Canadian Jihadi In Syria –Inspired by American Muslim Cleric Who Teaches at US Colleges– Tweets On Jihad And War Against The West

A Canadian jihadist tweeting mayhem and murder in the cause of Islam from Syria is inspired, like so “many other Western jihadis,  by Sheikh Ahmad Musa Jibril – a cleric based in Dearborn, Michigan.” Jibril  has been described as the “most inspirational leader” for Western jihadis in Syria.

Not only does this hugely influential Muslim cleric  administers his poison to soldiers of  the Islamic State, Jabhat al-Nusra, and other jihadist groups that operate in Syria  — but he is spreading his Islamic annihilationist propaganda at his Dearborn mosque, on social media (below)  and to our most impressionable — our children attending  US universities. He is teaching our kids. Jebril  speaks about Islam at colleges and universities like East Carolina University, North Carolina State University and the Islamic Association of Raleigh. Who pays for these trips is anyone’s guess, but the fact that this abhorrent savage is speaking to our children when the finest minds on jihad, like Robert Spencer, Ibn Warraq, Bat Ye’or, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, me et al are blacklisted speaks to why we are losing this war.

Canadian Jihadi In Syria Tweets On Jihad And War Against The West, MEMRI,

Screen Shot 2014-10-22 at 4.11.36 PM

A Canadian jihadi recently opened a Twitter account, where he relays his experiences fighting in Syria. He discusses jihad against the West, the coalition airstrikes, and relays his own experiences in jihad. He does not mention what group he belongs to, but speaks of Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq, and mentions the enslavement of Yazidis, which could indicate that he is a member of the Islamic State (IS). He also tweeted a picture of jihadis praying in a cave next to an IS banner.

The tweets begin on October 9 and describe attacks by drones and Tomahawk missiles. Subsequent tweets also include pictures of the destruction, and a comment about dismantling unexploded cruise missiles.

He mentioned that he is originally from Ontario, and also posted a link to an article about another Canadian jihadi killed in Syria. He also expressed his support for the enslavement of the Yazidis, claiming that “the Quran and Sunnah support it.”

Like many other Western jihadis, he is influenced by Sheikh Ahmad Musa Jibril – a cleric based in Dearborn, MI, who has been described as the “most inspirational leader” for Western jihadis in Syria.
