It would be a pity to shut down free speech in this way. But we have seen craven city officials do this in other cities. With every AFDI free speech, quisling bureacrats find another way to silence freedom of speech. After we won in Miami, they banned political speech. Chicago, too. I never thought I’d see it in New York City, capital of the free world, but I am not surprised that it is happening under Red Bill DeBlasio, our sharia Mayor and spineless coward.
Our ads quote high-profile Muslims and Muslim organizations calling for jihad, genocide, gender apartheid, creed apartheid. etc. Shutting us down won’t stop these savages, it will embolden them.
The “killing Jews is worship to Allah” ad is a direct quote from a Hamas broadcast on “Palestinian” television. Hamas was just re-elected. Do Americans know this? It is about calling attention to the genocidal statements of Hamas, and to Islamic antisemitism in general. It is scandalous that even one penny of American aid goes to these people who nurse this genocidal bloodlust.

There is one good thing that would come out of this, though: the Jew-haters and Islamic supremacist groups like American Muslims for Palestine and CAIR couldn’t run their ads either.

Stung by a court ruling that would force it to run a controversial ad from an anti-Muslim group on its buses, New York’s Metropolitan Transportation Authority may adopt a new policy that could let it ban the ad after all.
In a letter submitted on Friday to US District Judge John Koeltl in Manhattan, an MTA lawyer said the agency’s board plans on April 29 to vote on a proposal to adopt a new advertising policy that would transform MTA property into a “limited public forum,” enabling the agency to exclude “all advertisements of a political nature.”
The MTA believes such a policy would allow it to ban an ad from the American Freedom Defense Initiative, portraying a man wearing a scarf around his face, with a quotation “Killing Jews is Worship that draws us close to Allah” attributed to “Hamas MTV,” and below that, “That’s His Jihad. What’s yours?”
Koeltl had on Tuesday said the MTA’s refusal to run that ad violated the First Amendment of the US Constitution, because the agency had not shown that the display could incite terrorism or imminent violence.
A lawyer for the American Freedom Defense Initiative was not immediately available for comment.

No. Ignorance is no longer an excuse. Every politician, every entity that attacks American values in support of the jihad owns all Islamic savagery. They now own stoning of women, hanging of gays, and suicide bombings. Don’t let them off the hook.

It is interesting. The city would rather lose ad revenue than allow the truth. If ad revenue is lost, who makes up the difference? Taxpayers. Being muslim is being privileged in NYC.

The western electorate probably knows there is a lot of fighting going on in the middle east but they do not see how this affects them. The electorate is used to advertising, political campaigning and propaganda. Unfortunately the islam propaganda machine is able to create enough confusion and smokescreens to prevent the electorate to get a good picture of what is going on. Brigitte Gabriel complained 9/11 did not wake up the americans. “They hit the snooze button”, she said. This happens all the time because this allows people to read all the terrible news about all the atroceties going on in the world and go on living their own lives.

There are many websites that warn about islam yet the general public is unaware of what islam really is. I think this is because most followers of these sites already agree with the authors. It is preaching to the choir. Something i am doing here too of course.
Advertisement is a way to reach a bigger audience and the right to do that must be defended of course. Changing the rules to shut up people like Pamela Geller is totally unacceptable.
I think a lot of people will wake up if the they take a closer look at the koran. My website is designed to make that easy. Wether they agree with my ideas or not is unimportant; if they have a look chances are they will become aware there is a problem. I am trying to get more people to take a look at my site. If you have any suggestions on how i can do this please let me know. (b.t.w. i do not make money with it, there is no advertising or merchandising or something; i don’t sell anything or ask for money).
Advertising and free speech in general must stay. Censorship is a tool of tyrants; we can’t allow that.

Pamela, with all due respect, I think your latest bus ad is very confusing (particularly since one must read and interpret it as a bus goes speeding by). It goes too far even if it’s true; its message can be misinterpreted (as Bill O’Reilly momentarily did), and, as seems to be occurring, may cause a backlash by the MTA, resulting in more litigation and possibly the demise of your whole bus Ad project.

We need to stop coddling Muslims, if they don’t like it then too bad, go somewhere where you won’t have to see this. Your countries won’t allow the building of churches yet you come here or you’re born here and you expect to get whatever special privileges that you can. Get off the planet please and do the world a favor!!
