Oh, I must disagree with you on that! Sharia laws have been governing muslim world for hundreds and hundreds of years – far longer than our Republic or secular humanistic European States. To say that Sharia laws are not logical or internally consistent is plainly a false statement.

This is unbelievably shocking. The irony is that Pamela has actually done more to support the human rights of Muslims (by campaigning, for example, against the abuse of women and gays in Islamic societies) than any politician in the UK.

You always make the same mistake of assuming that the actions of a minority represent the majority. Should America be judged by the school shootings, the rapes and killings of civilians by the soldiers and so on? We’ll have to agree to differ on the specifics of the examples I offered. The point I was making is that judging entire cultures from the actions of a tiny minority is not rational. The murderers of Lee Rigby are probably psychopaths (I may be wrong, I’m not qualified in the field), and would use any argument to justify their actions. All our governments make poor decisions and every society has its malcontents. I agree that we should defend ourselves against people who seek to do harm, but it doesn’t therefore follow that I need to be paranoid to do it..
