Magdi Khalil is a Coptic Christian political analyst, researcher, author and executive editor of the Egyptian weekly Watani International. He is also a columnist for Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper, London, a free-lance writer for several Arabic language newspapers, and a frequent contributor to Middle East broadcast news TV. Khalil has also published three books and written numerous research papers on citizenship rights, civil society, and the situation of minorities in the Middle East. He is one of the most prominent advocates of human rights in Egypt. He focuses in his writings on minorities, including Copts in Egypt.
Robert Muise is the co-founder and senior counsel of the American Freedom Law Center. He is an expert in constitutional law. The last twelve years of his law practice has been dedicated to defending religious liberties, the freedom of speech, and the right to life in state and federal trial and appellate courts all across the country. More recently, Mr. Muise has been involved in numerous cases defending American freedoms against the growing threat of sharia. Prior to starting his constitutional law practice in 2000, Mr. Muise served thirteen years as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Darwin Jiles was a close friend of Jessica Mokdad who offers firsthand testimony to the fact that Jessica was a victim of Islamic honor killing.

On Friday, Macomb County Assistant Prosecutor Bill Cataldo, who is chief of homicide, told the Free Press that Mokdad's death was not related to Islam or culture.
"It's not a case based on honor," Cataldo said. "The family objects to them using her name."
April 2011:
Macomb County Assistant Prosecutor Bill Contaldo said: “He thought she was becoming too Westernized. I think this was a very nice young lady wanting to experiment with Western culture without control and without abuse.” The Detroit Free Press reported: “Mokdad’s mother told police that Alfetlawi felt so shamed by her daughter’s Western ways. He killed her in an honor killing, Warren Police Sgt. Stephen Mills said.” Alfetlawi was so concerned about her behavior that he even forced her to go to a mosque and marry her boyfriend.
Shame on Macomb County Assistant Prosecutor Bill Cataldo. It is his job to protect all citizens. It is not his job to cover up gendercide or placate a supremacist community. He would do well to spend time with Laura Reckart, lead prosecutor in Arizona v. Almaleki. The Noor Almaleki murder trial was the first case in the U.S. where "honor killing" was successfully used to obtain a conviction of a father who murdered his daughter. But prosecutors were disappointed in the conviction on the lesser charge of second-degree murder. The prosecution believed Almaleki should have been convicted of first-degree murder.
Shame on Cataldo.

I’m sure that Bill Contaldo simply wants to keep his job, it’s a political position, right? The Muslim community is circling its wagons and of course the devout women are defending the party line. No discussion on honor killing, period.
I do hope that with all this attention they will all be on their best behavior, or at least full victim mode.

It still amazes me that there are “human beings” who will come out and accuse you of being Islamophobic,and of hate crimes simply because you are opposed to the murdering of women.
It is difficult to even grasp such accusations in a civilized World. But the Koran’s teachings are locked in an archaic and ancient world that allows for no change because the words in the Koran are considered pure for all time. The teachings in the Koran were supposedly given to Mohamed by the Angel Gabriel from Allah and thus can never be abrogated. Anyone trying to change the words in the Koran can be marked for death as a blasphemer.

Sorry to put this on such a sensitive thread, but I don’t post anywhere else, and I am soooo angry.
I have just heard that the Co-Op (the Co-Operative Group Limited) in the UK have bowed down to pressure from the neo-nazi boycotters, the BDS (and its evil cohorts, Justiceforpeaceuk (Irony. They don’t want peace. They want annihiliation)).
The Co-Op are now officially banning Israeli goods! This hitleresque hatred from the boycotters and their muslim counterparts is spreading, and if we sit and do nothing, and allow this hatred to grow, it will continue to escalate out of control.
BOYCOTT THE CO-OP, please. If you live in the UK, then please write to the Co-Op and complain, even if you don’t live there, you can still complain, and give them a history lesson whilst you are at it.
Not only do they sell food, clothes, electrical goods, they also sell funeral services; insurance; banking; legal services; travel and they also sell cars.
So, I beg you, please BOYCOTT the Co-Operative Limited company or at least email/contact them with a complaint.

I am thinking about getting a placard done, lol. I would put a notice in my window, but it might get kicked in! Will be emailing first thing in the morning and will post a letter to boot. Will put a letter into the nearest co-op….I will speak with family tomoz, as many of them use the Co-op. Also, hoping someone sets up a proper boycott the Co-op group – t-shirts would be a good idea too.
This is an outrageous move by the Co-op. They may wish they hadn’t started this.

I wasn’t able to make the conference, but in having learned about the Boycott in UK, and I see, these companies include auto sales, they may be asking for trouble in the US. There are laws against boycotts of Israel, usually called by the Arab countries, and that is against the law. Ordinarily, a section of the DOJ would investigate, but, of course, not this Administration’s. If any of these companies are boycotting at the instigation of Arab countries, or are US Chartered, or selling US goods, such as cars,
we can call the Congressional Oversight Committees and demand an investigation.We can call the US suppliers, manufacturing and distribution companies, and get an explanation as to why they continue to deal with these UK entities.Fern’s post confused me somewhat, but I will go to the links.
If these UK companies are insisting anyone with whom they deal is not to do business with Israel, which may be the case, definitely, there will be an investigation.
Does anyone know which auto companies are involved, or sold, by these UK companies?
Also, are these four companies doing any direct business in the US, with our military in any way? There are many possible angles, here.If anyone can enlighten us, please do.

Oh my giddy aunt at this picture (supposedly taken 20 yrs ago) – depicting one of Bradford’s Councillors, in full garb, holding a rocket launcher (RPG) – note too the other weapons, propped up on the left. (Bradford in the UK is a hotbed for islamic radicals and is swamped with no-go areas. It is fast becoming an islamic enclave. I feel sorry for those who are trapped there, too poor to move away.) ‘Aid visit’, my ar*e! This man should be investigated.
Bradford councillor ‘must quit over RPG picture’
A Bradford councillor has said he is “not proud” after a photograph which appears to depict him holding a rocket-propelled grenade launcher was sent to the Telegraph & Argus.
Councillor Amir Hussain (Lab, Toller), executive member for health and social care, said he believed the picture was taken 20 years ago when he was on a charitable trip to Afghanistan – before his time on Bradford Council.
The photograph also shows two guns apparently propped up against a wall next to him. It was not a picture he had in his own possession, he said, and he has never published it on a website.
It comes after the Labour party last week drew attention to a photograph on Facebook showing Respect Party candidate Asif Khan holding a gun. It was said to have been taken on an aid mission to Pakistan’s border with Afghanistan in 2002.

Seven Held On Terrorism Funding Charges

Police have arrested seven people in England and Wales on suspicion of funding terrorism through the alleged sale of the drug khat.
The arrests were made by detectives from the Counter Terrorism Command at four addresses in London, Coventry and Cardiff on Tuesday morning.
“The arrests were a part of a pre-planned, intelligence-led operation, into suspected fundraising for terrorism overseas,” the Metropolitan Police said in a statement.
Six men, ranging in age from 30 to 49, and a 45-year-old woman, were taken to a central London police station where they remain in custody.
The police said they were “investigating a network suspected of illegally exporting the stimulant khat, which is legal in the UK” to other countries.
Khat is grown in North East Africa and Yemen and chewed leaves act as an amphetamine-like stimulant. It has been used in the region for centuries.
The World Health Organisation said: “Khat chewing induces a state of euphoria and elation with feelings of increased alertness and arousal – this is followed by a stage of vivid discussions, loquacity and an excited mood.
“However, at the end of a khat session the user may experience depressive mood, irritability, anorexia and difficulty to sleep.”
Sky News crime correspondent Martin Brunt said: “The plot is allegedly to export the khat from Britain to the US and Canada where it is banned.
“The money that this network has allegedly been raising was then channelled to support terrorism in Somalia or other areas of North East Africa.”
A further eight search warrants were executed at seven residential addresses in London, Worthing, and Coventry, and a business premises in Coventry.
Police said that searches were ongoing, but no other arrests have been made at these premises.
Brunt added: “The US Homeland Security department has been involved in the operation and the planning of it over several weeks.”
