I really believe that president obama has everything under control. With him, pelosi, clinton, reid, soon to be senator frank we are very safe. These are the smartest people in the world. Did you know that JZ, madonna, cher, clooney, sharpton, farrahkan all say it is OK to pray to obama. he may be the messiah and we do not realize it. obama is love an will keep us safe from all of the hate here. obama may be muslim and you see how peaceful and wonderful he is.

It’s about time someone told the truth about Islam’s barbaric ways that they live and die for maybe you need to expose the fact Muhammad the profit was 54 when he married his bride aiesha who was only 6 and deflowered her at the age of nine. That gives me the right to put up a subway bilboard that says the following: The Jews voted for President Obama. They donated hundres of millions of dollars to his campaign to get him elected. If you are out of work, about to lose your home, or go bankrupt all because of these lovely economic conditions, then just blame the Jews. They are your misfortune. Now ads like that should be placed all over the subway system of New York.

Chris, anti islam is in reality anti death. There is no joy in islam. There is no peace in islam. There are no personal freedoms in islam.
Islam is oppressive to woman, so woman are depressed and afraid, all the time. Young islamic children have to live very carefully,and toe the line or else, what a childhood. If a person from this dark cult lives and breathes this way of life, they only know this way of life.
Pam G. has been able to be a shelter for some people who want to leave islam for good. If you want to leave islam, and you express that, if you actually do that, you die. It’s that grave a decision.
So people born into this dark way of life are locked in if they want to continue living. The life they lead is akin to walking on egg shells.
I know a mother here in my town who has been threatened by her own in-laws for showing her arms. She won’t go near our puppy, it’s not clean. She turns her nose up at the mere mention of Christmas and gives a look of disgust. She agrees that islam is dark, it has very dark underpinnings, so she said that she tries to keep her children from mosques that are too extreme. Her own words. In America, that is the best that she can do to protect her kids from being tainted.
She left Pakistan to come here for a better life. I think she and her husband have found that although I think her husband is still very much a looney islamic misogynistic asshole.
We shall see what happens with this family as the years go by, whether they leave islam for western values. You cannot have both.

So many of my liberal friend trying to defend Islamist try to claim that Arabs/Persians brought us math and science and writing and equal rights in essence they claim that they are the founders of modern society. I remind them that that is all mostly true and all before Islam took root. We have peoples in the Middle East who still love freedom (the Iranian uprising) as all peoples do but are forced to live within the prison of an Islamic theocracy. We have people who rebelled against tyrants only to find the former champion (USA) of freedom embracing and arming the extremist against them. As Islam regains its former strength (think pre-crusade Europe) progress slows freedoms disappear and extremist become emboldened. On the road we are traveling the past is our future, Political Correctness is the paving stone.

Darkness and light. You’re right Madeleine. Muslims live in constant darkness. Their love, when it does occur, is conditional. They can’t claim to love their daughters and then turn around and kill them if they embarrass or shame them in some way. (What teenager hasn’t done that to their parents once of twice?)
No, the hallmarks of Islam are conditional family love, lack of forgiveness, revenge and vindictiveness, no problem with lying and a justification to murder if they feel offended or don’t get their way. All things that live in the dark. Charity, patience, kindness, forgiveness, forbearance, truth and honesty are all virtues that one living in the light strives to achieve. The west was founded on those virtues. And i’ll take those over Islam anyday.

Yes you have the right to put up such a billboard (in America, don’t try it in Germany) But that right doesn’t depend on the actions of Pamela Gellar, clearly you have hated Jews long before her ads upset you. I don’t agree with parts of a number of comments above. I see a number of inaccuracies, and a suggestion to commit murder. I wish some of the commenters here would speak less like rabble-rousing yahoos. I think such careless get-your-jollies loud-mouthery hurts Pamela’s cause. We need to work much more on hard things, like how to present a case, how to marshal evidence and facts, how to persuade people who are unconvinced, how to avoid making people think you are a raving loony engaged in mindless hate and scapegoating of Islam.
Pam Geller’s new ad is brilliant and very, very needed. How rare and precious a thing is free speech, and how rare to see someone using it when it’s most needed and most risky to the speaker.

Actually it is the ancient Greeks of 2500+ years ago to which we owe the insights into maths and science. Google Thales, Erastothenes, Oenopides of Chios, Pythagoras, Theaetetus, Aristotle etc etc.
Pre-muslim Arabs and Persians built on the works of the ancient Greeks. As they did while trading with the Hindus – from whom they learnt the concept of 0.
Currently muslims, having few of their vast number excelling in any non-destructive pursuits – bask happily in the delusion that their ‘islamic science’ was the root of all mankind’s advancements.

I wonder if jihadists are afraid to blow up places where the Qur’an is quoted so prominently — would they fear that blowing up the sign would be blasphemy? I’ll bet the imams would give some rationale, like, “the infidel is quoting the Qur’an with a blasphemous intent, so you are free to blow it up.” Or, “we are at war with the infidel, and to win the war, it is unavoidable to blow up him and his signage quoting the Qur’an, and therefore blowing them up is permitted.”
