VIDEO: VOR Interview with Pamela Geller on AFDI Islamic Jew-Hatred Ads

I did an interview earlier today with a rather hostile radio show host on Voice of Russia. Clueless Crystal Park and I have at it. It’s interesting: they edited out the parts where Crystal lost her cool. lol

By the way, I did not know I was being video’ed. She asked me to SKYPE video but said there would be no video. Crystal Park  said when the show first opens that because we are on the radio she could not a picutre of the ads. It’s not important but you’ll understand when you see I am not looking at the camera. Thank goodness I decided not to change my top.

“DC Buses Ad Campaign Links Islam With Anti-Semitism,”  Voice of Russia

By Crystal Park

WASHINGTON (VR) – In the next few weeks, DC’s metro buses will feature an ad with a black and white photo of Adolf Hitler speaking with Palestinian nationalist and Hitler supporter, Haj Amin al-Husseini. The American Freedom Defense Initiative, the sponsor of the ad, says it’s a direct “response to a vicious anti-Semitic ad ran by the American Muslims for Palestine.

It was not a factual ad. It was libel, implying that the Jews, the Israelis, were living off the fat of the American tax payer,” says Pamela Geller, the woman behind the ads.

The ad reads: Islamic Jew-Hatred: It’s in the Quran. Geller says the U.S. refuses to acknowledge the root cause of Middle East conflict- Islam. “My ad, which had to be vetted through channels and substantiated, the point of the ad is to show that the root cause of the conflict in the Middle East has nothing to do with land or whatever marketing ploy is being used, but is in fact rooted in jihadi doctrine, Islamic anti-Semitism, is a religious imperative,” says Geller.

Geller accuses the American media of advancing an anti-Jewish, pro-Muslim agenda. That is why, she says, she decided to run this ad as a direct response to the American Muslims for Palestine ad. “I hope the ad motivates people to research and learn more about the mufti and the history of Jews in Muslim land.”

One could view Geller’s ad as a tit-for-tat move that only perpetuates the stalemate in the Israel-Palestine conflict. Geller disagrees. She says she feels obligated to speak up to balance “media bias.” “Anyone that speaks to jihad and sharia is smeared, defamed and libeled. This is the war that we’re in. This is the information battle space.”

Asked whether she is concerned her controversial ad might turn viewers off, Geller replies, “When is it ever advantageous to let a lie stand unchallenged by the truth? The truth is always appropriate. If the media deems it as nutty, I think that’s more of a reflection of the media and their bias than my work.”

Your contribution supports independent journalism

Please take a moment to consider this. Now, more than ever, people are reading Geller Report for news they won't get anywhere else. But advertising revenues have all but disappeared. Google Adsense is the online advertising monopoly and they have banned us. Social media giants like Facebook and Twitter have blocked and shadow-banned our accounts. But we won't put up a paywall. Because never has the free world needed independent journalism more.

Everyone who reads our reporting knows the Geller Report covers the news the media won't. We cannot do our ground-breaking report without your support. We must continue to report on the global jihad and the left's war on freedom. Our readers’ contributions make that possible.

Geller Report's independent, investigative journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we believe our work is critical in the fight for freedom and because it is your fight, too.
