At 12:00 noon, on Wednesday, October 1, 2014, my lawyers from the American Freedom Law Center (AFLC) and I will be filing a federal civil rights lawsuit against the New York MTA for refusing to run a political ad on MTA buses that contained a quote from Hamas TV, stating, “Killing Jews is worship that draws us close to Allah.”
The lawsuit will be filed on behalf of Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer, and their organization, the American Freedom Defense Initiative (AFDI).
The MTA refused to run the Hamas Killing Jews ad (see below) and issued a press release to explain why they thought Muslims would see the ad and start killing Jews. The MTA press release may be found at the MTA website here.

Lawyers from AFLC representing Ms. Geller, Mr. Spencer, and AFDI will be available at 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday, October 1, just outside the Federal Courthouse at 500 Pearl Street in Manhattan, after they have filed the lawsuit. Ms. Geller and her lawyers will be available for questions at that time.
