WPIX: When “Rabbis” Attack

17

The local TV news channel, WPIX, certainly has reached new lows in propagandistic reporting. Last night's news segment on the Great Neck brouhaha being staged by Islamic supremacists and their pasty-faced rabbi shills would be comical if it were The Onion. WPIX's print story is not so bad; the accompanying video above is viciously biased (here).

The broadcast starts off decribing me as the blogger who posted pictures of Muhammad as a pig. No context no explanation, just that. Getting that talking point from Hamas groups (like) and terror TV like RT and Al Jizz. The Muhammad pig cartoon they are referring to is one that an Danish imam added to the infamous Muhammad cartoons printed by the Danish newspaper Jyllands Posten, in an attempt to gin up anger among Muslims against the Danes. The imam presented the Muhammad-as-pig cartoon as if it were one of the original Danish cartoons, which it wasn't, and now WPIX is presenting it as something I created, which isn't true, either.

The original Atlas post is here. The caption on the Muhammad-as-pig photo is: "Supposed to be
Muhammad as half pig, but actually an altered photograph of a guy at a French
pig-squealing contest
." So they take a photo that I show is not Muhammad at all, and present it as if I was depicting Muhammad as a pig. Unbelievable.

Story continues below advertisement

And they depict me saying, "Hitler was inspired by Islam." Taken out of context, it sounds absurd. But I was referring to Hitler's invocation of Armenian Genocide as justification for his genocide. Hitler said: "I have issued the command — and I'll have anybody who utters but one
word of criticism executed by a firing squad — that our war aim does not
consist in reaching certain lines, but in the physical destruction of
the enemy. Accordingly, I have placed my death-head formations in
readiness — for the present only in the East — with orders to them to
send to death mercilessly and without compassion, men, women, and
children of Polish derivation and language. Only thus shall we gain the
living space (Lebensraum) which we need. Who, after all, speaks today of the annihilation of the Armenians?"

Rabbi Jerome Davidson says that I spread "hate speech." I would like to see him quote even one statement from me that's hate speech. He can look in 25,000 Atlas posts, two books, and hundreds of articles I have written, and he will find no hate speech. He is bearing false witness, and that is a sin. He also says that I called Muslims animals. I have never called anyone an animal. He may be referring to my ads that said, "In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man. Support Israel. Defeat jihad." This isn't, as is commonly claimed, calling all Muslims savages. Do all Muslims support jihad terror attacks against Israeli civilians? I was calling jihadis savage, and they are. Jihad is evil. The rabbi's sanction of jihad by his silence is evil.

Rabbi Davidson "begged" the rabbi at Great Neck Synagogue to stop a Jewish woman from speaking at his shul. Did he beg the imams with whom he schmoozes to reform the antisemitic hadiths that fire up Islamic armies to wage jihad against Israel? Did he beg the Muslims he works with to do something about the Jew-hatred inspired by the Quranic text that calls Jews the worst enemies of the Muslims (5:82)?

The WPIX story invokes the ADL's condemnation of me. The ADL attempts to manipulate the political discourse in
this country by smearing as a "hate group" anyone whose political views they
dislike. Yet the ADL has condemned Muslim attacks on Jews in language much like my own — and then turned and attacked me for saying essentially the same thing.
Their “hate group” label is just a propaganda tool to demonize and marginalize
defenders of freedom.

WPIX uses several clips from this interview at RT, in which I spar with a relentlessly hostile interviewer over the Ground Zero Mosque controversy. WPIX is even worse than RT, in clipping my statements completely out of context so as to make me look as bad as possible.

Also, speaking of making me look as bad as possible, this is not important, but it is noteworthy: take a look at the lighting in this WPIX interview. I look like a zombie — and yet this was filmed the same hour as the CBS show I posted about here — one was at 1:30 and the other at 2pm. But in the CBS interview I look like a normal person and in the WPIX interview I look dead, or undead.

Controversial anti-jihad blogger will bring armed guards to synagogue speech Mary Murphy, WPIX

GREAT
NECK, New York (PIX11) -  The head rabbi at the Great Neck Synagogue in
Nassau County was defending his decision Tuesday to allow a
controversial blogger to speak there this weekend.

The blogger is Pamela Geller–who has spoken out repeatedly against
jihad and the code of “sharia” in Islamist governments like Egypt. She
told PIX 11, “If one little Jew can’t have a talk at a shul on a Sunday
morning, I think it speaks to how bad things are.”

Geller gained prominence several years ago, when she strongly
condemned efforts to build a “mega-mosque” near the Ground Zero site in
lower Manhattan, close to where more than 2,700 people were killed in
the September 11, 2001 terror attacks.

She told PIX she’s received many e-mail threats from overseas since
then, saying “They’re going to execute me, shoot me, or bash my skull on
the sidewalk.”   Geller told PIX 11 she will be traveling to the Great
Neck synagogue with her “usual team of armed guards,” adding “I’m more
afraid to stay quiet.”

PamelaGeller

Some fellow Jews are denouncing Geller’s appearance at the Men’s Club
of the orthodox synagogue. Jerome Davidson–Rabbi Emeritus of the Temple
Beth-El in Great Neck–said “The synagogue is no place for a hate
speech,” adding “She put posters in the subways that compared Muslims to
animals.”

Davidson said he “begged” Rabbi Dale Robakoff of the Great Neck
Synagogue to cancel Geller ‘s appearance this Sunday. Geller will appear
at the temple with Gregory Buckley, Sr. of Oceanside, whose son–Marine
Lance Corporal, Gregory Buckley Junior–was shot dead by an Afghani
police officer last summer.

PIX 11 spoke to Rabbi Polakoff at the Great Neck Synagogue Tuesday,
but he would only agree to read from a statement. It said of Geller, “We
believe that it is important to hear what she has to say and we are
confident that intelligent and fair minded individuals will consider her
views in reaching their own conclusions.”

Wow. Now THAT is super discouraging. Everyone is so afraid of the truth about anything any more.
All you can do, Pam, is keep talking, keep telling them the truth.
VERY silly for people, especially Jews, to believe that they can “befriend” Islam. They are so ignorant, it’s alarming.

My understanding is there was a fairly close connection between high-level Nazis- including Hitler- and the sitting Mufti of Jerusalem:

http://atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com/atlas_shrugs/auschwitz-blueprints/
While presumably Hitler needed no spiritual sanction for his Final Solution, I think the record shows he was encouraged by the alliance with Muslim religious leaders about how to resolve the “Jewish question”.

There it is again. A full blown lie. Pam it’s not up to us to try to interpret what these Rabbi’s mean when they lie about what you have said or didn’t say, as this one who claimed you called all muslims animals.
More than likely, he is listening to the talking points of his so called friends in the Muslim community. What about his own Jewish community? Does he not have the ability to think critically about where this whole event is originating from?
You will be speaking at an engagement where Mr. Buckley, a dad who lost his son will be speaking too. This Rabbi, rather than get his knickers all in a twist, should instead, come to the speaking engagement and become engaged. He may learn a thing or two about you, instead of listening to the cries of his Muslim community members, who hate you.
Me and my husband will be there in support of you and Mr. Buckley.

Among eastern religions, Hitler described religious leaders such as “Confucius, Buddha, and Mohammed” as providers of “spiritual sustenance”. In this context, Hitler’s connection to Mohammad Amin al-Husseini, the Mufti of Jerusalem — which included asylum in 1941, the honorary rank of an SS Major-General, and a “respected racial genealogy” — has been interpreted more as a sign of respect than political expedience. Hitler expressed admiration for the Muslim military tradition and directed Himmler to initiate Muslim SS Divisions as a matter of policy. However, Nazi-era Minister of Armaments and War Production Albert Speer acknowledged that Hitler was only cooperating with Muslim figures, such as al-Husseini, because he felt the antisemitic views they shared would eventually help him win power and influence over the Middle East in the long run. According to Speer, Hitler stated in private, “The Mohammedan religion too would have been much more compatible to us than Christianity. Why did it have to be Christianity with its meekness and flabbiness?”

Our religious “leaders” are betraying us. The pope kissing the feet of muslims, Robert McManus, the Roman Catholic bishop of Worcester, Massachusetts dropping Robert Spencer from speaking at a conference there, rabbis in New York state shilling for islam and accusing Pamela Geller of “hate speech” while ignoring the REAL hate islamic thugs feel for Jews and other infidels.
Are they unaware of islamic atrocities committed against Jews and Christians on a daily basis, in the Middle East, Africa and Asia?
There is no excuse! These men are in charge of their flocks and they need to be informed. I’m all for peaceful coexistence, but it’s only wishful thinking when muslim fanatics slaughter infidels all over the place. Ignoring this EVIL and condemning people like Pamela Geller who is brave enough to expose it, is not only utter cowardice. These people are condoning pure evil, under the guise of phony religious “outreach”.

These are liberal-left, largely (still) loyal Democratic Party Jews who have become, very willingly, pathetic, obsequious fools, to the point of pathological dishonesty. Atlas is a shining light of truth for freedom; that these lib busy bodies have the gall to make this a controversial, public issue, questioning the Great Neck congregation’s own choices and agenda, only reflects on the truly contemptible nature of the lib-left. The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem was Hitler’s preeminent ally and admirer during the Shoah, while the Koran is full of murderous vitriol against Jews. Like it or not, the Grand Mufti is still regarded as a hero to most of the muslim world to this day, including at the very highest echelons of muslim leadership; too bad the truth is embarrassing…

“Rabbi” Davidson is without excuse. He is complicit with evil. As Pamela has pointed out so prophetically, Mr. Davidson will answer to a higher authority.
Search the Scriptures: The One Living and Eternal G-d is NOT sympathetic (or gentle) with those who intentionally mislead their flock or abuse their trust. “Rabbi” Davidson should be tearing his clothes and sitting in ashes but his arrogance makes him blind. (Wonder how much the Saudis paid him?)
Pamela will go with a mantle of authority and surrounded by all of our prayers. And I don’t CARE how WPIX & RT tries to portray our Warrior Princess of SION – they’ve already LOST! May the devils TAKE them and may TRUTH prevail!

“82  Thou wilt certainly find the most violent of people in enmity against the believers to be the Jews and the idolators; and thou wilt find the nearest in friendship to the believers to be those who say, We are Christians. That is because there are priests and monks among them and because they are not proud”

This is the correct translation of the verse that Ms Gellar referred to in her article above. This indicates the Jews of prophet Mohammad’s time took askance to his views on Islam and derided him to their people. It does not say he was an enemy of them. He befriended them in their faith and taught them Islam they should practice in their lives. They obeyed him however they fought him as well. When he befriended them they turned against him in his faith to befriend them and tried to poison him. They were averse to his teachings as we are averse to your comments about him in your article. It may be possible you will come to an agreement with us not to belittle him and we will not belittle your leader who is the lady you call Ms Gellar.

Omar – I read the Koran decades ago, at the encouragement of a Moroccan Sufi acquaintance. This was long before the current upsurge is world Islamic fundamentalism, note well. After reading it, I wrote to him that the Koran is one of the most anti-Semitic (i.e. anti-Jewish) documents I had ever come across.
For you to pretend that “the Jews” were nicely treated by Mohammed and his gang of thugs is cynical misrepresentation of fact. They were cruelly mass-murdered for no reason other than their just disbelief in this pseudo-prophet and his idiotic followers.

Pamela –
God bless you for trying – and don’t worry, you will win at the end of the game, because your cause (freedom from tyranny) is just and good.
This is the nature of leadership – weaker souls are not always able to keep pace; forgive them and keep fighting.
God is surely with you, as he surely hates the evil people (the Moslems) who kill, rape, steal and lie allegedly in His name.

Ha-ha. Omar is here trying to drive a wedge between Christian and Jewish opponents of Islam. Look at events in the Middle East and Africa, and see for yourself how Christians are being dealt with by their “friendly” Moslem neighbors.

@Omar-
I hope I am never so cowed as the leadership of Great Neck Synagogue that I will cease to proclaim that Muhammad was a liar, a con-artist, a pedophile, a murderer. He wasn’t simply “averse” to Jews, and other who mocked him: he had them murdered. That all presumes he even existed in anything like the form Muslims believe.
You may think those are sterling qualities in a Prophet. Well I don’t: you so-called was simply one of long series of thugs masquerading under the guise of religion.
Oh, I suppose I already am cowed. I would not, for fear of my life, say what I just wrote to a group of Muslims. I know the risk that they would maim or murder me would be high. All in the name of the “Religion of Peace”, you know. What kind of pathetic excuse for a religion promotes murder?

The most holey and perfect man in Islam, whose word and deed are to be admired was responsible for slaughtering, enslaving or expelling all the Jews from Saudi Arabia, which is why, even to this day, muslimes still rant and rave about Khaybar:
“Khaybar Khaybar ya yahud, Jaish Muhammad saya’ud”
