More of the poison fruit of Clinton's Bosnian war backing the Muslims against the Christians in southeast Europe.

Yesterday in "moderate" "modern" Albania, the church of the
Dormition in Permet was seized, clergy brutally beaten, worhsippers violently prevented from entering  and the church looted with the assistance of the local government.

Local officials removed church items from the church of the Dormition in Permet in southern Albania in an effort to seize control of the church building:

Holy Metropolis ARGIROKASTRO (thanks to Maxim)

STATEMENT OF PROTEST

The Priests of the Holy Metropolis of Gjirokastra

Today
in Përmet Orthodox community was witnessed brutal violation of any
notion of democracy, human rights, in particular that the free exercise
of religion as sanctioned in the Constitution as well as basic
conditions to be guaranteed under the state
the right to equal.

Since
morning today, Friday, 16 August 2013, and while the whole Orthodox
community continues to experience the Feast of the Dormition of the
Virgin Mary, Easter Summer, paramilitary groups (with the help of
municipal officials and the tacit support of the municipal authority
), on the pretext of treating a case, multiform violence exercised to the detriment of clergy and believers Bazaar.

All of our church is next to the parish faithful in temple entry of the Virgin Mary in Përmet protests for today:
– Was beaten so barbarous clergy of that city
– Were violently prevented believers from entering their church and their duties of trust
– Looted items that church on the pretext of execution of court decisions which are already prescribed
– Sacrilegious because it was heavy hand on the holy church items (icons, worship container etc.)

Strength to speculate with various legal proceedings aimed at
effectively removing violent believers from their places of worship.
With
special state law ratified Agreement between the Council of Ministers
and AAOC exactly a priority of ensuring the enjoyment of freedom of
sacred places of worship and ceremonies.

    Raise
the voice of protest and express both our insistence that we have to
abandon the quest by any means and method to our right to own property
and free use of the parish church of Entry into the Temple of the Virgin
Mary is fully realized.

We
demand that the dark forces beyond the control of emerging rule of law
and the spirit of tolerance and cohesion of society who commits violent
acts today to get the deserved punishment by law.

Gjirokastra, on 16 August 2013.

Totally a lie, this has nothing to do with muslims, I”m a christian not a muslim but don’t like you misinforming people. That was a goverment building which orthodox church took in position. This is a political and ethnic issue, you should read more about countries’s history first then posting this kind of articles.

Not trying to take any position but just trying to be fair. The news is all over the media here and the clerics are speaking on TV. They are not mentioning muslims. I know the area there and i know the population is not practitioners of islam, they are more atheist. I know the property is a church property and don’t know if taking the property away from church from the court is right or wrong but the article title “ALBANIA: MUSLIM GROUPS WITH THE HELP OF GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS SEIZE CHURCH, BEAT CLERGY” is totally misinforming.

Ilia seems to know about Albania, where Muslims drink beer and don’t pray – but they still call themselves Muslims and have it in for Orthodox Christians. We don’t have info yet, but you can bet the gov’t thugs, like Thaci in Kosovo (with an “O”), behind their “democracy” lies authoritarian Maoism and under that a brutal Islam.
Who knows what brought it out on the afterfeast of Dormition – in typical Muslim style, it would be some personal vendetta, someone’s sister kissed a Christian, so you go kill his family and burn down their neighborhood. That’s how the lovely Muslim Brotherhood, those democrats down Egypt way do it.
I sure hope the dumb Americans wake up and realize that Muslims make use of western tolerance and liberality so they can gain the upper hand. If enough churches are burning at once, no one viewer will be able to see all the destruction themselves.
I personally know a man, ostensibly Orthodox, who refuses to shed a tear for the Copts and insists the reports of the MB’s mayhem are overblown, a plot to slander Muslims. Blood libel, if you like. I doubt this man has not become a Muslim himself, because he already thinks like one – blaming the victims, defending the honor of the Muslim community.

You are not being an assh@le. I appreciate honest information about the goings on in Muslim dominated areas as it pertains to no-muslims. Thank you.

Interesting how you use the word “ethnic” in your comment. Just wondering what the religious affiliations are of these “ethnic” people you have written about. I bet if you scratch the surface just a bit, muslim supremacy issues will be brought to the fore.
