LIVE REPORT: Families of Fallen Navy SEALs Press Conference Blames Obama and his DoD for their deaths

Here is a full report by blogger Dr. Eowyn, who was at the Navy SEALS press conference yesterday. I wish I had been there, but I had to be deposed by that jackass yesterday.

Listening to these families is gutwrenching, and something we, as a great and free people, never see. This is what surrender looks like, America. Don't like what you see? Get used to it. Obama has a lot more of this in store for us. Unless you get active.

We owe these families an uncalcuable debt. It took a lot of guts and patriotism (in the wake of their horrible loss) to do what they have done. The video must seen and sent everywhere.

Bev Perlson, Band of Mothers, wrote, "Concern for the hearts and minds of this enemy is and has been what
drives this administration in this war. The Rules of Engagement and the
catch and release policies afford this enemy all the advantages on the
battlefield. Our Sons are and have been sacrificed at the altar of Allah
in a sick game of appeasement and apology under this disgraceful
Commander-in-Chief!

have asked folks to call your Senator and Congressmen regarding the
ROE's and catch and release policies and I know many of you have. Well I
ask you now to call and ask them how in the world an Imam was allowed
to speak over the bodies of our Fallen Sons at Bagram Airbase and
disparage their honor and memory!!!

engage folks. We can't continue to let this administration appease this
enemy at the expense of our Sons and Daughters.

Here's the  press release published before the press conference by the fallen Navy 6 SEAL families:

(Washington,
D.C.). Three families of Navy SEAL Team VI special forces servicemen,
along with one family of an Army National Guardsman, will appear at a
press conference on May 9, 2013, to disclose never before revealed information about how and why
their sons along with 26 others died in a fatal helicopter crash in
Afghanistan on August 6, 2011, just a few months after the successful
raid on the compound of Osama Bin Laden that resulted in the master
terrorist's death.

Accompanying the families of these dead Navy SEAL Team VI special operations servicemen will be retired military experts verifying their accounts of how and why the government is as much responsible for the deaths of their sons as is the Taliban.

The areas of inquiry at the press conference will include but not be limited to:

1.
How President Obama and Vice President Biden, having disclosed on May
4, 2011, that Navy Seal Team VI carried out the successful raid on Bin
Laden’s compound resulting in the master terrorist’s death, put a
retaliatory target on the backs of the fallen heroes.

2. How and why high-level military officials sent these Navy SEAL Team VI heroes into
battle without special operations aviation and proper air support.

3. How and why middle-level military brass carries out too many ill-prepared missions to boost their standing with top-level military brass and the Commander-in-Chief in order that they can be promoted.

4. How the military
restricts special operations servicemen and others from engaging in
timely return fire when fired upon by the Taliban and other terrorist
groups and interests, thus jeopardizing the servicemen’s lives.

5. How and why
the denial of requested pre-assault fire may have contributed to the
shoot down of the Navy SEAL Team VI helicopter and the death of these
special operations servicemen.

6. How Afghani forces accompanying the Navy SEAL Team VI servicemen on the helicopter were not properly vetted and how they
possibly disclosed classified information to the Taliban about the mission, resulting in the shoot down of the helicopter.

7. How military brass, while prohibiting any mention of a Judeo-Christian God, invited a Muslim cleric to the funeral
for the fallen Navy SEAL Team VI heroes who disparaged in Arabic the
memory of these servicemen by damning them as infidels to Allah. A video
of the Muslim cleric’s “prayer” will be shown with a certified translation.

"This press conference takes on special significance given that our government has over the last twelve years since September 11th committed brave American
servicemen to wars in Iraq and Afghanistan that, in large part as a
result of politics, were poorly conceived of and implemented, resulting
in the deaths of thousands and the maiming of tens of thousands of our
brave heroes. To make matters even worse, America has effectively lost these wars," stated Larry Klayman, legal counsel for the families.

Families of Navy SEALs killed in downed Chinook blame Obama and military brass

It was the elites-of-elites Navy SEAL Team 6 who, on May 2, 2011,
broke into Osama bin Laden’s secret compound in Abbotabad, Pakistan, and
assassinated the Al Qaeda leader. Team 6′s exploits greatly boosted
Obama’s then-sagging ratings. The shameless POS also took personal
credit for the achievement of Team 6.

Three months later, on August 6, 2011, 22 members of Navy SEAL Team 6
were among the 30 American servicemen and 8 Afghans who were killed
when their Chinook helicopter (call sign Extortion 17) reportedly was
shot down by Taliban rebels in Afghanistan. According to the New York Times , military officials said none of the crash victims had been on the Bin Laden mission.

This morning (May 9, 2013), the families of three SEALs (Aaron Vaughn, Michael Strange, John Faas) and a National Guardsman (Patrick Hamburger)
who were killed in the Chinook crash, gave a press conference in the
National Press Club in Washington, D.C. Also present were retired U.S.
military officers and politicians (Michele Bachmann and Allen West).

Here’s the video of the press conference, which is nearly 3 hours long.

In this post, I will report on the first part of the press conference. Part Two will be posted tomorrow.

The press conference began with Larry Klayman, president of Freedom
Watch and founder of the citizen watchdog group, Judicial Watch,
delivering the introductory remarks. Klayman summarized the families’
grievances as follows:

• Obama and Joe Biden improperly revealed the identities of the Navy
  SEALs who were on the mission to assassinate Osama bin Laden, thereby
  putting “a target” on the backs of the SEALs.
• The Chinook helicopter was “inadequate,” as was its pilot.
• When the Chinook was attacked by the Taliban, our side “couldn’t return fire” and was “handcuffed.”
• At the funeral in Bagram Airfield in Kabul, Afghanistan, for our
  servicemen, Jesus’ name couldn’t be mentioned but instead an imam
  prayed.

Next, a video of the funeral was shown (beginning at 0:14:50):

At
the 0:17:37 mark, a military chaplain wearing a black stole said: “We
will begin this … [inaudible] military …[inaudible] commend the souls of
the departed into your loving care. Amen.”

The chaplain immediately is followed by an imam reciting a Muslim
prayer in Arabic. His face is partially obscured in this screen shot,
but you can see he’s a Middle-Easterner:

Here’s
the imam’s “prayer,” which the video translated into English. Words
between brackets are the video-maker’s explanatory comments on the
prayer:

“Amen. I shelter in Allah from the
devil who has been cast with stones. In the name of Allah the merciful
forgiver. The companions of the “fire” (the sinners and infidels who are
fodder for hell fire) are not equal with the companions of heaven. The
companions of heaven (Muslims) are the winners. Had we sent this Koran
to a mountain, you would have seen the mountain prostrated in fear of
Allah (mocking the God of Moses). Such examples are what we present to
the people, so that they would think (repent and convert to Islam).
Blessings are to your God (Allah), the God of glory of what they
describe. And peace be upon the messengers (prophets) and thanks be to
Allah the lord of both universes (mankind and Jinn).”

The video ends with a photo mosaic of the servicemen who were killed
in the crash, followed by still shots of the downed Chinook:

The next speaker is Billy Vaughn, the impassioned father of Navy SEAL Aaron Vaughn.

Vaughn began by saying his son was not on the “right chopper” that
fateful day, August 6, 2011, because Obama had increased the number of
special op missions from a monthly average of 56 in 2009, to 186/month
in 2010, to as many as 334 a month between August 2010 and July 2011, a
month before his son died in the Chinook crash. A direct result of the
radical increase in the number of special op missions was the scarcity
of available MH-47 copters. Vaughn maintains that if his son had gone on
a MH-47 that night, he would have had a better chance of surviving the
fire fight.

Vaughn continues:

“But according to a 3-star [Vice] Admiral [Robert] Harward‘s
statement to the grieving families that day, ‘We want to win the hearts
and minds of the enemy.’ Aaron Vaughn did not become a Navy SEAL Team
Six to win the hearts and minds of jihadists. He became a Navy SEAL to
fight for this [American] Republic and defeat the enemy.

Any American flag officer who does not want to defeat the enemy needs to find another job. Any man who sits in that White House who does not want to defeat … ….

I have two questions: Why did they [Aaron and the other servicemen]
not ride in the right chopper? Why did they not shoot down the enemy? …

The record will show that the Islamists are responsible for the deaths of the Americans. But
I submit to you today that the U.S. government and many high-ranking
military people own more credit for the shoot down than the Taliban.
Political correctness, building the esteem of the Afghans, leveling of
the playing field, and failure by the Obama Administration to name the
enemy and to accurately identify the savage ideology our warriors are up
against have made possible … [inaudible]. This administration
apparently went to extreme efforts to make sure that the enemy Osama bin
Laden had a proper burial. Our president was outraged when the Koran
was burnt. But then those who die for the Republic (pointing his finger
at the video screen behind him, referring to the funeral at Bagram),
this is allowed to go on. To steal their First Amendment rights, to
steal their religious rights, to be violated by Islam.

General [Joseph] Votel,
it is sad that our troops are under your command. It is sad, General,
after the imam damned our warriors, you stood and talked about how we’re
one, about how we’re brothers.

Mr. Obama, President Obama, you need to step up or step down.
You must step up and defend our warriors.  You must step up and show
the outrage that you have shown when the religion of Islam is
disrespected….

I tell you today, we have sheep and wolves in high places, and they are getting our sheepdogs killed unnecessarily. But I will also tell you today, that no plan of Hell or scheme of man can separate Aaron Vaughn from the love of God that is Jesus Christ, our Lord. Not the imam or Washington, DC.  Aaron’s God is the God of the Bible.”

Aaron C. Vaughn, Navy Chief Special Warfare Operator (SEAL), 30, left behind a wife, 2-year-old son, and a 2-month-old daughter.

If you don’t tear up at the anguished cries of Aaron Vaughn’s dad,
then your heart must be as black and stony as President Lucifer’s —
assuming he actually has one.

Obama should be held responsible for the deaths of every one of the over sixty NATO soldiers killed by their Afghan “allies” since January 2012, the four Americans killed in Benghazi, etc. if American citizen Saeed Abedini dies in prison, obama will be responsible. these are all victims of the politically correct unwillingness to acknowledge islam for what it is really is.

This betrayal must be further exposed together with those behind it.
Our troops face the same restrictions as yours – and our casualties are proportunatly the same. Politics has to be removed from the fields of conflict – our dead command it.

Obama should be impeached not for only lying but for treason, sedition, aiding & abetting the enemy, murder for hire, and undermining our Constitution. I saw this Saturday and I wept ed for the Vaughn’s, their loss and all the other family present who suffered tremendous losses at this National Press Club Conference. I am further outraged for all our men in the military that have their hands tied behind their back-policy of non-engagement of the enemy”; or other non sense, due to political correctness, appeasement of the Obama Administration not to name the enemy! This is outrages. Is anyone else connecting the dots here and between this event with Seal Team Six, Benghazi and Boston and a lot more of national atrocities from this Administration? I noted that Bridgette from Act For America was there as well as Allan Wests but I have not seen anything on either Web page concerning this abomination? Has anyone else? More importantly What can I do besides contacting my Senators? Congressional Hearing-absolutely, Impeachment-I second that as well. This as got to STOP. WE are loosing our Country to these idiots and treasonous people. Thanks all the best,
