Could you imagine an even more dangerous pick than Hagel for Secretary of Defense? Under Obama, yes. Worse is always what's next.
President Barack Obama said today he would nominate former Nebraska Sen. Chuck Hagel, a Republican, to be Secretary of Defense, and his top counterterrorism adviser, John Brennan, to head the CIA. Astonishing. Obama is doing the full monty.
The president's CIA pick called jihad a "legitimate tenet of
Islam," arguing that the term "jihadists" should not be used to describe
America's enemies. During a speech at the
Center for Strategic and International Studies, John Brennan described violent
extremists as victims of "political, economic and social forces," but said that
those plotting attacks on the United States should not be described in
"religious terms."

Atlas readers are long familiar with the pro-jihadi thug Brennan. If you recall, during the 2008 presidential election, I ran a number of
stories on the breach of Obama's passport at the Department of
State. It bears noting that John O. Brennan, whom Obama first appointed to be Assistant to the President and Deputy National Security Adviser for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism, in which capacity he made his notorious and incredible pro-terror remarks, some in Arabic no less, about the beauty of jihad, was connected with the tampering with Obama's passport.
He led the investigation into the breach of Obama's passport records — the mysterious passport Obama traveled to Pakistan on in 1981.
Quid pro quo?
Back in March 2008, State Department employees had tampered with the passport files of Barack Hussein Obama. The State Department launched an investigation into allegations of improper computer access to Obama's passport records. The investigation was focusing on one employee — a contract worker with a company headed by an adviser to the presidential campaign of Sen. Barack Obama (more here at The Washington Times).
Obama said at the time:
In Portland, Ore., Mr. Obama said the series of attempts to "tap into
people's personal records" were "a problem not just for me but for how
our government functions."
Laughable, considering how intrusive his administration has been and continues to be in accessing private information.
Officials do not know whether information was improperly copied, altered or removed from the database during the intrusions.

"As soon as we realized that there were these unauthorized
accesses for Senator Obama's passport files, we collected the
information, we briefed the secretary, we briefed Senator Obama's
staff, all before we ever replied to the reporter," Mr. McCormack said.
You will also recall that the key witness in the presidential passport tampering case was murdered. Shot in the head, in his car, in front of his church.

WASHINGTON
(CNN) — The CEO of a company whose employee is accused of improperly
looking at the passport files of presidential candidates is a
consultant to the Barack Obama campaign, a source said Saturday.
John
O. Brennan, president and CEO of the Analysis Corp., advises the
Illinois Democrat on foreign policy and intelligence issues, the source
said.
Brennan briefed the media on behalf of the campaign this month.
The executive is a former senior CIA official and former interim director of the National Counterterrorism Center.
He contributed $2,300 to the Obama campaign in January…
At the time, "State
Department spokesman Sean McCormack said the violations of McCain and
Clinton's passport files were not discovered until Friday, after
officials were made aware of the unauthorized access of Obama's records and a separate search was conducted."
The
incidents raise questions as to whether the information was accessed
for political purposes and why two contractors involved in the Obama
search were dismissed before investigators had a chance to interview them.
I always thought they rifled through Clinton's and McCain's files to
make it look as if it was all three, but it was Obama's passport
records that they accessed. Secondarily, almost as an afterthought,
there were "violations" concerning Clinton and McCain. But who stood to
gain from a tampering, and why?
There is a video here of Obama's response to the passport "breach" back on March 21, 2008. Watch it — I think it's telling that he says, not that he has anything to hide: "not because I have any particular concerns" [minute -.23].

Somebody on behalf of OBambi altered his passport records to conceal something incriminating or embarrassing. The intrusion into the records was discovered and presented as if it was an intrusion into OBambi’s privacy. The investigation was led by one of OBambi’s people and the results reported to OBambi’s people.
Gee, I wonder why they didn’t catch anyone or reveal what was accessed or changed?

He was arguing with Sen John Cornyn in defense of Hagel,during the 5-6 ET hour.
Blitzer was an attack dog for Hagel.
Blitzer implored Cornyn to reserve judgement until Hagel’s Hearings,iow,”Let Hagel lie,twist,”explain”,under oath of course,his “true feelings”,how everything has been and/or is being “taken out of context” and than move on to approve him.
Cornyn ,GOD BLESS him,stood his ground against Blitzer.

John Brennan , what a Saudi tool ! I gotta tell you after the last election I am pro secession. There is no more United States of America, the U.S. Constitution is being violated and dismantled on increasing level. Both the 1st and second amendment are under attack. The Federal government is debasing our dollar which in reality is a tax on every dollar you make , will make and have already made. The Federal government refuses to protect our borders from illegal entry. Finally if you don’t believe that the Federal government is already bankrupt you need to review economic 101. Forget what hear about our debt being 16 trillion and counting. When you factor in the Federal governments unfunded liabilities like social security the real debt is north of 60 trillion !! The system is going to collapse and relatively soon.

We HAD to know that Obama wouldn’t back down on Hagel after pulling the rug out from under Susan Rice. His far-left constituency would not permit that. We can only hope that he will have had to spend too much political capital (in a losing cause!) for confirmation that he will be hampered in his quest to re-make America in the mold of Europe. Either way, Obama wins. If Hagel is not confirmed, he gets to blame it on his favorite bogeyman…….the jooooooos.

Both Hagel and Brennan will keep the fires of fear burning, but they will keep its heat at a level suitable to the wishes of their Commander In Chief. Neither will help create an atmosphere where there is less need for America`s multi- trillion dollar security apparatus, that is not their pay grade. They both will be searching the planet to find those that threaten the tranquility of our peace loving nation. American`s will feel secure in their homes when the two strong men are nominated to guard their gates.

OBAMA AND HAGEL
It is the dangerous and sickening appeaser, apologizer and accommodationist in Obama that chose Hagel to be Secretary of Defense. That deranged, anti-American side of Obama that sees this country as too powerful for its own good and a force for discord and evil in the world; that views Islam despite its long history of imperialism, colonization and violent mass murdering jihad as a religion of justice and peace; and Moslems as the world’s greatest and most pitiable victims whose hatred of America, Israel and the West is understandable, justified and must be soothed and placated.
With the destabilizing rise of radical Islam and jihad across the Middle East Obama by putting Hagel at Defense is hoping against hope to repair his disastrously failed Moslem Outreach Initiative to improve US/Islamic relations (which are worse than ever); and perhaps to revenge himself on Bibi Netanyahu for his humiliating relationship with him and public slap down and lecture at the White House two years ago on Israeli-Palestinian realities. I can just see the grin on Obama’s face every time Netanyahu meets with the despicable, pro-Hamas, Jew-hating Hagel.
But above all Hagel is one of many disturbing signs that Obama’s moderate guise is coming off and that he intends to overtly govern from the hard, radical, reckless Left in his second term. When Obama said “You’ve seen nothing yet” expect an epic catastrophe ahead.
