Labour peer Lord Ahmed suspended over claims he blamed imprisonment on 'Jewish conspiracy' The Telegraph, March 13, 2013 (thanks to Atlas readers who sent this in)
Labour has suspended a peer who is alleged to have blamed a Jewish conspiracy
for the imprisonment he received over a fatal motorway crash.Story continues below advertisement
The Times
has reported that Lord Ahmed, a Labour life peer, claimed that he
received his prison sentenced because of pressure on the courts from Jews
“who own newspapers and TV channels".
Lord Ahmed, who in 1998 became the first Muslim life peer, is said to have
claimed that the conspiracy was a result of his support for the Palestinians
in Gaza.
He is said to have made the comments in a TV interview in April last year
while on a visit to Pakistan.
Labour today suspended the peer "pending an investigation".
Lord Ahmed, who was born in Pakistan, became Baron Ahmed of Rotherham at the
age of 40.In the TV broadcast it is alleged Lord Ahmed said of his jail sentence: “My
case became more critical because I went to Gaza to support Palestinians. My
Jewish friends who own newspapers and TV channels opposed this.”
A criminal law expert told the Times that if Lord Ahmed had made the claims in
the UK, he could have faced prosecution for a hate crime.
A spokesman for the Labour Party said they will be “seeking to clarify” the
remarks.
"The Labour Party deplores and does not tolerate any sort of racism or
anti-Semitism…we are suspending Lord Ahmed pending an investigation."
Lord Ahmed is said to have told The Times he had “no recollection” of the
interview.

I guess the unfortunate Slovakian man that he mowed down was part of a Zionist plot and threw himself under Nazi Ahmed’s wheels.

Nazir Ahmed and Phillipa Curtis. Nazir on the M.1; Phillipa on the A.40. Both driving at 70 miles an hour. Both had been texting on their mobile prior to hitting a stationary car. Both crashes resulted in the death of the driver of that stationary car.
Phillipa received a 21 month sentence for causing death by dangerous driving. Vera Baird, then Solicitor-General for Nu-Labour thought that this was unduly lenient, and had asked the Court of Appeal to look again at the sentence.
Nazir received a 12 week sentence for dangerous driving… Vera Baird, then Solicitor-General for Nu-Labour, and friend of Nazir Ahmed, didn’t think that this was unduly lenient, indeed was so offended by my drawing a parallel between these two cases that she descended on my humble and very new blog to spout out in his defence. It caused a minor stir in blogland at the time…
In the event, Nazir was out of prison in a record 16 days – because being in prison ‘would hinder Lord Ahmed’s work building bridges between the Muslim world and others’. We will never know what Phillipa’s time in prison would hinder, no one was interested…

I just saw this Tom. had to laugh at the Zionist plot bit! These people are crazy, everything they do wrong is a Zionist plot!
Oh well, we can’t have ” important” Muslims in jail when they can be ” bridge building ” between Muslims and infidels after all !
A shame we don’t notice any affects of all this important bridge building though, apart from ensuring Muslim demands are always met? Or maybe this is the point.
I am disgusted at the sentencing in this case, the injustice towards the other man, the scapegoat. Obviously this is more than proof Sharia has taken over the once Great GB. What with the pedofiel getting off scot free because he was never taught at Islamic school having sex with underage girls was against British law and he learned women had no value ! It never ends does it in the muslim criminals paradise on earth.

The English “justice” system is certain suspect in all this because their
punishment for the Lord doesn’t seem to very serious considering the victim
died. Is the family of the victim allowed to sue the Lord for the accident?
