Exclusive: Pamela Geller blasts religious 'leaders' for failing to condemn barbaric cruelty

Story continues below advertisement
I love how I bring out the most cowardly and craven among liberal
Jewish and Christian “leadership.” How eager these knaves are to do the
bidding of annihilationists and Jew-haters.

The Denver Post
reported last week that “Colorado Muslim, Christian and Jewish leaders
stood together in Denver’s main mosque Monday and launched a ‘Love Thy
Neighbor’ campaign – starting with ads on RTD buses. They said the ad
they unveiled – at a time on the calendar devoted to love and
understanding – is meant to respond to recent national tragedies and to
replace anti-Muslim ads placed on buses last month.” The ads they’re
referring to by the manipulative and pejorative term “anti-Muslim” are,
of course, my pro-freedom anti-jihad ads.

How silly. All decent and rational human beings love love. These
self-righteous nudniks are standing with those who are oppressing and
subjugating their brothers and sisters. Why aren’t these voices of love
speaking out against the vile Islamic Jew-hatred that inspires the war
against the tiny Jewish state? Why aren’t these voices of love speaking
out against the systematic extermination of Christians in Muslim lands?
Why aren’t these voices of love condemning the slaughter of Buddhists in
Thailand? Hindus in Pakistan?

No, instead they provide cover for the most brutal and extreme
ideology on the face of the Earth, and further obfuscate the most lethal
threat the free world faces.

“Love Thy Neighbor.” Gotta love it. There is no golden rule in Islam,
clowns. This moral equivocation completely ignores the facts on the
ground. Jews and Christians are simply not murdering people and
justifying the murders by quoting their Scriptures. The violence in the
Bible is descriptive, while the Quran’s violence is prescriptive. The
fantasy these quislings are advancing is at odds with reality and the
rivers of bloodshed in the cause of Islam. Never do we see Jews
slaughtering in the name of HaShem or Christians in the name of Jesus
Christ.

Not only that, but the Quran verse quoted in their ad (“And you
should forgive and overlook. Do you not like God to forgive you?” 24:22)
is not a general recommendation of forgiveness. According to the
revered and renowned Quran commentator Ibn Kathir, this verse “was
revealed concerning As-Siddiq, may Allah be pleased with him, when he
swore that he would not help Mistah bin Uthathah after he said what he
said about Aishah.”

Mistah had accused Aishah of adultery, and Muhammad was anxious to
protect his favorite nine-year-old wife. Abu Bakr as-Siddiq, Aisha’s
father, had said: “By Allah, I will never give anything (in charity) to
Mistah, after what he has said about Aisha.” But then Muhammad gave the
“revelation” of Quran 24:22. Hearing it, Abu Bakr said, ”Yes, by Allah, I
like that Allah should forgive me.” He then resumed giving Mistah the
aid he used to give him (Bukhari 8.670).

So does Quran 24:22 mean that Muslims should be forgiving and kind
toward non-Muslims? No: “Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and those
who are with him are severe against disbelievers, and merciful among
themselves” (Quran 48:29).

You’ll never see these Jewish and Christian clerics quoting that. And
they aren’t the only compromised clerics. Last September, I appeared on
“Up Close” with Diana Williams, WABC-TV’s public affairs show. I
debated the Rev. Jim Wallis of Sojourners, who was launching his own ad
campaign on the subways, “hitting back” at ours.

It’s a pity that Wallis didn’t get his group together to stand up
when Christians, Hindus and so many others were facing vicious
persecution in Muslim countries. Where is Sojourners when Christians are
victimized by jihad? Wallis, like the Denver group, was standing up for
those who oppress and kill Christians. Robert Spencer
said this about him: “Wallis says that people might get hurt because of
Geller’s ad. Note how thoroughly he has absorbed the dhimmi mindset: He
assumes that if Muslims become violent, it is the fault of non-Muslims,
who must adjust their behavior in order to placate them.”

The enemedia also made much of the fact that the far-left “Rabbis for
Human Rights” group also took out ads ostensibly countering my
pro-Israel, pro-freedom ads in New York and Washington. These rabbis
claimed my ads were “hateful.” Yet my ads spoke to the defense of
freedom and individual rights for all. There was nothing hateful about
them. Sept. 11 was hate. March 11 in Madrid was hate. July 7 in London
was hate. The Fort Hood jihadi was hate. The Christmas underwear bomber
was hate. The Fort Dix Six was hate. Pushing back against such hate is
not hate.

I doubt that the rabbis knew anything about the jihad doctrine that
relentlessly seeks to violently impose Islamic law and pursues jihad
against non-Muslims, or about the Islamic anti-Semitism that is deeply
ingrained in the Quran and Sunnah, and that identifies the Jews as the
worst enemies of the Muslims (Quran 5:82) and under Allah’s curse (Quran
9:30).

Meanwhile in Germany two Islamist doing dawah attacked an Indian University student and slashed his tongue when he didn’t want to listen to their proselytizing.

The German people still believe in the Quranic verse 2:256 “No Compulsion in religion…”. What they don’t know is that verse has been abrogated by the Verses of the Sword that came later. Quran 2:256 is now null and void.
Germans have tried to incorporate Islam into the schools who programs taught by Muslim groups only to have it backfire when the program started to proselytize and radicalize students, and now Islam is splitting the German society;

“I doubt that the rabbis knew anything about the jihad doctrine that…”
There is no doubt in my mind that they know exactly what’s going on, but, similar to the 1930’s, they’ve adopted cowardly passivity in order to avoid honest confrontation, especially violent confrontation. Not only are they running scared of the muslim onslaught, however, even more so, they’re running scared of the Democratic Party culture to which they’ve long tied their identity based on a veneer of social welfare idealism, while the dedicated left-wing Clinton/Obama Democrats now daily test the limits of brazen betrayal, especially of Israel, by the active promotion and pandering to the Muslim Brotherhood, but as well, the daily weakening of support to others (First the “Saturday people”, next the “Sunday people”). How pathetic, to be betrayed so brazenly, and after all the loyal years of misplaced support…

Let me correct myself, in the 1930’s they weren’t reacting cowardly, passiveness was the path of least resistance, they were clearly overwhelmed. But today, at this stage in the evolution of events, at least in the USA, enthusiastic support for current Democratic Party politically correct agendas, especially related to the jihad and the betrayal of Israel, is clearly cowardice, or it’s the most contemptible, and shameful kind of betrayal.

As a warning to you all, i reprint this news from the Daily Telegraph for Monday 31st – it has not appeared on their website and, therefore, there are no facilities for adding comments.
The British Department of Education have identified,by secret memo, 118 “socially conservative” independent Faith Schools, predminently Muslim, where “pupils are encouraged to cut themselves off from mainstream society”.
Ministers have been told they don’t have “detailed information” about the religious orientation of the groups behind these Faith Schools.
Officials have also privately admitted they have no system to identify institutional extremism in State Schools.
From January a new set of Independent School Standards honouring fundamental British values including democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect with tolerance for different faiths and beliefs will be brought in.
No trained inspectors currently exist to montor these standards application.
Two Teaching Assistants have been involved in terrorism. M. S. Khan 7/7 bomber and Zahoor Iqbal plotter to kidnap and kill a British soldier in Birmingham.
Schools of interest include 3 from the Islamic Shakhsiyah Foundation linked to Hizb ut-Tahrir. Another school causing concern is the Darul Uloom associated with Tablighi Jamaat (Newham Mega Mosque)
All of us need to be aware of this trend.
Every mosque is a bridgehead, everywhere.

A “love thy neighbor” campaign? Sounds great until we realize it’s a trick-thy-neighbor campaign: a Muslim effort to trick gullible non-Muslims into believing that Islam is a religion of peace. Then they go back to their 80%+ radical mosques and praise the companions of Muhammad who carried out the massacre-thy-neighbor campaign of early Islam.

Just round up these incoming muslims and ship them back to their third world hell holes, case closed. Before these people came here, we all lived in peace. Post 9/11, a darkness has fallen over our land. That darkness is Islam.

I think sometimes Pamela’s rhetoric is a bit overheated- not wrong, mind you, but appealing more to the “right brain” than the “left brain”. I realize she is a blogger, and not writing an academic treatise, but I worry that her rhetoric may cause her voice to not be heard by people who need to hear it.
In this broadside, I find a reasonable balance. True, the post refers to “knaves”, “nudniks” (the average goy outside Manhattan probably never heard the word). But it also offers a well articulated rationale behind her strong claims, a rationale that could- and should- be considered by those in a position of stewardship for civilization (are you listening Barak & Hillary- of course not).
In other words, this post is Pamela at her best!

“The violence in the Bible is descriptive” and not prescriptive?
Which Bible are YOU reading, exactly?
Deuteronomy clearly commands that unbelievers be put to death.
“2 If a man or woman living among you in one of the towns the Lord gives you is found doing evil in the eyes of the Lord your God in violation of his covenant, 3 and contrary to my command has worshiped other gods, bowing down to them or to the sun or the moon or the stars in the sky, 4 and this has been brought to your attention, then you must investigate it thoroughly. If it is true and it has been proved that this detestable thing has been done in Israel, 5 take the man or woman who has done this evil deed to your city gate and stone that person to death. 6 On the testimony of two or three witnesses a person is to be put to death, but no one is to be put to death on the testimony of only one witness. 7 The hands of the witnesses must be the first in putting that person to death, and then the hands of all the people. You must purge the evil from among you.”

@JoeNYC-
By their fruits ye shall know them.
Yup, those old Hebe’s wandering around the desert sands (cut me some slack on the history/geography there) were a wild bunch of people. It’s been a few thousand years since the People of Israel, as a matter of religious mandate, stoned their adulterers. How many minutes has it been since the last Muslims were murdered for adultery?
I’m no biblical scholar, but even I know enough to understand that it makes no sense to review the Judaism without reference to the Talmudic tradition. Islam, on the other hand, has all wisdom revealed in the 7th century (there is a strong tradition within Islam to that effect).
So you may be technically correct in your observation, if you limit your analysis to the Torah. But in any operational sense, your criticism amounts to merely mindless quibbling.

Larry S – Christians do indeed continue to call for the murder for those that violate their Bronze Age laws. Witness Uganda, where American evangelicals have pressed for the death penalty for homosexuality. Uganda’s law was explicitly endorsed by Tony Perkins, the head of the Family Research Council, which is (arguably) the most powerful Christian lobbying group in the United States.

I think our enemies will nuke each other, not us. And somehow, this will hurt the left in this country just enough for it to wake up, and save itself.
I’m reluctant to say why I think so. But it came to me in a dream. Yeah, I know. I’m not big on dreams either. And I almost never dream anymore. Or at least remember them. And if I do, I don’t try to interpret them, let alone ask someone else what they might mean. But the more I think about this dream, the more I think I’m right. Just one thing; I’m more confident about the first part of my interpretation, than the second part. If they hurt each other more than us, I suppose it could be possible for Obama to somehow get credit.
I’m not saying they will stop attacking us, or trying, but I think they will hurt each other more.

@JoeNYC-
Could you provide me with a credible reference for your claim that American evangelicals in Uganda have endorsed the death penalty for homosexuality?
If this is true, I will hazard a guess that it’s some wacko cult with a miniscule following, of which the history of Christianity has many. It certainly is not representative of American evangelicals. Calls to kill homosexuals are routine from Muslim clergy, and they are, by and large, not refuted by other Muslim clergy.

JoeNYC
JoeNYC

Larry S – The Family Research Council is scarcely a “miniscule cult” although they are definitely “wacko.” The FRC has an annual budget in the hundreds of millions, full-time lobbyists in Washington DC, and their head,Tony Perkins, appears regularly on national television. All you need to do is Google “Tony Perkins” and “Uganda.”
The so-called “Kill The Gays” bill there came about due to the urging of American evangelist Scott Lively and the work of the secretive Christian lobbying group “The Family”, which is supported (in part) by the Family Research Council.
To his very slight credit, Pastor Rick Warren, who had a part in the bill’s genesis, has since denounced its penalties. (You can Google that too.) For more about “The Family”, Google their name plus “C Street.”

Larry S.

@JoeNYC-
Thank for elaborating on your claim. I’m not going to make a research project out of this, but based on the link below- one not exactly predisposed to favor Tony Perkins- Perkins notes the bill imposes the harshest of criminal penalties not simply for engaging in homosexual acts, but for “aggravated homosexuality”. This category includes homosexual acts by HIV positive people and with legal adults engaging in them with people under 18:
http://www.rightwingwatch.org/content/why-would-mainstream-conservative-think-tank-praise-kill-gays-law
So as best I call tell with a quick review, your suggestion that FRC endorsed the death penalty for homosexuals in Uganda is misleading at best, although the bill (law?) would apply to some sub-class of homosexual activity.
I did not find any reference to substantiate your claim that FRC endorses capital punishment for homosexuality.
You seem to be to be keen to nail Pamela for claim about the Bible that indeed is true of the Jewish tradition taken in its entirety. You seem to me less scrupulous when attacking the likes of FRC.

JoeNYC
JoeNYC

@Larry S- Per the Uganda’s bill, “aggravated homosexuality” includes any second offense. In other words, if a gay person has sex TWICE they can be sentenced to death. Also eligible for lengthy imprisonments are people who even *attend* a same-sex wedding, people who “knowingly” rent a home to a gay person, and any person who does not report a “known homosexual” to the Ugandan government.
The Family Research Council successfully lobbied against a proposed U.S. House resolution that would have denounced Uganda’s gay death penalty bill. In fact, when President Obama criticized the bill, FRC’s head Tony Perkins issued a national radio broadcast denouncing the president for doing so. The text of that address is available via the Wayback Machine (takes a moment to load): http://web.archive.org/web/20100315131339/http://www.frc.org/get.cfm?i=CM10B11
You’ll note that Perkins makes the same false claims about the bill’s provisions that you made above. The actual penalties included in the bill can be found here: http://www.boxturtlebulletin.com/2012/12/17/52024

The Family Research DID NO SUCH THING. You are rumor-mongering in support of your unhealthy sexual agenda.
Homo-bi-sexual activity = 44 times increased incidence of HIV, 46 times increase incidence of all other STDs, increased incidence of violence, murder, suicide, depression and other mental health problems, injuries, infection, early death.

The Uganda law is misunderstood and exaggerated. It is meant to punish heinous homosexual crimes, such as the (largely muslim) bisexual practice of engaging in high-risk homosexual activity, then sexually assaulting (raping) young boys and girls and infecting their wives at the same time which spreads deadly HIV and wipes out whole generations – which is just as lethal as shooting them with guns.
To the people of Uganda, this is certainly worthy of a death sentence. Uganda can’t afford large cushy air-conditioned prisons for malefactors.
Google search: Pashtun boy slaves Afghanistan, child sex trafficking, porn, slavery in muslim countries.

In Uganda, with its lack of medical facilities, homosexual activity is in itself a death sentence.
To engage in homo-bi-sex activity and contract HIV and pass it on is an act of murder, and by law, would therefore be punishable by death.

Unfortunately your statements regarding Christians not murdering countless thousands over the last 2000 years who didn’t convert to Christianity are not quite true. In fact, Catholicism was also politicized by Emperor Constantine to consolidate power similar to the way Islam was. You will not be able to fight a winning battle of ideas unless your statements are completely true. What the Muslims are doing now the Catholic church has tried before. Both are wrong and need to be stopped. While Judaism does allow for the death penalty for many sins one also needs to look at all the protective steps that are followed before an actual death penalty would be carried out. I do agree with you that people need to wake up to this cancer that is growing in our midst before things get worse and more drastic measures are needed.

Or the millions of kufrs slaughtered by scuzzlums in the Sudan in the late 20th and early 21st centuries. Or the tens of thousands of kufrs slaughtered by Indonesian islamonazis in E. Timor. When has pisslam EVER been peaceful?
