As colleges and universities continue to make extraordinary accommodation to Muslims on their campuses (i.e. Muslim prayer rooms, foot baths, sharia-compliant curriculum, etc) the war on non-believers widens:
"Law Professor John Banzhaf Wants Crosses Removed at Catholic U" J. Christian Adams, PJM, July 28, 2012
George Washington School of Law Professor John Banzhaf is demanding that Catholic University in Washington D.C. remove crosses and Christian symbols so as not to offend Muslim sensibilities.

The Washington, D.C. Office of Human Rights confirmed that it is investigating allegations that Catholic University violated the human rights of Muslim students by not allowing them to form a Muslim student group and by not providing them rooms without Christian symbols for their daily prayers.
Realize of course that Catholic University is a private institution. Attacks on the freedom of the Catholic Church are the sort of things thug regimes do around the world and throughout history.
The only thing more frightening than asking a government to force a church to remove religious symbols is perhaps the fact that law professor John Banzhaf is teaching legions of subservient law students such dangerous and un-American nonsense.

Just say NO – it’s none of this idiot, liberal prof’s business. If the Muslim students don’t like the crosses, then they can go elsewhere to ‘study’ & sow hate & discontent. Do not allow them to drive policy – or the libs for that matter!

This speaks miles about the crap of a person we’re talking about. If I were in his place, I’d keep my mouth shut and fear for my job. And I am a Math professor. But then again, in this America all you have to do for a high appointment is have the korrekt thoughts.

Here are some questions we must answer before we will ever understand what is happening: Is there or has there ever been an effort to form a worldwide Caliphate ruled by Shariah? Is it one of the beliefs of Shariah all nations (people) who do not acknowledge Shariah are sinners and it is therefore the right of the believers, Shariah, to make war upon them? Is it OK to make slaves of those that do not believe in Shariah? Do believers of Shariah claim all Muslims who are slain in this battle for a world caliphate will go to Paradise? Do they believe in a prophet? Is this all written down and if so, where? Will atheists, Democrats, RINOs, progressives, communists, socialists, Marxists come under the jurisdiction of Shariah?
This is a part of a letter by John Adams & Thomas Jefferson dated March 28, 1786: “The Ambassador answered us that it was founded on the Laws of their prophet, that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as Prisoners, and that every musselman who should be slain in battle was sure to go to Paradise.”

It is absolutely ridiculous to worry about offending muslims. They are offended by everything non muslim! They are offended by crucifix. They are offended by churches. They are offended by Christianity. They are offended by Buddhism. They are offended by Hinduism. They are certainly offended by atheism!
I assume this idiot professor is not a muslim. Does this nincompoop realize that his VERY existence is offensive to muslims?? If he wants to avoid offending muslims, he should hang himself right now!!! ( In fact, that may be a good prescription for anyone who worries about offending muslims! )

The same professor sued to make the Catholic University stop “gender discrimintation” in dorm assignments. The university has a “discriminatory” policy that mandates boys room with boys and girls with girls. Scalia slapped that one down.
Question: Do you think mixed gender dorm rooms would offend Muslims? It is not hard to see what is really going on here.

I dont think you need to be a legal expert to figure out that if muslims can successfully force a Christian institution to remove it’s symbols then every religion becomes vulnerable to these demands.
The Professor who is leading this effort is an idiot. But what a clever way to force America to make Islam the state religion. And without even firing a shot.

Strangely enough: I have had a case in my country where someone wanted to remove crosses and other Christian symbols from schools. We learned through that case that in Bavaria public schools are decorated with them while in the rest of the country they are usually not. But as it turned out, that someone who wanted the crosses removed was an atheist while all muslims showed ok with the crosses.

Everyone – I feel the same as far as Americans allowing things to change because they are afraid to “offend” people. It sucks and has to stop. But in this case, this idiot professor filed the complaint on his own accord! no Muslim students complained about Catholic University. Even this professor has said this – it is only filed in his name. he placed ads in the CU newspaper to entice Muslim students to join him in his complaint – and no one has done so (the professor admitted this). So in this case – it wasnt Muslim students. There are plenty of other things our government allows to happen that it shouldnt, but this time, this isnt one of them.
