Huff Pos: “New York City’s resident Islamophobe is back”

25

Opposing September 11th and its motive is anti-Islam? Apparently the Huffington Post thinks so. Check out their latest hit piece (void of facts, reportage or objectivity). They even have a slide show of our previous pro-freedom ads — but they missed this one on our Ground Zero mosque fight (a personal favorite of mine and one we  had to fight the MTA in federal court to get up and running).

Oh, and these are running on Metro kiosks, not in the subway, but facts are not important at the Puff Ho. It's agenda and propaganda that count, not accuracy.

Anti-Islam Subway Ads By Pamela Geller Feature Exploding World Trade Center, Quote From The Quran (PHOTO)

Story continues below advertisement

New York City's resident Islamophobe is back with yet another anti-Islam subway ad. Pamela Geller's latest features a photo of the Twin Towers in flames next to a quote from the Quran that reads, “Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers.”

When Geller last bought ad space in the NYC underground, New Yorkers
didn't react too kindly. Nearly all of the signs– which read "In any
war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man.
Support Israel. Defeat Jihad"– were vandalized.

As a result, The Observer reports Geller doubled her ad buy this time, and that "the new ads will be plastered across at least 50 different locations."

"I refuse to abridge my free speech so as to appease savages," she said.

For the first time however, Geller's vitriol will come with a MTA disclaimer:

antiislam ad

"A cost of opening our ad space to a variety of viewpoints on matters
of public concern is that we cannot readily close that space to certain
advertisements on account of their expression of divisive or even
venomous messages,” the MTA stated at the time of the 'savages' ad. “The answer to distasteful and uncivil speech is more, and more civilized, speech.”

The MTA had previously rejected Geller's 'savages' ad, saying that signs, according to the Associated Press, "should not demean individuals or groups based on race, religion or other protected categories."

Geller sued over the rejection and a judge ruled that the MTA standards violated the First Amendment.

Geller's ads are paid for by American Freedom Defense Initiative, the
umbrella organization for the Stop Islamization of America, which has
been designated by the Southern Poverty Law Center as a hate group.

(You may also remember Geller from her role in the "Ground Zero Mosque" non-controversy.)

“News” organizations like HuffPo freely bandi about charges that Pamela is an “Islamophobe”. Curiously- and I don’t read HuffPo enough to know for sure whether or not they fit into this category- many such charges come from people who find calling Jews “apes and pigs” and other such edifying comments to be unremarkable. Odd, how sensitivities work, eh?
I suspect it would demand too much intellectual integrity for HuffPo to quote Pamela’s “Islamophobe’s” comments. Much easier to just engage in name calling rather than in any considered criticism. Guess it works for the HUffPo audience!

Excellent point, Larry S. Islamo Brothers political leaders go on TV and say they are going to annihilate all Jews, and these Huffpos are oddly quiet.
But then Pamela points out a clear connection between terror verses in the Quran and present day terrorist activities, and the Huffpos start to foam in their mouths.
Why are they acting this way? Because they are into tolerance and they do not want to offend minorities…

Off topic. I recall an Atlas Shrugs post in 2009:

Jihadwatch down again
Another DOS attack on Robert Spencer. Jihadwatch is down. Ugh. I will keep you posted.”
Is Jihad Watch down again? For a few hours today, I cannot connect to the site, it says —
“The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading. The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.”

sam-
Now ask yourself, when was the last time you heard of a Jew, with the sanction of any rabbi, “sleep” with a nine year old. Then ask yourself, when was the last time you heard of a Muslim, with the sanction of an imam or ayatollah, murder someone for, oh, being an apostate of insulting Islam?
I know it’s a tough one, but can you comprehend the point?

Could we persuade Ms. Huffington to spend a week in Saudi Arabia? That would probably shut her the hell up. Being opposed to Islam is a GOOD thing–not that an ignoramus like her would realize this, given her limited knowledge of the topic. Ignorance about the homicidal and totalitarian nature of Islam on the other hand is an insidious and VERY dangerous thing that puts us all in jeopardy of losing our country and freedom.

Dear Pamela,
What you are doing is so vital, true and correct. You are casting confidence into the hearts and minds of those who, like us, remember and believe in the human freedoms of thought and speech.
Sharia is the choice of savages or of those cowards so politically correct they have lost or renounced their moral compass.

message to Sam:
The Talmud is not held to be sacred by Jews and is not generally followed. The Kuran however is.
The Jews have not left a trail of genocide across the planet as Islam because Isla DID in fact follow the teachings of the Kuran closely and DID hold them sacred.
Thus there is no comparison to be made between the two.

There they go again and pervert the meaning of a phrase.
The theme of “Resident Evil” as I understand it was created to mirror terrorism: after foreign muslims attacked America, America can be attacked by muslims who live in America and are possibly Americans, resident muslims, resident terrorists. The phrase resident islamophobe goes into the opposite direction.
The catchy part of the Resident Evil or Resident muslim term is that you would expect mujahedeen or other terrorist to live in an Islamic country or other terrorist country in the first place, not in America. But a person like Pamela Geller can be expected to be found in America in the first place and in a sharia-without-free-speech country like Saudi Arabia in the last place.
resident muslim vs resident islamophobe
resident traitor (or 5th column) vs resident patriot

Pamela(& friends), you are a racist jew. you are a shame to white people everywhere from all religions. and just because you find support from racist americans doesn’t make your message special. even Hitler & the KKK had followers.
just know that your actions make non-jews want to support the jihad against you, when they wipe your country from the earth I will not be surprised that you kept that fire burning untill the end of your days
you have become Hitler, you are doing to Palistinians what Hitler did to your grandparents, you are a shame to all that died. you are part of the problem not anything close to a sollution.
fuck you fuck all religions, look at you freeks talking about an entire faith as if you are the flipside that is Good. you are really sad and I am so happy to not be a Jew nor an American. & you can thank Pamela”propaganda”Geller, I actualy used to like Jews, you have proven to me that “some”Jews are as racist as Hitler. and I hope the poor people of Palestine bomb the shit outta you.
I wouldn’t let you babysit my dog. I hope you suffer for many years, I hope you know you deserve what ever bad happens to you all. because you are pretty pathedic

With this campaign even Ariana herself may ask in what context was this quote spoken? and why the distinction between believers and unbelievers. . . could lead into the topic of dehumanization of the UNbelievers, apes and swine, etc. Excellent quotation choice. Contrasted with other religions there is no comparison. It is just not a nice religion at all, even though many of the people who follow it are good.

Islamism as it is practiced today is merely a co-opting of the Muslim faith (where is the outrage?) to the point it has become an ideology and not a “race, religion, or other protected category”.

Hey HuffPo, where do you get off speaking for “New Yorkers” Plural! Unless you know for sure that in fact New Yorkers didn’t react to kindly, speak for yourself. Indict yourself! Don’t indict good and reasonable, free speech loving New Yorker(s), how dare you!

I haven’t read all the comments over there at the HuffPo, but I’ve read quite a few. It seems that you have a lot of support there, Pamela.
In any case, the HuffPo is also providing an around-the-barn way of getting the word out.

You know what? A lot more people are aware of the whitewash of Islam than only those of us who frequent the counterjihad blogosphere.
Lies such as those the mainstream media and academia propagate only go so far, you know. The truth will out! It’s our job to see that the truth will out sooner rather than later.

New Yorkers didn’t react too kindly? Or was it an orchestrated act by a few savages? I would guess most New Yorkers agree with the ads.

Really bad Jihadi freeverse.
Jews are as racist as Hitler
non-jews want to support the jihad against you
I hope the poor people of Palestine bomb the shit outta you.
Sublime cognitive dissonance.

@”Youare Racists”:
The most fitting response to you is the the very basic:”F*CK YOU,YOU POS”!
And this Hitler comparison is COMEDIC.
Do you think any one other than a WEAK LEFTY POS HUMAN DOORMAT would care about such a blatantly ridiculous “thought”.
Why don’t you go to Gaza and be a Human Shield for a Hamas Rocket Launcher located in a Hospital, school,or apartment building to demonstrate how far your hatred of “The Joos” will go.
