Sharia in Action: UK System ‘failing’ girls at risk of clitoridectomy (FGM)

They aren’t “failing” girls — they chose a side, and it’s not freedom or indiviidual rights. The authorities are supporting Islamic culture and tradition, not the magna carta. This mirrors the British authorities’ failure  to save the hundreds of tween and teen non-Muslim girls who were exploited by Muslim sex gangs. Despite the fact that those victims went to law enforcement authorities — they were dismissed, ignored, laughed at. The authorities didn’t want to offend the savages who are trafficking them for sex.

Young girls who are at risk of being subjected to female genital mutilation are being failed by the health and social care system, a report warns.

They are let down by officials who do not know where to turn if they suspect the brutal procedure has been carried out, say doctors, midwives and campaigners in the report.

Figures suggest about 66,000 women in England and Wales have undergone FGM and 23,000 girls under 15 from African communities are ‘at risk’.

Chief executive of the Royal College of Midwives Cathy Warwick said more work was needed to raise awareness.

‘We cannot expect communities or girls and young women to tackle this issue by themselves. FGM robs girls of their childhood and it is an abuse of their human rights,’ she said.

‘This is why we must work collaboratively to ensure that these recommendations, aligned to current policy frameworks, are implemented and monitored.

‘FGM is a violation of children and women’s human rights, and there is a real need to raise awareness about the damage that FGM can do to young girls and women within the communities that practise it.’

Everyone who reads our reporting knows the Geller Report covers the news the media won't. We cannot do our ground-breaking report without your support. We must continue to report on the global jihad and the left's war on freedom. Our readers’ contributions make that possible.
