The 2:30 p.m. background briefing, attended by several prominent
Muslim community leaders, was to be followed by a news conference near
Toronto’s Pearson airport. In recent years, police have made a point of
briefing community leaders before announcing terror arrests.
The arrests come at a time of heightened public concern over terrorism
following the bombings in Boston as well as recent revelations over the
involvement of radicalized Canadian youths in overseas terrorist groups (more at The Natinal Post here)
Muslim leader and law enforcement? What is wrong with this picture? Why isn't law enforcement imposing jihad sensitivity training upon these "Muslim leaders"? Why aren't these Muslim leaders calling for the removal of jihadic doctrine from Islam? Why aren't these Muslim leaders condemning the Islamic texts and teachings that command jihad? What were these Muslims doing there — enforcing sharia language of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police?

These jihadists had intended to blow up the train over Niagara Falls and send it crashing down into the Falls. The evil and savagery of jihadists is unimaginable. The objective was to drop the train
into the Niagara River as it crossed from Canada to USA over the bridge.

Ottawa, April 22, 2013– Today,
the RCMP arrested two individuals and charged them with conspiring to
carry out a terrorist attack against a VIA passenger train. The accused
have been charged under sections 248, 235 (1), 83.2, 83.18, 83.21 of
the Criminal Code of Canada. As a result of extensive
collaborative efforts, the RCMP was able to disrupt the threat early.
While the RCMP believed that these individuals had the capacity and
intent to carry out these criminal acts, there was no imminent threat to
the general public, rail employees, train passengers or infrastructure.
The two accused, Chiheb ESSEGHAIER and Raed JASER,
who live in the Montreal and Toronto area were conspiring to carry out a
terrorist attack against a VIA passenger train. Charges include
conspiring to carry out an attack against, and conspiring to murder
persons unknown for the benefit of, at the direction of, or in
association with a terrorist group.

Incredibly stupid of Canadian police to tip off Muslim community leaders prior to holding this news conference.
The female officer stated that “search warrants are being executed as we speak” and yet hours before they met with Muslim “leaders” to give them the heads up?
How stupid can law enforcement get? And yet they refuse to divulge the nationality of the suspects as that will somehow “compromise” the investigation?
I don’t know how much credit we can give to the RCMP. I suspect they had a lot of help from the FBI in foiling this plot.
The other thing that I found very strange is the claim by police that the suspects had help from Al Qaeda in Iran? Iran and Al Qaeda usually don’t go together in the same sentence. I wonder if they meant Al Qaeda in Iraq? The Tunisian suspect had the Al Qaeda in Iraq flag on his linkedin page.

The core of al-Qaeda is operating out of Iran? This will come as big news to terrorism experts worldwide. The current leader of al Qaeda – Ayman al-Zawahiri – is an avowed enemy of Iran. If he was in Iran he would be under arrest!
I really wonder if the RCMP officer at the briefing confused Iran with Iraq? When he announced that the suspects had help from al-Qaeda in Iraq his colleague on the right looked startled. The Tunisian suspect had the flag of al-Qaeda in IRAQ as his avatar on his linkedIn page.

I too am angry that the RCMP, Canadian Mounties in their sexy red uniforms talked to muslims before Canadians and no one batted an eyelash. RCMP and all Canadian press are shariah compliant. Too bad, How will they answer bloggers? Bloggers say that in Canada CBC, CTV, Global got a tidbit and then were supposed to shut up. Truth is, we know before any TV stations. And we tell. So sorry all Canadian that maybe your mounties are not all that great, maybe struck by the PC stick.

Why didn’t they arrest all of the imams for fostering an anti-democratic environment that creates terrorists?

How do you deal with Muslim society? When the bomber slash killers are considered Martyers?
Unlike in any other Religion where people who stand for their faith by dying for it. Islam’s version of martyrs are those that kill unbelievers. The only sure way a Muslim can know he is going to the brothel in the sky. When a serial killer commits murder in the name of allah 14 members of his family are assured this as well. Not to mention he gets 72 virgins. So their is a cone of silence amongst so called “moderate ” Muslims. They gain from this.Its an act of piety to them to kill unbelievers.
We will get no co-operation from a community told every Friday not to integrate into the infidels culture or society. Not a peep of information from these who the koran clearly praises the killing of the kaffir.The shunning of any none Muslim or friendship. Authorities credited Toronto’s Muslim community with assisting in the arrests. In a meeting the Muslim leaders, police revealed that a prominent imam had come forward to tip off the security services that at least one of the suspects may have been plotting an attack.
Yusuf Badat, director of religious affairs for the Islamic Foundation of Toronto, told CBC that before Monday’s press conference, Mounties met with Toronto Muslim leaders.
‘Not too many details were shared. They did say a prominent community leader has come forward,’ he said.

Hey moron – if it wasn’t for the “Islamic community’ and the Islamic sponsored hatred of cartoons, democracy, freedom of speech, women’s freedom, values of sharia Nazi law and Islamic repressive values … we wouldn’t have had these terrorists in the first place and we wouldn’t have all the ones yet to come that will certainly come..
Those leaders didn’t really oppose the terrorists, they just thought it was too soon in their program of Islamification of North America to do bombing yet – they have to wait until we are much weaker or perhaps they want a much slower program of destroying our democracy.
