US Senatorial Candidate Wendy Long supports anti-jihad ad

Ms. Long I’m so happy that someone is standing up for what this country is founded on.

Way to go Wendy. These men on this program have no backbone. We need to call savages savages. All people that took part of the attacks on our embassy’s and ambassador are savages and their actions are not because of a movie but because they want to kill and obliterate all nations and people that are not muslim. They are, have been, and will always be at war with all other beliefs and are looking for any excuse to kill and torture people in the name of their god. They are dogs.

The moderator in this discussion continuously and erroneously tries to suggest that the ad calls an ethnic or religious groups savages – that is completely untrue and here’re the specific talking points that should be used:
1. the ad refers to people demonstrating a particular behavior “savages” – not a religious or ethnic group
2. any group that engages in the “behavior” of jihad, as in those who drove planes into buildings on 9/11, or those who engaged in 19,600 terrorist acts in a little over 10 years or those who are ethnically cleansing out co-opts in egypt, Christians out of gaza/iraq, Hindus/Christians out of Pakistan, are “savages”
3. Calling jihadis “savages” is compareable to calling child-rapists savages. Its is not compareable to calling Irish, Israelis or even Muslims savages
Unless we make the above three points consistently and repeatedly – some nitwit or the other is going to keep repeating the refrain of “hai-allah – they called all muslims savages”

What people fail to realize is that if one person has an opinion that is different from what you would do, that doesn’t make them wrong or unintitled to share it under the law. They seem to think there is a consensus on what good taste is and that that should be the law. There is no precedent for that. They do the same thing to Westboro Baptist when they hold up signs at funerals. People get offended and take the signs the wrong way. They are not a provocation to fight, yet people do start fights because of them. The problem is that people don’t feel the need to stop and think about what another person’s opinion and perspective is about.
If I saw this sign, knowing nothing about this organization, it would make me think that someone cares about Isreal for a change instead of all of the ads against Isreal, and it would make me wonder what was meant by the word savage. That might make me look into the issue more, trying to see what the purpose was behind the poster. Someone else looks at the sign and acts as if it is just name calling to start a fight. It is a matter of your own intellectual depth how you perceive someone eles’s opinions. If we have to have everything boiled down to the lowest common denominator, then the only people who have any freedom of speech will be those without the faculties to even create speech.

Not just comparable but for most islamists, exactly the same, since they find child-rape acceptable under the shariah – what is good enough for Mo is good enough for them.

I have noticed the same thing mentioned above and seen it elsewhere. Someone has snatched away these men’s testicles and brains such that the only one left that seems to have either one is the woman.

I don’t know whether the jihad adds are the way to go, but I agree with what you’re saying. Muslims are going to take this country over, but only because of Americans(like Ellen Burnett) who are too blind to see that it is slowly happening-look at Dearborn,Michigan. You’re right, we will be under Sharia law one day, and I pray to God it’s not in my lifetime. It will be Nazi Germany all over again. I’m not fooled by American Muslims-they don’t love America,either. Violence is inherent to their religion. I will always,as a Christian,love and support Israel. I don’t hate Muslims, but I think people should call a ‘spade a spade’.

The moral ambiguity on the part of the three men is sickening. If someone were to refer to Israelis as savages of course it would be demonstrably false. Clearly “palestinian” and islamic societies in general, through their media, mosques and schools indocrinate to hate and kill. When “palestinian” islamic terrorists blow themselves in a crowd of Jews, slit the throat of Jewish children and babies, this is celebrated in their society and the jihadists are revered. If this is not savagery, then nothing is. Is it any wonder that western civilization is in trouble when we cannot even make basic moral distinctions? We have every justification to paint with a broad brush “palestinians” and muslims. They have not given us reason to do otherwise.

Burnett is obviously carrying water and fails to recognize that while she’s subordinating her personal power to the Obama Tribe, she’s missing the boat entirely for her network. CNN ratings are as in the tank as its reporters. The viewing public doesn’t want apologists “so in love” with Obama that they have zero tolerance for a challenge. Obama is competition-averse enough for all of them. Put a legitimately competitive, classically strong journalist team on the air and the ratings will be theirs.
