NY Mayor Bloomberg defends free speech

9

Rebuking sharia demands by Islamic supremacist Hamas-CAIR for blasphemy restrictions on free speech, Mayor Bloomberg defended the law of the land (albeit in his signature craven style) and supported the running of our anti-jihad ads:

"NYC mayor weighs in on provocative subway ad" Wall Street Journal, September 20, 2012

NEW YORK — New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg says Americans tolerate
things they might find despicable because of the First Amendment's
protection of free expression.

Story continues below advertisement

He was responding to a court decision that orders the MTA to display a provocative ad that equates Muslim radicals with savages.

He spoke Friday on his weekly WOR Radio show.

Pamela Geller, a conservative blogger, is behind the ad that will run in 10 subway stations next week.

She once headed a campaign against an Islamic center near the World Trade Center site. Bloomberg defended it.

The mayor said he didn't think Americans should preach to anyone
else. But he found it "disgraceful" that a controversial video about
Muslims could spark the kind of violence that has resulted in the death
of the American ambassador to Libya.

CAIR and its affiliates have spent a great deal of time working on Bloomberg and twisting him around their sticky little fingers. Did they take it for granted they had him in their pocket?
Bloomberg has got to take stock and start taking some responsibility – his constant kowtowing and appeasing these manipulate and dangerous people has to stop. Give them an inch and they will take a mile.
I won’t be holding my breath on this one – even so, it is a welcome relief to read this.

Maybe Mayor Bloomberg is slowly waking up from his past stupor.
“he found it “disgraceful” that a controversial video about Muslims could spark the kind of violence that has resulted in the death of the American ambassador to Libya.”
yup. That’s right Bloomey. And now stop supporting that mosque by Ground Zero, which has no other purpose but to earmark Islam’s future ownership of America. There exist no intent for “multi-religious” spiritual centers with Muslims. It’s completely forbidden in their “faith”. Else they would have hundreds of them across the Muslim world. But they don’t even have one. What they have is what is left from hundreds of centuries of looting and invasion.
So wake up.

“She once headed a campaign against an Islamic center near the World Trade Center site. Bloomberg defended it.”
Huh?
C’mon WSJ, I expect more from you than this drivel. It was a major accomplishment with so many of the opposition arrayed against her but Pamela came, she exposed and she defeated the establishment of the supremacist victory mosque at Ground Zero. Let’s give credit where credit is due. Puleeeze.

Not a New Yorker, but from here in flyover country, the prospect of seeing Bloomberg defending Free Speech and the Constitution makes me wonder if he has not has a stroke or a transient ischemic attack?

New Yorkers tolerate lots of things they might find despicable, such as Nanny “Mike” Bloom-tard. He hasn’t defended free speech at all here, but in his condescending, infuriating, snotty school-marm style said [translated to libtalk]: [wink-wink] “That’s what the Court decided, so we superior elite must accept this offence to our eyes. “Signature craven” is how Pamela describes the speaking manner of this insect. For those Atlas Shrugs readers unfamiliar with the spewings of this creature, it has a voice that makes you want to put your fist through its metrosexual face.

What the heck is “provocative” about equating muslim radicals with savages? Everyone knows they are, and the lynchings in Libya and the current riots all over the muslim world have just provided yet another proof of that well-known truth.

For the record, Mayor Bloomberg, Nothing is “despicable” about calling proponents of jihad “savages”. How many must they slaughter before the concept of jihad is unveiled as the savagery it truly is?
