate. The Democratic strategist Jessica Tarlov claims that I have said “really offensive things” such as “Obama is a closet Muslim,” which I have NEVER said. This is what they have to do. They have to lie to prop up their fallacious arguments.

Story continues below advertisement

Juan Williams is trying to make up for his wildly islamophobic remark — “The truth is that I worry when I am getting on an airplane and see people dressed in garb that identifies them first and foremost as Muslims” — by attacking me to score points with the Islamic supremacists. He said that our conference on free speech “led to the death of two people.” That’s how he refers to murdering jihadists.

Kudos to Jonathan Hoenig, who called Williams out on his disgusting slur that I am doing this for shameless self-promotion. Who self-promotes themselves to get killed?

Williams applauds flag burning because they “protesting over an issue.” Westboro Baptist Church is protesting military funerals, “God Hates Fags” because they “protesting over an issue.” Williams shrieks, “Pam Geller is engaged in a gratuitous act to call attention to her self-promoting self.” I have put myself at great risk and suffered the slings and arrows of these armchair bombthrowers in order to raise awareness of the jihad and sharia threat that showed itself so vividly in Garland, Texas and the ensuing attacks on the victims.

As for self-promotion, I love Jonathan Hoenig’s take-down of Williams: “It’s so ironic, Juan Williams  talks about Pam Geller self-promoting herself, Juan is on TV 6 days a week twice day promoting  8 books, Pam Geller is out there promoting your right to write the books that I don’t know if people have read or not, Pam Geller is out there promoting the right types of ideas, the right to freedom of speech, not to provoke people.”

Williams defends Molly Norris, the cartoonist who had to go into hiding after calling for “Everyone Draw Muhammad Day.” What’s the difference? Williams defends Charlie Hebdo cartoons. Their cartoons were obscene and pornographic depictions of Muhammad. Our cartoon winner was brilliant, and nailed the issue dead-on. But no one will run it. How vocal and vicious these cowards are.

There was nothing gratuitous about our contest. It was a response to the Charlie Hebdo jihad massacre, and a public demonstration that we would not bow to violent intimidation. Juan Williams may not understand that because he is so ready, even eager, to bow.

Just for the record, sharia provoked the attack. The jihadic doctrine provoked the attack.

Apparently not, if in fact, it was a Muslim ‘Heaven of Virgins”, that so motivated them. .

.First ‘Beware’ sign, is a teaching that makes ‘hate’ a value; and a ticket to personal reward -one so imagined. Am wondering, what is the reward, for the Female Islamist? OTOH, and on ‘second thought’, not so curious. . .

liberal: “willing to respect or accept behaviour or opinions different from one’s own; open to new ideas.”. You Americans have a giant statue in New York given by the French to celebrate liberty. Why on earth are you using liberal in a negative context?

Marlboro Man

Liberals believe in policies that produce bad results – all US cities dominated for the past 50 years by Democrat liberals are cesspools of crime, debt, and decay. The US government is in a similar situation because liberal Democrats ruled from the 60s thru 1994. “Liberal” does not have anything to do with “liberty”. Typically “conservatives” are more for “liberty” than liberals – except on abortion – in the case of abortion liberals are more for “liberty”. Liberals generally tend to be for big government dictating what you can and can’t do, but conservatives tend to want smaller government with less interference in what you can and can’t do, but that isn’t the case every time.

Marlboro Man
Marlboro Man

Reply to  Marlboro Man

One other point – today it doesn’t matter which side is in power in the USA – we always get more liberal policies that produce bad results. One reason for that is because of the gargantuan government bureaucracies which pass rules and regulations with no oversight or interference from congress. The other reason is that we currently have an illegal alien as president who does what he wants whether he has the authority or not and the congress is afraid to stop him for fear the media and the democrats will call them racists. So, it’s liberal 24/7/365 in America today – it is not going to end well.

And so do many “conservative” pundits. Conservativism is just a job for them, not a true conviction. They just want to live their lives , be at work from 9 to 5, have good weekends, enjoy their vacations , die in their bed in their sleep at 95 and not have their throat slit. Quite understandable – kicking the can down the road leaving the bloodbath to their children and grandchildren, isn’t it? But do they remember what Jefferson said about the tree of Liberty?

Watching the detractors on Fox News concerning Pamela Geller, specifically Juan Williams, (who was saved by Bill O’Reilly), brought back memories of the “Bleachers Kids”. You remember, the kids that hid behind the bleachers when it was time to play Dodge Ball in Gym. These kids were very quiet back in the day, but now the Internet, or a job as a talking head, has given them a voice. Juan Williams is such a Bleachers Kid, allowed a soap box at Fox News to spew his opinion. After watching him with Ms. Geller, what jumped out was that Juan Williams’ rhetoric was far more dangerous than Ms. Geller’s Cartoon Contest. This inspired a story: “Juan Williams The Bleachers Kid”. Let us know what you think. http://uswatchdogs.usfreedomnetwork.com/2015/05/11/pamela-geller-juan-williams-is-a-bleachers-kid/

Or is he a die-hard communist, using an expressed penchant for Islam as a subversive tactic to alter the internal social order of the U.S. and it’s hegemonic position on the world stage?

I suggest he uses rhetorical devices to imply an Islamic persuasion, in order to appeal to the global Muslim population (who love to claim him as one of his own), but I think his deep commitment is Marxist at the core.

The Supreme Court said it’s illegal to WRONGLY shout fire in a crowded theater. In Pamela Geller’s case, the fire was rushed to the theater by Mad Mahomet’s warriors, who were heedless of the fact that they were in TEXAS, where people are packing their own fire. A smarter govt. might set up Jihadist Traps like this all over the U.S. run by DHS agents and quit wasting resources on intel 🙂 The same PC journalists who try to turn the situation inside out to submit to Islam would be cheering on the protesters at Selma, because they aren’t so afraid of the police since they know they mainly respect the Constitution 🙂 A hater of the Constitution has a pass with them, which means it’s time to replace them with a new generation of journalists who have their priorities straight.

Geller is a hero for making a stand for the Constitution in the American heartland, no matter who it offends. Wish there were a million more like her. What a sad country. When will it begin to turn around?

As others have pointed out, there is no “closet” about it – Oblabber IS a Muslim. That fact was well documented in one of the Dinesh D’Souza films.
.
Williams said 2 people were killed at the cartoon contest. Wrong. 2 enemies of the USA were killed.
.
Let’s have a cartoon contest in every town in the USA every day of the week. If we can bag 2 jihadists per contest, that will be a good start.
.
The libs in the video are really squirming, claiming to be for free speech, yet attacking a free speech event, then having their blatant hypocrisy pointed out by those on Pamela’s side. Hilarious and sad all at the same time.

Perhaps the throwbacks themselves are looking for excuse not to blow up themselves in crowded places but we don’t give it to them! We should have immediately and unequivocally stand up in defense of the freedom of speech and against the Islamist and instead we are showing weakness by reflecting on whether or not Pamela should have provoked the savages. Obama is a practicing Secular Progressive who may or not believe in God whose high regard for gov’t borders on idolatry and agrees with Islam that gov’t should be supreme. As for his fawning “New Beginning” speech in Cairo, where he butt kissed Islam and praised it to the sky, It must have left many Moslems wondering that if he truly thinks Islam has been so great a force for good in history then why isn’t he Moslem? One year after the speech a Zogby poll taken in the Middle East had Obama less popular than George Bush. Apparently very few Moslems were convinced of his sincerity.

Juan is just reading from a rolling script. That’s why his eyes look like that. All this is scripted. Shocking, I know.

Anyway, I’ve noticed that no one is discussing or showing the actual cartoons or talking about them and what was being drawn and communicated. “Offensive!! Offensive!!” That’s all we hear.

I glanced at the cartoons when you could still view them, and there were some I interesting ideas being presented. Very thought-provoking. Should be talked about.v But now it’s left to everyone’s imagination what these were, and that Pamela was SO bad… even though no one shows them.binthink they’re afraid to show them because of jihadis, but also because they make people think–outside their comfortable box.

I think I t’s just a phony war against people standing for civil rights. Geert Wilders, Robert Soencer, and Bosch Fawstin also were speakers–but all the focus is on Pamela.

Punishments or Gifts?

By Gittle Gesina

So, we answer the soul’s call. We learn about our roots, about the heritage bequeathed to us by our ancestors, and we make the transition to the religious way of life. We begin to observe Shabbat, keep kosher, adhere to the modest style of dress, and participate in the numerous practices of the holidays.

Yet something is amiss. The baggage of the past doesn’t seem to allow us to fully embrace the new life. Fears, anxieties, worries do not leave us so readily, even though we seem to be doing all the right things. Without attempting to make this essay dramatic, I would like to share my insight, which has shed more light on and deepened my relationship with my Creator.

I started to believe in G‑d in my adolescence. My adherence to Jewish practices steadily increased from age 16, and at 20 I undertook complete observance. I started to fulfill the commandments to the best of my knowledge and abilities. All seemed appropriate on the outside. What was on the inside? What about my personal, intimate relationship with G‑d?

I read numerous accounts on how one is to experience G‑d’s love and care, and I understood intellectually that He is always with us. The subconscious message, however, was different. I perceived G‑d as an onlooker to my life. He was dispassionately watching from above as I struggled through the daily challenges, waiting for me to slip in order to shoot down the punishment. I constantly feared something terrible happening if I let down my guard. I could not rely on anything, because it could be taken away as a reprimand or a reminder not to be too cocky. Not only that, but G‑d could inflict pain on me at His whim. On the outside, intellectually, I accepted the Jewish view of G‑d as benevolent, compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in kindness and truth; on the inside, subconsciously, my old view persisted.

During one of my journaling excursions, I attempted to uncover the reasons for my fear of punishment and my shame for thinking that I deserved it. I realized that I was under the heavy influence of pagan ideology, which was further reinforced by the autocratic adult rule during my upbringing. Going against the established practices was wrong, and pain and suffering were self-inflicted by my own disobedience and willfulness. Comfort was possible only if I dutifully complied with the expectations of me.

To my surprise and relief, I was finally able to reconcile this subconscious indoctrination from childhood with my struggles as an adult.

When people refer to negative occurrences in life as punishments, they operate along materialistic guidelines. According to this view, the “bad” thing is anything which stands in the way of a person’s experiencing the pleasures and comforts of life. Losing a job means that there will be less money to get things one wants to have, to do the things one wants to do. An illness spells pain. There is frustration with not being able to enjoy sports, or even to do simple chores at one’s will. There seems to be no answer as to why bad things happen—natural calamities, wars, death. One draws the conclusion that it must be that G‑d is a cruel G‑d, quick to punishment. This view fills one with anxiety and dread of the future. If it is good now, it means that it will get bad at some point in the future.

The spiritual approach offers another explanation to life’s seemingly painful events. The underlying principle of creation is that G‑d made this world for the purpose of serving Him with complete devotion and self-abandonment, making this material existence into a dwelling place for Him. He is the creator, and He causes everything to run according to His will. With every thing that happens to us, whether good or bad, we can learn how to serve Him a little better, how to draw down His presence a little closer. The challenges set in front of us are never greater than we what can handle. G‑d is not only behind us, encouraging and cheering as we muster the strength to keep going, but He is beside us, breathing energy into us, and carrying us in His arms when we are unable to walk by ourselves. He is not out to break us, but to make us. Losing a job, becoming ill, or any other calamity one can think of are not punishments. At first, they cause us to reach deeper and deeper into our own resources, until we realize that we can’t do it without Him. From that, the realization that nothing is possible without Him begins to infiltrate our minds and hearts, changing our frame of reference on the world from self-centered to G‑d-centered, exactly as He wants it to be. I cannot perceive a source of greater comfort and security.

In the course of my religious journey, I heard these explanations, read them, even spoke about them myself, but they never became a reality for me until I put them against my old, deeply rooted beliefs, which were the cause of all the fear, anxiety and shame. Now, the process of shaking off the distorted childhood views and turning around to face mature reality is just beginning to take place. This slow and gentle process, as it infuses my soul with insights, inspiration, gratitude and humbleness, enables me to proclaim that everything will only get better from now on.

Liberals would have hated Rosa Parks for provoking racists.

Blaming Pam Geller for “provoking” the terrorist attack in Texas, is like blaming the bank owners for “provoking” the bank robbers to rob their bank.

No. The liberals who claim Pamela Geller provoked this attack with this conference would cringe if anyone accused a woman who was provocatively dressed and raped of having “invited” that atrocity.

I wrote this in defense of Ms. Geller, from the perspective of a humanities professor interested in artistic merit of events. http://www.thepublicdiscourse.com/2015/05/14997/

As an Artist I will never be censored. Pam Geller did nothing more than call for entries. This is done all over America about all kinds of anti religious- anti government- anti male or female. It’s self expression. MUSLIMS/ISLAMIST are not a part of American life and freedom. And they should be all sent to Jordan
