"Human rights group fighting to restore FBI anti-Jihad bus ads
" by Jim Kouri The Examiner,

A New York City-based civil rights group is battling
politically-correct politicians and pro-Islamist leaders in order to
restore the controversial bus advertisement campaign by the Federal
Bureau of Investigation in the city of Seattle which was discontinued
because it targeted jihad terrorism, according to officials at the American Freedom Defense Initiative on Monday.

Story continues below advertisement

The FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force recently launched a publicity
campaign as part of the Department of State's Rewards for Justice (RFJ)
program. The program notified Americans that up to $25 million is being
offered for information that helps stop terrorism and capture jihadists,
according to the AFDI leaderhip. But due to complaints from Muslim
organizations, the publicity posters on city buses were removed.

"Political correctness is killing Americans. A perfect example is Maj. Nidal Hasan:
his fellow officers knew he was spouting jihadi rhetoric and yet out of
fear that the political-correctness orthodoxy that's infiltrated the
U.S. military would cause their personnel folders to be 'flagged," they
remained silent until Hasan perpetrated his murder-spree at Fort Hood,"
said former police detective and U.S. Marine Mike Snopes.

"Even then, the Obama administration refused to recognize the attack as terrorism and labeled it 'workplace violence.' Are we to deny the evidence of our own senses?" asked Snopes.

According to Pam Geller, the executive director of the American Freedom Defense Initiative,
the RFJ rewards program is already proving itself successful. The State
Department's Bureau of Diplomatic Security has paid out more than $125
million to about 80 informants who provided genuine, actionable
information resulted in jihadis being captured and acts of terrorism
thwarted.

This program was instrumental in leading to the arrest of jihadist
Ramzi Yousef, who is now in prison for his role in the 1993 World Trade
Center bombing.

"This program saves lives," Geller said succinctly.

Successful or not, Jeff Siddiqui, of the American Muslims of Puget Sound
in Washington State, was opposed to the advertisements. He claimed that
Seattle-area Muslims called him, saying the Most Wanted Terrorists ad
campaign made them "concerned for their safety."

"How is one to trust the FBI when they appear to be more concerned
with their own interests than they are with the damage they are causing?
We Muslims are now the collateral damage, God Bless America!," wrote Siddiqui.

Siddiqui claims that the ad is the same as the U.S. government
placing posters on city buses with images of people from a single ethnic
group with captions reading "the face of murders in the United States."

However, police officers in Seattle told the Law Enforcement Examiner
— in confidence — that they were unaware of complaints regarding the
anti-terrorism advertisements that were posted on Seattle buses.

Congressman Jim McDermott
(D-Wash.) — also known as Baghdad Jim by his detractors — wrote an
official letter to the FBI demanding that the campaign be terminated. He
claimed the message was "offensive to Muslims and ethnic minorities"
and encouraged "racial and religious profiling."

McDermott also stated that the bus ad would "likely only serve to
exacerbate the disturbing trend against Middle Eastern, South Asian and
Muslim Americans."

However, the facts appear to contradict McDermott's claims, according to FBI statistics. The agency's figures reveal that American Jews are eight times more likely to be targets of hate crimes than Muslims.

And, according to the FBI web site, the ad was not unfair: of the FBI's "32 Most Wanted Terrorists," only two are not Muslims.

AFDI's Pamela Geller, who's a regular contributor to Fox News
Channel's Sean Hannity, explained in her statement: "If McDermott
wanted the FBI to leave the Muslims off the Most Wanted Terrorists ad,
he'd first have to convince Muslims to stop committing terror attacks in
the name of Islam. But instead, he succeeded in getting the FBI to
remove the ads. The FBI caved to this ridiculous imposition of Sharia
blasphemy laws and political correctness.

"And that means that we're going to have to do their job for them.
We're taking it upon ourselves to alert the public to the nature and
magnitude of the terror threat. At our own expense, we're going to run
the same ad on Seattle buses," she said.

"The AFDI ads exactly replicate the FBI ads, and will be appearing in Seattle in the near future," said Geller.

I certainly hope the FBI is grateful to the AFDI for this initiative. I know I am. This ad would likely do extremely well in Michigan and the GTA of Ontario too.

Refusing to recognize and name a threat only makes it more dangerous. As in the Ft. Hood case, instead of calling it “radical islamic terrorism” we must now call it “preventable radical islamic terrorism.

CAIR-canada went nuts when the Canadian Government posted thier Most-wanted list for war-crimes or inks to terrorism. Of the 25 photos, about 22 were MUSLIMS while one was African and the remaining two were South Amricans drug lords in canada.
Rather than CAIR see a serious issues and counter the Jihad and Terrorism, they did their normal faux-outrage and ran to the media and said this waa islamophobia and anti-muslim ttacks.
No CAIR, it’s called Protecting Civilians and legally removing people that are deangerous as llowed bythe U.N. . That’s how Maher Arar got caught sneaking into JFk Airport as a sunni male on a canadian Passport when he was know for his home near the Boston Airport and he had a gun permit in canada.
