PM Erdogan: Describing Constitution As 'A Huge Lie': 'Sovereignty
Belongs Unconditionally and Always To Allah'; 'One Cannot Be a Muslim,
and Secular'

Erdogan, Obama's favorite and "most trusted ally." Listen to this young man in the video above. He is the voice of the people. Will Obama ignore their cries, as he did those of the people of Iran? Of course he will, because they are not demanding Islamic law; they are asking for freedom.

The young man is right on. I’m praying for his safety and freedom from arrest. Some of the mainstream media — I’m thinking particularly of Richard Seymour’s piece in the Guardian — have insulted these protesters by likening them to Occupy protesters. The only point of resemblance is that some of the Turkish protesters did camp out in tents in Gezi park. The Turkish protesters have good reasons to protest, which the Occupiers lack, and they are for the most part straight, decent people. I’ve only seen five people I know as I’ve wandered through the crowds, but everyone milling in Taxim was behaving decently; they are, many of them, beautiful young people. I have seen some Communist and anarchist graffiti, but most of the people just want freedom. I saw no property damage or filfth, just slogans spray painted on the roll-down doors of businesses that were closed, and, oh yes, the actual walls of the French consulate had Marxist slogans sprayed on them — that had to have been done by minority “ideological provocateurs” people are saying have gotten involved in the later days of the protests.
Thanks for your honest coverage, Pamela.

Here we go again. Protests. A new Spring? An ‘Arab Spring’ waiting to be hijacked by types such MBH, again??
I wish him well, I hope he and others all stay safe – I hope to God, their mission succeeds but doesn’t get hijacked by an even worse evil like all the other ‘Springs’.
Stay safe lad. x

You tag this as “Arab Spring” as that was largely bullsh*t to install caliphate-rather the people being are used to secluarization due to Ataturk-I warned many to watch Turkey as it would not take much to switch back to Sharia policy. We are seeing thhat wounded head of Islam and tyrannical beast being resurrected-and maybe we also see similar w/ the “holy roman empire” as “holy see” is still much behind the seens consulted by Europe & WTO. Expect moore attempts to further “Chrislam” in apostate churches-that is in many denominations. Time for the real bride to out of her closet!

On CNN tonight, they are reporting that the violence was begun over the brutality of security forces, when they removed a few dozens of protesters trying to protect the trees in a little green park in Istanbul. From that point, they are saying that people are just sick of the reactions of the police, and not a single word about how good ‘ol Erd is trying to negate any secular progress, and to drag them back about a thousand years culturally.
No. Obama will do nothing to help these people, because they are on the wrong side. Treaties and such aside, they are standing against the Islamization that he has supported at every turn.

I sincerely hope that nothing bad happens to that brave man in the video. And I wish he, and his like minded citizens are successful in getting their country back.

Sounds that Turkey is become a police state. I was there in 2005, already back then I saw the police to be very bad and rude to minority people. People just don’t accept it anymore in 2013.

If things in Turkey don’t get better soon (and it most likely won’t), then my prediction is that Turkey is going to be the next country in the Middle East to go into a civil war just like Syria did, only this time it won’t be jihadists fighting the government. It will be secular forces fighting a Islamic totalitarian regime.

Where are the student and professional demonstrators in Canada and America demonstrating for freedom in Turkey? In Montreal they are out there every weekend for some stupid cause or other…And this guy seems to pro abortion, pro morning after pill, for alcohol or at least he says these measures are signs of a crackdown. Where are the feminists?

“The minarets are our bayonets,
the mosques are our barracks
their domes are our helmets
and the believers are our soldiers.”
^^^ That’s what Adolf Erdogan said. He also said the following about “Democracy”:
“Democracy is like a Bus, you get in it,
and when you arrive at your destination, you get out”.
