The Jim Joseph Foundation is one of the largest Jewish charities in America. They give away many millions of dollars – nearly all to great causes.
Just this month, they gave away “Nearly $24 million in Grants.” As they say, the grants went to issues including “to increase the number of young adults participating in immersive Jewish service experiences”; for a “Brandeis University: Summer Institute for Israel Studies (2015-2018)” program, for communities to create a “more customized approach to pre-b’nei mitzvah supplementary Jewish education,” and more. Noble and worthy.

Yet, unfortunately, like many others who give to good causes, they also give many tens of thousands away to New Israel Fund. And it must stop. Further investigation reveals that the shamed – hypocritical, terrible Alisa Robbins Doctoroff is on the board of this organization. And she spreads her bias to the Jim Joseph Foundation.
One sees the annual report of New Israel Fund, and can realize that they raise nearly $30 million annually – and it harms Israel. Hence they must be cut off.
Can an organization like Jim Joseph support Alma Biblash, the Executive Director of the Human Rights Defenders Fund (HRDF), an organization to which the NIF authorized grants worth $332,625 from 2011-2013 who has called Israel “racist” and “murderous,” and described the country as a “temporary Jewish apartheid state?”
So many NIF-funds go to causes like Biblash’s organization – who support Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaigns and promotes the Palestinian Arab ‘right of return.’
Many donors – like Jim Joseph – may not know the evil of the New Israel Fund. Now they do.
Jim Joseph Foundation must dump Alisa Doctoroff and stop funding The New Israel Fund.
This foundation says on their site they are “devoted exclusively to supporting education of Jewish youth and young adults who are residents of the United States.” They note, “Jim Joseph was a dedicated Jewish philanthropist who cared passionately about the education of Jewish children, youth, and young adults. He believed that focusing on young people was the best way to preserve a strong Jewish faith and proud heritage, thereby ensuring success of the Jewish people for the future. The Foundation’s Board of Directors and its Foundation professionals are building on the philanthropic mission that Mr. Joseph pursued: to foster compelling, effective learning experiences for young Jews in the United States.”
In accordance with Mr. Joseph’s view, the Jim Joseph Foundation must stop funding The New Israel Fund – NOW.

Jim Joseph does so much good work – Why do they ruin it with New Israel Fund.

the Jim Joseph foundation does wonderful work but they must stop funding the New Israel fund it’s anathema to the foundation. The donations are going to the wrong people,example Alisa Doctoroff.
