Gay Leaders/Activists Proudly Support AFDI Ads on Muslim Oppression of Gays

26

Salon, in its continuing holy war against me (and those who do this work)
is running a scurrilous and vicious attack piece on our gay ads: “Stop trying to split gays and Muslims.”

In this latest smear job, Chris Stedman accuses me of “trying to split gays and Muslims”:

Anti-Islam crusader Pam Geller’s effort to
foment hate between the two groups is based on lies and doomed to fail

Story continues below advertisement

Gay atheist chaplain (now that’s a mouthful) Chris Stedman is — get this — the “Assistant Humanist Chaplain and
the Values in Action Coordinator for the Humanist Community at Harvard” (the only thing missing from this heaping pile of nonsense is the wizard of oz).
Stedman is a humanist atheist chaplain who viciously attacks human rights activists. What will Harvard think of next?

Salon has repeatedly attacked my work and is carrying out a campaign of smears and defamation against me – most notoriously, it ridiculed my warnings of a Muslim Brotherhood takeover in Egypt back in January 2011 (The Blogger who still Loves Mubarak). I am still waiting for a mea culpa on that one.

I submitted a rebuttal to Stedman’s silly attack piece at Salon. They have refused to run it (*shocka* — more of today’s fascist propaganda masquerading as journalism). I will submit it elsewhere, but in the meantime have a look at the support we receive in the Gay community (below).

“Michael Lucas is the most mainstream, provocative and controversial figure in gay adult entertainment. In his rise to the top of one of the world’s most successful porn empires he has been called savvy, determined, abrasive, intelligent, disciplined, iron-fisted, blunt and ruthlessly honest.”

Michael Lucas has said of my work, “You are doing a fantastic job
uniting people against evil and waking Americans up. Gays should join the anti-Islamic movement.”

The national news magazine The Advocate wrote: “Michael Lucas has used the stardom porn gave him as a platform to speak out against drugs, unsafe sex, child exploitation, anti-Semitism, religious oppression of gays, and a host of other social problems.” Passionately committed to social activism, sexual liberation and fearless individuality, Michael Lucas has moved to the forefront of his industry and beyond. Here is Michael Lucas’s statment:

Dear Pamela:
There is a big difference
between gay people and gay political organizations. Gay people usually
have common sense and know very well that Islam is a big danger. On the
other hand, we have LGBT political organizations which are obsessed with
political correctness against all the facts on the ground. Whenever I
write about Islam, I get more and more comments in support of my views.
In fact, there is a dramatic change between the tenor of comments I
received even a few years ago and the comments I get today. For all the
information which comes from Muslim countries, most LGBT people have now
a good idea that Islam is not their friend, to say the least. I just
returned from Tunisia (and I travelled half the Muslim world) and I
think gay Muslims, or I should rather say gay Arabs, would agree with
your ads because they know first hand the persecution they undergo on a
daily basis, It is a shame that, instead of fighting for the rights of
LGBT people in Muslim countries, “political gays”  are fighting against
you. Please feel free to use any of my quotes, from what I have written
before to what I am writing you now.And you can also cite the comments I
am receiving in the commentary section of the Advocate. You can also go
to the website called Queerty and put my name in the search. You will
see that Queerty wrote numerouse of disgusting articles about me in
response to my Advocate writings. But lots of LGBT readers still agree
with my views, even though Queerty set up a contrary tone. (Usually
using a particularly bad photo of me with the Israeli flag in the
background and calling me a zionist , as if this were a crime to .)I can
ask my assistant to forward you some of these examples tomorrow and you
will see how diverse gay people’s opinions are. It’s not at all like
Salon is saying.  I am sure that you know what Oriana Fallachi had to go
through after she published her book “The Rage And the Pride”. She got
horrible press, but people loved the book.  Don’t get upset about some
stupid article. Your ads will make people think. You are doing a great
job. Please let me know if I can do anything for you.

SIOA LGBT leader Patti York writes:

The American LGBT community is just as woefully uninformed about the harsh, deadly, current realities of islam as anyone else. It is for this reason that an LGBT division of SIOA was recently created. We as free American gay people intend to change this conversation by adding our truthful voices. When presented with the actual facts about islam, such as honor killings, modern day slavery, the invasion and genocide of countries too weakened to defend themselves, people in general, INCLUDING Gays, are seeing islam for what it really is, a real threat to every human being on the planet. Pamela Geller did not turn me in an outspokencritic of islam, September 11th did. Upon closer examination of islam, I fail to see one redeeming attribute of islam even worth preserving. The only reason islamists have attached themselves like parasites to our community is because they have witnessed the enormous strides we have made over the last three or four decades and obviously want a piece of it. It IS to our demise as free American LGBT people to continue to allow this. It has weakened our movement socially and politcally. Chris’s characterization of islam as a just a religion with “some harmful practices”, reveals a complete absence of any kind of functioning moral compass, or a seared, calloused, diseased conscience at best. Harmful practices are cigarette smoking and eating junk food, no islam does not have “harmful practices”, it advocates the torture and murder of all those who are brave enough to oppose it. It sends it’s ‘warriors” into the bedrooms of sleeping children like the Fogel children and hacks them to pieces. It denies basic human rights and dignity to all women, indeed , it denies ALL of those things to all non-muslims. It is an embarassment to all of us with a conscience. The American LGBT community is allowing itself to be deceived and used for politcal reasons, When those political objectives have been met by islamists, where will that leave us? As a community we do not need the stigma of being allied with a group that is dedicated to “destroying western civilization from within”. Exposing the truth or speaking the truth about islam and the threat it poses to all of humanity is not hate speech, it is perhaps the most radical act of love and bravery that anyone can do. It doesn’t take courage to let yourself be browbeaten into submission and that is what Chris has obviously done.

Atlanta Gay activist Mark Koenig:

In a Salon piece published on April 2, 2012 – Chris Stedman (who happens to be an openly gay man) states: “I have an earnest and sincere question for the LGBT community: Do you support Pamela Geller?”

I am a gay man living in Atlanta, GA, and I have an honest and sincere answer for Mr. Stedman: Not only do I categorically support Ms. Geller, I consider her to be a freedom-fighter of the highest order. She has endured years of slander and even death threats from supporters of the evil ideology that is Islam, simply for telling the truth about it. Mr. Stedman is evidently ignorant of the unconditional condemnation and death-sentence prescribed for homosexuals in the Islamic holy texts. This is more than just an aberrant interpretation or a small group of “extremists” who take these writings literally and act upon them. Homosexuals are routinely executed in Islamic countries simply for BEING homosexual. In fact, Israel is the ONLY nation in the Middle East where gay people can be open about their sexuality without fearing for their lives.

Far from “drumming up hatred, fear and xenophobia toward Muslims,” as Mr. Stedman claims in his article, Pamela Geller (along with her colleague Robert Spencer) are defending the human rights of homosexuals, women and “infidels” who are all subject to violence and death from adherents of this nihilistic ideology which masquerades as a religion. It is almost inconceivable that ANY LGBT person would NOT support Geller’s and Spencer’s efforts, as they are two of the very few individuals with a public platform who state the truth about Islam and defend those it targets. Neither she nor Mr. Spencer have EVER painted all Muslims as violent, hateful people. Rather, they have gone out of their way to offer support and assistance to the victims and potential victims of this Islamic hatred. They are motivated by love – not by hatred or by fear. The current series of bus advertisements that Mr. Stedman complains bitterly about is a RESPONSE (which simply uses quotes from Islamic texts) to counter CAIR’s deceptive ads running in the same cities which attempt to persuade ignorant Americans that “jihad” is simply going to the gym or doing something kind for your neighbor. Geller’s ads are most emphatically not anti-Muslim. They are anti-ISLAM. That Stedman and evidently many thousands of useful idiots in both the LGBT and Jewish communities consider telling the truth about Islam “bigoted” is indicative or their (often willful) ignorance or moral cowardice.

The overwhelming majority of the Islamic apologists quoted in Stedman’s article are engaged in willful deception with the express intent of “undermining Western Civilization from within.” Those aren’t my words or Pamela Geller’s or Robert Spencer’s. They are a direct quotation from Muslim Brotherhood documents seized during the Holy Land Foundation trial.

Yes, I proudly and emphatically proclaim my support for Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer. They display rare courage and literally risk their own lives to defend liberty and human rights. Both should be lauded as heroes by the LGBT community and the American public at large. That they are instead vilified is evidence of the success of organizations such as CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood in their ongoing campaign of deception.

UPDATE: Cynthia Yockey, A Conservative Lesbian writes, “Pamela Geller is a
true friend of the LGBT community. She has the courage to tell the
truth about the menace of Islam. I admire her and respect her work”

I am proud to stand with both Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer. Their representations of Islam are correct. It is Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer who are true friends and defenders of the LGBT community. Muslims are not allies of the LGBT community, they are its mortal and implacable foes. There is no such thing as tolerance in Islam, only apostasy and heresy toward their religious duty to kill or subjugate the unbeliever. Under Sharia gays are executed and women are subjugated. If you believe supporting Islam anywhere is anything but suicide for LGBTs and women, you need to learn more about taqiyya and the fate of countries that ignored the threat of Islam–they may have had Christianity or religious diversity 50 years ago, but not any more. Muslims are not here to assimilate, or to be tolerant, or to live and let live. They come to conquer. It’s just their modus operandi to whine and cry for pity until they have the upper hand. They scream and moan and lie about Pamela and Robert because Pamela and Robert tell the truth about what they’re doing. The LGBT community owes Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer a huge debt of gratitude.

It is great to see support for AFDI (and Pamela personally) coming from quarters many of us who appreciate her efforts here would not expect it from. If found Mr Lucas’ comment about the change in attitude toward Islam in recent years on the part of many homosexuals to be a source of hope.

There are two things that no longer shock about Toronto canada. The deafening silence by the leftist liberal about the 4000+ murdering of gays in Iran,Lebanon and Gaza. And the Queer’s for Palestine/Queer’s against israeli Aparteid that proudly align themselves with the pro-hamas islamists.
They remind me of the Pink-Swastika germans that were gays that chose to join the Gestapo to blend in and feel safe from the death camps. The SS and basic divisions of the military would not tolerate them being openly expressive of their preference while serving. One of Hilter’s drivers was caught in bed with a young man and it was hushed up from the public , but, the general feel for the 3rd Reich was purity and high morals as the super-race.
CAIR canada has yet to protest irian of the saudi’s for their treatment of gays and humans in general. But then again, CAIR is a puppet for the Saudi’s in canada and the USA.

It is truly wonderful and encouraging to read comments of those who are willing to see the truth of Islam.
If I had to choose one descriptor or attribute of Islam, it would be this: its cruelty.

“This disturbed me for a number of reasons, but particularly because Indiegogo’s terms explicitly prohibit “anything promoting hate.”
Yeah! This nitwit, Chris Stedman IS DISTURBED all right!
If he landed at Tehran’s Airport, the Ayatollah would have him hanging from the pulley of one of those construction cranes, about ten minutes latter.
I think for a lot of these asses, hating you for telling the truth is like a religion. An extremely stupid religion. Ya’ know. like Islam.

My suggestion ,since you are Jewish, is that you not meet with these people nor accept donations from them. But let them form their own ‘Islamic Defenses’. I think God will bless your heart in that direction.

‘Trying to split gays and muslims’?? Now, that is funny! Hilarious. I mean, what is that? Is there some unconscious swipe at President Obama here?

You don’t have to agree with a person’s choices to be able to recognize the importance of their right to life and freedom. Hunting down and murdering gay people (or anyone!) is monstrous.
Stedman is the type of idiot who thinks licking the boots of nazi/islamofascists is the way to be safe.

In the interest of full disclosure I am opposed to homosexual marriage. I do not believe that anyone should be persecuted or abused and I am glad to see that hopefully more homosexuals are beginning to understand that Muslims are not there friends. what I find so weird is that through out the Arab world many men engage in sex with young boys and think it is just fine a lot of our military was stunned to find this out yet they still want to hang homosexuals for doing exactly what they do with young boys. There abuse of the young to me is the crime.

It’s quite straightforward.
Men having sex with children are asserting their power OVER the children, and stressing the negligible value of women in sexual pleasure.
Homosexuals in an equal, loving relationship are asserting a forbidden view of vulnerable manhood which does not seek power over anything or anyone, but simple existence/coexistence.
This is intolerable to the Sharia-led.

The left leaning factions of the LGBT community are in lock-step with the rest of the leftist, liberal agenda. The majority of gays who blindly follow are following deceptions and lies. Thankfully there also exists a much more sensible group of independent thinkers who recognze the truth. Many gays must also recognize that Israel is the most tolerant nation in the entire middle-east, standing in stark oposition to the brutality of its neighbors. Those in LGBT condemning Israel are participating in a massively ironic deception.

ALL of us who value freedom to live life as we choose can support Pamela, Robert, David, Sam, AFDI and the counter-jihad. AND, we must pull together.
Atheists, Believers, Gays, Straights, Red & Yellow, Black & White – ALL of us are needed in this fight. Sadly, there is no “we’ll just sit this one out…”
Of COURSE the jihadists want to use our separate identities against us. Yet being free citizens of the Western Hemisphere has ALWAYS been our common thread.
Can there be a brand of Islam wherein jihadists have no place? I don’t know but I DO know that the jihad – and everything that supports it – must be REMOVED from the Western Hemisphere completely – in our generation.
We didn’t ask for this fight but it’s for DAMN sure that we’re not backing down from it.

Note to Stedman: Pamela Geller isn’t fomenting hatred between gays and muslims. These two groups have long been mutually exclusive. Homosexuality is a crime under islamic law with the punishment being execution. If gay groups are aligning themselves with islamic groups, someone needs to tell them what they are doing is suicidal, that muslims are merely using them for their own ends.

Thank you very much for your thoughtful response to Stedman’s drivel. I have barely managed to read the whole thing without getting sick. It is Stedman who comes across as hateful. He hasn’t come up with even one good reason why gay people should support muslims. I believe that the only reason some gay people do, is because they have been totally brainwashed by the leftist media, and are unable to think for themselves.
His self-righteous hypocrisy is beyond revolting.
I am gay and I agree with you 100%. Needless to say I support Pamela and Robert 100%, as well.
