AFDI official statement on our legal fund

19

There are people and/or parties that are raising money on our UK legal
woes. They are fraudulently misrepresenting themselves as acting as our
agent or coordinator, or in some way working with us on our legal
challenge to British authorities.

The Left-fascist group Hope Not Hate has published a piece falsely
claiming that George Igler and the Discourse Institute are coordinating
our legal efforts and raising money in our name. Let us state it most
emphatically: we have nothing to do with Mr. Igler, the Discourse
Institute, or anyone else who is claiming to be working on our behalf on
our legal and fundraising efforts.

This is yet another underhanded Leftist attempt at subterfuge, designed
to confuse people and divert them from the genuine outlets for our
defense.

George Bela Igler presents as an angry ex-associate of Abhijit Pandya.
He claims to have broken completely with Pandya at the end of January last year after their joint failed attempt to penetrate and use the EDL for their own political ends.
On the cover page of his rambling treatise ‘From Strategy to Practise: Systemising the defence of free Speech’ Igler claims to be the Managing Director of DISCOURSE UK. Companies House does not list him as such.
DISCOURSE UK was incorporated as a Private Limited Company on 31/1/12; it is wholly owned by Abhijit Pandya (see Certificate of Incorporation), and the only lawyer associated with it is his, Pandya’s, younger sister, Abah Pandya.
On pages 16 and 17 of the treatise ((c) The financing problem) he appears to asking for ‘£100,000 to begin with’ for a fighting fund ‘capable of underwriting big cases’. At the bottom of page 14 and continuing at the top of page 15 he claims a significant response from members of the legal profession (yet there is only Abah (above) as far as can be determined!?) ‘willing to challenge certain cases on a pro bono basis, with the natural proviso that the costs be met, bearing in mind the punitive result that might be produced financially should any court proceeding be found against us.’
Two points therefrom; pro bono legal work is by definition carried out for free, without any cost to the client, and is regulated and guided by a the ‘Solicitors Pro Bono Group’; under criminal law and its Statutes no ‘punitive’ or any other charges can be levied against a Lawyer working pro bono provided that he or she concerned conducts themself according to the normal rules of legal practice.
In a previous incarnation Igler claimed to be the Director and ‘Consulting Political Analyst’ of a Company called SOVEREIGNTY RESEARCH. Companies House has no record of such a Company, past or present.
Igler has to quite an extent penetrated what could be loosely described as ‘International Counter-Jihad Movement’ and has managed to get himself exposure at the top table, some positive recognition and hence a platform to panhandle for funds. It is doubtful that any funds so raised will be used for any purpose other than for the benefit of Igler et al. There may be an even more sinister motive and that aspect is still being looked into.
We would all be advised to keep Igler at arm’s length. This is because if he is openly thwarted in his attempt to extract money from supporters of the movement there is a high probability that he, possibly through Pandya’s daily Mail blog or by other means, could exploit, sensationalise and exaggerate his experiences of the movement and its senior leadership for personal gain or seek other more productive allies (HnH, UAF, etc.).
You will of course come to your own conclusions, but all current information on Igler indicates that he is a very duplicitous piece of work indeed, a ‘Walter Mitty’ type con man at best, perhaps more than that at worst, and I would commend that your safest course of action may be to blank him totally.
Sincerely, Seneca III.

You ought to know that the Indiegogo link to contribute to the legal fund does not allow people from the UK to contribute (this is not the first time I have been unable to make a contribution through indiegogo). As soon I enter my British postcode I get an error message saying ‘digits only’.

The UK has had to put up with these demented Trots for years. They spew a constant stream of lies, half-truths and disinformation. Hope not Hate are supported by the Mirror newspaper and are in cahoots with journos at The Independent and other rags. They have also wangled themselves into other organisations. Some of their funding comes from UK taxpayers via dodgy politicians on the far left (see http://www.borderland.co.uk for some info on who funds them and who they are linked in with).
Looks like HNH have added Pamela and Robert to their list for ‘Relentless Attacks’ – they’ll be stalking your every move from now on in. So, that is the BNP, EDL, UKIP, Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer – busy little bees aren’t they?
A new blog recently appeared (Nope not Hate) which keeps a daily update on shanningans of Hope not Hate here: http://nopenothope.blogspot.co.uk/

Pamela, Indiegogo requires the postal code as mandatory for the transaction to go through. It asks for a 4-digit numerical. U.K. postcodes are commonly 2 letters followed by 3 numerals followed by another 2 letters.
You can get around this glitch by entering a random “1234” in that field.

Putting in 1234 worked.
Donation made (in name on card not Edgar). Good luck!

The more people that keep tabs on HNH, the better. UKIP won’t give these dolts such an easy ride as EDL have done.
Turnout at HNH’s meeting in Bury on 3 July – 7!
EDL supporters turned up at this meeting and wrote a report which Nope not Hate have recorded on their website here – typical outcome: http://nopenothope.blogspot.co.uk/2013/07/bury-hope-not-hate-meeting-attendance-7.html?m=1

From Nope, not Hate:
Hope not Hate on receiving end of ‘Golden Shower’ campaign after democratic consultation
Over on our Facebook page (facebook.com/NopeNotHope), we have been running a consultation exercise closely modelled on Hope not Hate‘s “Let’s talk about UKIP” & ‘Purple Rain’ initiatives, and the results are now in. We asked a completely impartial question – exactly like Hope not Hate – and allowed anybody to vote who was interested. The question was:

Pointing a finger and screaming ‘Racist’ is only valuable if you fight all racism. The hypocrites at ‘Hope not Hate’ are only interested in shoring up the vote of their Labour paymasters. This page tells you what they don’t want you to hear.

Islamic Emergency Defence slips beneath Hope not Hate’s radar
While Hope not Hate were running their campaign to ban Pam Geller and Robert Spencer from the UK, their old friend Anjem Choudhary – whose Al Muhajiroun group was supposed to be one of the hate groups they opposed – was launching a fresh group to circumvent government controls.
As reported in ‘The Sun’, Choudhary’s new group – which he was pushing through his Twitter feed (pictured) – aims to set up ‘task forces’ and mete out ‘instant justice’. Choudhary admits to having an ‘advisory role’ with the group, but does not run it.
The selection of the name Islamic Emergency Defence and its initials IED were, according to a spokesman, ‘completely coincidental’ to any similarity with the initials for Improvised Explosive Device.
Over on Hope not Hate’s website, Director Nick Lowles wrote only a week ago that “While many people look just at the extremism on the right wing, it is important to also monitor those who deliberately stoke sectarian tensions within the Muslim communities too.”
It may be that Lowles and his colleagues simply missed the story: they are after all nice, middle class kids who probably don’t read the ‘Sun’, which is reserved for the working class in their view. Far better to read the ‘Guardian’. Even so, as Al Muhajiroun is one of the groups they supposedly monitor, it is not unreasonable to expect them to have spotted it. Perhaps they could launch a front page campaign demanding that the Home Secretary ban the group, similar to the campaign they launched against Geller and Spencer?

Nothing new, HNH have never been concerned or interested in highlighting issues on Terrorism, rampant Child Abuse/Grooming carried out by Muslim gangs, FGM, Honour/Honor Killings, Forced Marriages etc, instead they have always attacked those that do.

That won’t happen, of course. There are few Labour votes to be gained in opposing Islamic extremism with the same fervour they apply to opposing right-wing extremism whatever Lowles may state publicly. Of 51 news links on their websites news feed, only one deals with Islamic extremism. Of 15 front page stories on ‘Nick’s Blog’, only one deals with Islamic extremism – regarding Mohammed al Arefe, while of 28 posts on the ‘Insider’ blog, none deal with Islamic extremism.
Elsewhere, on our Facebook page this morning we posted of an initiative in Bristol – an inter-faith prayer group dedicated to the memory of Lee Rigby – which was held in a mosque, and which was organised by a Muslim woman.
It seems to us that as every day goes by Hope not Hate is more about Hate and less about Hope. Where was their mention of the Bristol event as a symbol of hope? Where are the mentions of Imam Alvas Karmani’s initiative against sexual grooming in Bradford? Where is their condemnation of Choudhary’s latest group of extremists?
Nick Lowles, Ruth Smeeth and their colleagues at Hope not Hate should hang their heads in shame. Their hypocrisy is not advancing Hope, it is only interested in their own Hate and advancing the Labour vote for their own political and financial gain.

Outrageous and sick. This is what happens when they (Socialists and Islamists) infiltrate Government/Councils – they bring their sickness with them. Disgraceful. Story of this grooming case has previously been highlighted on Atlas.
Councillor Aftab Hussain, the highly controversial councillor who gave a positive character reference for Abdul Qayyum, who was one of the nine local men convicted of conspiracy to engage in sexual activity with a child, has been voted chairman of Pennine Township for a second year.
The committee’s 12 councillors were supposed to elect a chairman for the new municipal year last month, but were unable to agree on who should lead the Township. However, at an extraordinary meeting the deadlock was broken when – by a vote of six to five, due to the absence of one councillor – Councillor Hussain was re-elected.
It is understood that Councillor Hussain’s re-election has soured relations on the Township committee.
Conservative group leader Councillor Ashley Dearnley said it would be fairer if an opposition party took the Township chair this year.
Former Pennines councillor, Jean Ashworth, said: “In the past the chair has been shared between all three parties, regardless of who was in power, as this post is supposed to be non-political. Sadly, it has become very political, which is sad for the Pennines and sad for the borough as power seems to have gone to their heads rather than working for the community.”

Thuggery from Unison (Union), who also sponsor Hope not Hate, UAF et al.
Friday, 5 July 2013 – HnH’s UNISON funders threaten UKIP candidate’s wife, force withdrawal from election
I was looking through the list of local council by-elections today and was surprised that only one of English Elections website forum written by the person who would have been the local election agent:
the four which are taking place had a UKIP candidate. I came across the following post in relation to the Swansea Llansamlet election on the
—->”The reason that there is no UKIP candidate in the Llansamlet election is because the intended candidate pulled out the day before nominations closed …. after his wife mentioned in work …. that her husband was thinking of standing for UKIP.
She claims that she was visited by the workplace UNISON rep who advised her that it would be the end of her career enhancement prospects if he stood.”<---- Unduly influencing an election (or intention of the same) is an offence under S115 of the Representation of the People Act 1983 and is punishable by up to a year imprisonment. Readers may recall that last night's Bury 'Let's talk about UKIP' Hope not Hate meeting was hosted by a UNISON rep, and that UNISON is a major funder of HnH.
When HnH talk about free speech, democracy and freedom from fascism, this is what they mean.
