Tales from the Front: Stockholm

Here is an account of what happened in Stockholm from a Swede, Göran P, who was there:

When Stockholm was turned into a war zone

Railway Square a beautiful late summer's August 4, 2012. For several hours, police have cordoned off the area while awaiting the day's events. A nasty mood in the air as hundreds of counter-demonstrators are being collected in order to stop a public opinion meeting of anti-Islamist groups. All the time people drop in with a hateful look and menacing comments. In the end, all the connecting streets uncorked again of perhaps a thousand people. At the same circuit a police helicopter in the air and the rattle from being mixed with the sound of sirens wailing away about twenty police vehicles.

Soon the scenes take place such that we thought we would experience in the Swedish capital, but rather believe they moved to Baghdad or Beirut during the Civil War. The time 14:00 is anti-Islamists' meeting announced. One hundred people have gathered to listen to speakers who include Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer.

   By then, the police cordoned off the hermetically site by vehicles, riot police and mounted police. Soon the heavy burning of firecrackers that may be ground to vibrate and the horses rampant with fear. An assault is attempted suddenly of counter-demonstrators who, however, beaten back by police. A firecracker thrown suddenly against a police officer who must be helped away by his colleagues. The strong detonation may have given him permanent damage in the form of tinnitus or impaired vision due to shrapnel in the eye.

Just a few hours earlier, police bomb squad summoned and rendered harmless an object which proved to be a dummy. The message was clear: those who go to this meeting, do it with their lives.

   The anti-Islamic meeting is held, however, as planned and ends at 16 o'clock. Thanks to the police have no participant been injured or killed.

After the events of that day brought many thoughts about what may be terminated or not in Sweden today. What is freedom of assembly are worth and what views may be brought forward in the public domain?

In the case of counter-demonstrators were rather left-wing extremists rather than pro-Islamists which formed the core of cadres. Some of them traveled to the Danes who are known to be particularly hard-line troublemakers by the police.

   A leaflet from the Left indicates the basic tone of the counter-demonstrators mindset:

"Anders Breivik killed a year ago, 77 people in Norway in a right-wing terrorism. He hates. I hate Muslims. Hate dissidents. But he is not alone. "

   Later it continues: "SD as other established parties fueling xenophobia and hatred of Muslims when they single out immigrants, especially Muslims, as a problem."

The conclusion is that all views except the Left really is of the same spirit as the Behring Anders Breivik. This justified the use of violence as a political tool as it would do to avert an even worse scenario.

If everyone who hates Communism – with its grim historical retrospect of 100 million dead people – would argue the same way we would have seen a growing spiral of violence that would make life and society into an ongoing nightmare.

What has rarely emerged in the debate is that Breivik in its manifesto also expressed appreciation for the strong left leaders like Mao Tse-tung, Che Guevara and Fidel Castro. All his so-called worldview is extremely vague and contradictory and difficult to fit into a left-right scale.

In the case of Islamism as an ideology, it is clear that this is directed against the Western world, is highly aggressive and intolerant.

 

   In Expressen on 5/8, it appears that one of the top leaders of the terrorist organization al-Shabaab, Abdulkadir Mumin, for many years lived and worked in Gothenburg.

The same article reveals that he was in February this year said: "We will continue jihad until we get to taste death as our brother Osama (bin Laden) or until we win and rule the whole world."

   The same man has to a Norwegian TV crew said that he would expose his daughter to FGM. The source told Expressen with scales, according to the newspaper, does not appear by name for fear of retaliation.

The world view that the left extreme paint is different, where a part from the pro-Islamists achieve. But there are some common features – such hatred against America and Israel. From time to time Israel and the hostility of the pure anti-Semitism.

   In somewhat simplified, summary, one can describe their common understandings as follows:

The world is controlled by money. The Jews pursued by their banks a very great influence on the world economy. The Jews also owns a large extent the media that influence people's political views. The Jews are allied with the United States with its large military apparatus controls the world. The hunt for oil and ever-higher profits will continue as long as the Jews rule the world. If only the U.S. and Israel ceased to exist the world would be so much better.

The Social Democrats have a bout of this worldview, which includes been expressed in some controversial statements by Ilmar Reepalu. He is far from alone in this view. The journal Faith & Politics, published by the Brotherhood Movement, the 2/7 2012 dismissed the writer Adrian Kaaba anti-Islamism as a "jew-European conspiracy" that had close ties with the Zionist movement.

2007 invited the renowned anti-Semite Gilad Atzman of Brotherhood movement and other leftist organizations to give talks. Did Atzman has in the past questioned the Holocaust as a historical fact. A couple of years before it was Azzam Al-Tamini who was invited guest of honor – a man who include advocated suicide bombing as a political tool.

The journal Socialist Forum was recommended on 5/11 2004 reading by renowned Russian antisemite Israel Shamir's book "Flowers of Galilee" and the pamphlet "The CIA and September 11," in which the author claims that the terrorist attack against the World Trade Center, in fact, conducted by the CIA in unlikely collaboration with – yes, you guessed it – Israel.

It is significant that in the heterogeneous counter-demonstration at Railway Square on 4/8 side by a group of people who carried signs saying "Against Nazism" with individuals of a very different picture. Two passers-by talking loudly about an exchange with an Israel-friendly woman they had met at a time before that.

   "There was a Zionist whore, so she kept quiet" was the final comment before the two disappeared into the sea by counter-demonstrators.

Obviously it is just a difference in choice of words, the Nazis would have said Jewish sow in the 1930s, now called the Zionist whore instead.

While anti-Semitism was – and is – a terrible reality, the concept of "Islamophobia" an imaginary phenomenon invented and fomented by the Muslim Brotherhood.

The conflicts that sometimes occur are more concerned with fashion or codes of conduct in public space to do other than discrimination.

All who believe that the resistance against militant Islam is based on racism and hatred is recommended to visit the exmuslim.net and read what the former Muslims have to say the Swedish establishment's appeasement policy towards the Muslim fundamentalist movements in Sweden and in other countries.

Or is it perhaps the case that these are not what they purport to be, but in fact part of the "jew-European" conspiracy?
