Letter writers outraged by Toronto Board of Rabbis statement

Check out the fierce response to the traitorous quislings on the Toronto Board of Rabbis who condemned me and our fight for individual rights and equality for all before the law. Here is my speech in Canada that these Jewicidal rabbis wanted canceled.

"Letter writers outraged by Toronto Board of Rabbis statement" May 28, 2013 | Jewish Tribune (thanks to Gary)

In Toronto, several individuals expressed outrage at the Toronto
Board of Rabbis (TBR) for its statement against Pamela Geller and the
Jewish Defense League (JDL). Following are excerpts from public letters
to the TBR from concerned community members and activists.

Story continues below advertisement

“You accuse Geller of being known for her ‘extreme criticism of
Muslims in language that is intended to shock and ridicule,’ but you
offer no examples of her words to support your claim.

“There can only be friendship with those in the Muslim community who
respect our right to be proud Jews in our wonderful, diverse Canadian
community. And there are many of them – but, sadly, not all of them.
While you are quick to point out the ‘radical fringe’ in the Muslim
community, I have been unsuccessful in finding your pointed criticism of
the ‘radical fringe’ in our own community.”
– Rochelle Wilner, Toronto

“Some Jews in America did not take the lead up to the Holocaust
seriously; some Jews, and even some rabbis, wanted to appease the
leaders of the day, not upset their positions in American society, and
counselled other Jews and those in power to ignore the pleas of other
Jews in America…. Pamela Geller is one of the brave ones who is willing
to put her career on the line and throw all her energy into an endeavour
that other Jewish leaders have failed to understand/support and, most
disturbingly, these Jewish leaders often reveal a disdainful and twisted
reaction when people like Geller speak out…. The TRB is endangering
their community, and especially Jews, when they condemn that which ought
to be praised and supported and instead back those who are killing our
people as we speak and have vowed to kill many more in the future.”
– Gary Gerofsky, Hamilton

“During the Holocaust, so too did many Jewish leaders, rabbis
included, decide to keep a low profile and stifle cries by many
individual Jews to intervene in Europe….. They didn’t want to rock the
boat and, Heaven forbid, become controversial.

“The current war against Radical Islam that we are fighting is no
less a threat. It demands that we speak up wherever and whenever
possible. In your condemnation of Geller, you make blanket accusations
without identifying even one example of her hate speech against Muslims.

“In fact, she is a friend to moderate Muslims. She helps protect
Muslim women…. I didn’t read any comments from your board attacking
Muslim terrorist groups.”
– Leon Kushner, Toronto

“Far too many are no better than the appeasers who, in the 1930s,
felt it would be better to remain quiet and not rock the boat as the
Nazis came to power…. In fact, they’re even worse, because now, with the
lessons of history, the ‘official Jews’ should know what horror their
appeasement of evil can bring.”
– Richard Klagsburn, Toronto

Yossi Winter, Toronto Zionist Council president, hails from Budapest. He told the Jewish Tribune
“I
grew up in Budapest, and the Nazis occupied Hungary just after my Bar
Mitzvah. I remember that many Jews from the countryside were being taken
to ‘work camps.’ A man once came to our synagogue to warn us about what
was happening. He was dishevelled and distraught. He went up in the
middle of the Torah reading and said that he escaped from Auschwitz,
where he saw that thousands of Hungarian Jews were arriving daily on the
trains and being taken to the gas chambers. He said, ‘Don’t believe
that you will be taken to work camps. Save yourselves. Run to the forest
and hide.’

“The community leaders said he was inciting – just like today with
Pamela Geller – and they threw him out. It made such an impression on
me. I don’t know what happened to him, but I still have nightmares about
it.”

The testimony by the Hungarian Jew is interesting in that for the first few years of WW II, no Jews were deported from Hungary to concentration camps. It was only after German troops occupied Hungary late in WW II did the deportations begin. So it was easier for self-deluding Hungarian Jews to believe that the old normal would be the new normal, despite stories known about Jews in Poland, Russia and Germany itself. These Toronto so called rabbis are acting just like the Hungarian Jews who threw the Auschwitz escapee out of their synagogue for bringing them the truth.

How is it that no one pays attention to factual specificity- history , facts that are irrefutable? There for all to see! Making a comparison between Europe and Arabia should be easy enough, especially for educated Rabbis.
Europe is a collection of people not a specific religion and Arabia is also a collection of people not a specific religion. By definition the Arab identity is defined independently of religious identity, and pre-dates the rise of Islam, with historically attested Arab Christian kingdoms and Arab Jewish tribes. Today, however, most Arabs are Muslim. How did this come about if not through expansionist Islam ,itself a colonial Imperialist Apartheid ideology. What is interesting, and nearly if not always over looked by the main stream media is how the Arabian landscape out side the borders of Israel is no longer a collection of people – Arab Christian, Arab Jews among other Arab peoples. Arabia’s Jews have been effectively cleansed. Hundreds of thousands of Arab Jews lived throughout the Arab world today they are no longer .
So one can conclude, factually, that the Nazis failed to ethnically cleanse Europe of it’s European Jews, while the Muslims were successful in cleansing Arabia of its Arab Jews. What ever happened to “we will never forget”?
To another point – factual specificity and context, take a hard look inside the borders of Israel and we see Arabia as it once was. A collection of people in a Jewish state. Israeli Jews, Christians and Muslims and other peoples. Isn’t this what Arabia once looked like, a collection of people not a specific expansionist ideology that denies others any rights?
Arabs/Muslims / Christians are safer and have more rights in Israel, that is 27000 SQ.KM. in size than in any of the 22 Arab countries.
There are more Muslims/ Arabs in the 27000 sq. km that is a Jewish state than there are Jews left in the 22 Arab states, commonly referred to as Arabia!
Try refuting the irrefutable ! Israel is not Apartheid, Expansionist, Imperialist, Genocidal , these are all outright lies meant to distract the masses of people who have yet to take the time to learn factual specificity- facts!
Of course Pamela Geller is right. The Nazis failed to cleanse Europe of its Jews while the Muslims succeeded in cleansing Arabia of its Jews only because at some point the world saw the threat and acted out of concern for their own survival not the Jews. So who else but Jews to act in their own self preservation?
Rabbis should be ashamed of themselves. They forgot the lessons of the Holocaust. Every day Muslims call for the destruction of the state of Israel, Zionism but they really mean Jews. If that were not a fact than how is it that an Arab Muslim or an Arab Christian are not referred to as Settlers in the West Bank , yet an Arab Jew from the same Arabia is referred to as an Israeli not a Je from Arabia, and therefore is a settler, making the Israeli/ Palestinian conflict really the Islamic/ Jewish conflict.
Can Muslims be trusted when they already cleansed Arabia of it’s Arab Jews , while they call for the cleansing of Jews from Judean lands. Would you trust the Nazis if they had been successful in cleansing Europe of its European Jews?
“We shall never forget”! Try refuting the irrefutable!

Jack-
A frisson went through me as I read that statement from the president of the Toronto Zionist Council. Elie Weisel, in “Night”, described “Moshe the Beadle” who had escaped from Auschwitz and who tried to warn Hungarian Jews but was dismissed by the Jewish community there. I wonder if Yossi Winter actually heard Moshe’s desperate appeals.
But I urge shruggers to be cognizant of the fact that, aside from the very human desire to block out impending calamity, part of the reason Moshe’s words were not heeded was that he lacked credibility. He simply did not have the gravitas needed to convince his fellow Jews of the danger they faced.
More importantly, that is why some of what I read on this site makes me uneasy. It is why I would like to see a certain level of respect- if not outright agreement- between say, the founders of AFDI and the likes of respected scholars such as Daniel Pipes.

Here we see “Panic’em” Geller once again attempting to mess with your head in the opening words of this post before pasting the content of the letters she received. She is once again manipulating the truth in order to fit in with her own established “cult of personality”.
Anyone who has taken the time to read the statement made by the TBR knows full well that they were not condemning her personally, nor were they condemning her fight for individual rights. In fact the statement explicitly says that “The TBR is a strong supporter of freedom of speech for all, including Ms. Geller.”
I can understand why the TBR “…finds Ms. Geller’s views distasteful”. Anyone who has declared themselves on a war footing, as Ms. Geller has, and has proven willing to repeatedly use deception in order to manipulate an audience, as Ms. Geller does, is not a controversial figure at all. These are the hallmarks of a dishonest person who believes that the ends justify the means.
Ms. Geller repeatedly demonstrates this type of manipulation of fact under the banner of “Truth is the new hate speech.”, (as if, by implication, all that comes out of her is truth).
Objective truth is a product of reason, and she proves time and time again, that she is either incompetent at applying reason to her arguments, or what is much, much worse, that she is unwilling to apply it.

Regnad-
The TRB said, “Pamela Geller, a blogger who is known for her extreme criticism of Muslims in language that is intended to shock and ridicule.”
Not personal? Perhaps not- but highly critical, albeit with a grain of truth to the claim. She can shock- she reports shocking things without pulling punches. Ridicule? Well I don’t particularly see that, but I would not care to argue the point.
[Ms. Geller] has proven willing to repeatedly use deception in order to manipulate an audience
Perhaps you would be good enough to tell us where Pamela has used deception. Kindly be specific in your example- refer to her own comments, not what people have said about her. And if fail to do that, I will hold you up as a quintessential example of the kind of scurrilous fraud that continually calumniates a courageous woman who is warning the world of a savagery that threatens civilization.

Larry S. Said: “Perhaps you would be good enough to tell us where Pamela has used deception. Kindly be specific in your example- refer to her own comments, not what people have said about her.”
Larry. I’m sorry you can’t see it, but in fact, I just did. She mischaracterized the TBR statement at the top of this post.
Then again, if that is not to your liking, you don’t’ have to go much further at all. I direct you here:

The headline itself, pronounces facts not in evidence anywhere but in the confused mind of the author of the headline. The assailants are clearly stated as being unknown, yet Ms. Geller has cast them as Muslims. That is propaganda…or in other words, conscious deception. Of course now that I’ve mentioned it, it may be sanitized after the fact. We shall see, but I have done a screen capture and placed it in my vault.
This is a well-established pattern of behavior on the part of Ms. Geller both here in her blog, and in her public talks of which there is a huge public record.

She mischaracterized the TBR statement at the top of this post.
I certainly see no mis-characterization. This is what she said:
Check out the fierce response to the traitorous quislings on the Toronto Board of Rabbis who condemned me
You may not care for their characterization as “traitorous quislings”, but this is a blog, not an academic treatise. And they certainly did condemn her: known for her extreme criticism of Muslims in language that is intended to shock and ridicule.” Just where in this do you see that Pamela engaged in deception?
The assailants are clearly stated as being unknown, yet Ms. Geller has cast them as Muslims.
Well well, now Regnad. What the Lancadhire Telegraph actually reported was Police said they were looking for a gang of Asian men in connection with the attack. So there were some clues about their identity. As Pamela has pointed out any number of times, in the UK, “Asian” is virtually synonymous with “Muslim”. Is it a certainty that these “Asians” were in fact Muslim? No, I suppose not. But the odds very heavily in favor of her interpretation. Again, this is a blog, not an academic treatise.
But, sir, deception involves intent to portray something as true that is in false. Pamela clearly is not doing that. In fact, she even states her premise here:
Again for those new to media scrubbing, sanitizing, deception and obfuscation … “Asian,” “immigrant,” “youth,” “immigrant youth,” … all mean the same thing. The prohibited M word …. Even in the conceivable but unlikely event that her conjecture that the thugs are Muslim proves unfounded, she has clearly stated her assumption: that does not constitute deception. You, sir, want to quibble about niceties of logic and language as people are being massacred.
Your attempt to portray Pamela as deceptive is pathetic. Sorry bub, but it is you who engages in deception. You are a lousy rotten liar and fraud. I’ll bet you make your ancestors proud.

You said: “I certainly see no mis-characterization.”
The last sentence Geller wrote above was: “Here is my speech in Canada that these Jewicidal rabbis wanted canceled”
In this sentence she casts herself as a victim and goes on to assign intent to the members of the TBR that is not indicated in the statement. What is clearly indicated by the statement that the TBR admits Geller’s right to say whatever she wants, but that the TBR’s desire is to make it clearly known that it wishes to distance itself from any linkage between Geller and the TBR’s ideas of propriety. These two intentions are not the same thing, and any attempt to spin it otherwise is deception.
You further said: “Is it a certainty that these “Asians” were in fact Muslim? No, I suppose not. But the odds very heavily in favor of her interpretation. Again, this is a blog, not an academic treatise.
Son, you have my pity. That you can’t see Geller’s mastery of propaganda or won’t see it is not my responsibility.
Ms. Geller has established a cult of personality that depends on people believing that she always tells the truth. I already mentioned one of her most heavily used catch phrases: “Truth is the new hate speech.” She uses this phrase in order to cast herself in the role of the victim and play on the sympathy of the listener, but that is only peripheral to her explicitly stated stance.
By her own words during a 60 minutes interview, the following exchange between Scott Pelley and Pamela Geller occurred.
Pelley: “To what degree are you obliged to tell the truth in your blog? ….to be accurate in your blog?
Geller: “That’s all I do is tell the truth.”
If one is to believe that statement, then Geller is morally self-bound by a very high standard indeed. Occasional lapses and mistakes are forgivable. A pattern of behavior that indicates the contrary is, as I mentioned before, either incompetent or malevolent…or perhaps one other idea tied to the idea of one’s self-esteem.
“Rationality is man’s basic virtue, the source of all his other virtues. Man’s basic vice, the source of all his evils, is the act of unfocusing his mind, the suspension of his consciousness, which is not blindness, but the refusal to see, not ignorance, but the refusal to know.” — AR
Calling me names is powerless to change this simple truth.

I can see now just why so many Jews become assimilationist or becomne outright Christians. There seems to be a cancer among the Jewish people both in America including Canada, and in Israel. A cancer that wants to destroy Torah Judaism and all of the Jewish People.
Looking at events as they unfold in Israel day after day, one begins to wonder just why the Jewish State exists in the first place. It certainly does not protect the Jews who live in Israel, nor do the Jews who live in the New World protect its Jews in any great way.
Over 70% of Americas Jews voted for a man who hates their guts and the State of Israel to boot, Should tell you something about the schitzophrenic stature of the Jewish People. If Hitler couldn’t kill all of the Jewish People, the Jewish People are doing a good job themselves, in killing each other.
The fact that the Toronto Rabbis did not come out in support of Pamela Geller shows you just how widespread this cancer has become. If the Muslims are smart, they should just lay back and allow the Jews to kill themselves.
