OIC Caliphate Demands Swift Punishment for Infidels Who Burned Quran

27

The OIC represents 56 countries plus the Palestinian Authority. It claims also to represent Muslim immigrants — the “Diaspora” — in Europe, the Americas, Africa, and Asia. It is pan-Islamic: It seeks to unify and lead the world’s 1.3 billion Muslims. In a manual first published in 2001, “Strategy of Islamic Cultural Action in the West,” the OIC asserts that “Muslim immigrant communities in Europe are part of the Islamic nation.”

The OIC, Bat Ye'or  argues, is nothing less than a “would-be, universal caliphate.” It might look different from the caliphates of the Ottomans, Fatimids, and Abbasids. It might resemble, instead, a thoroughly modern trans-national bureaucracy. But, already, the OIC exercises significant power through the United Nations, and through the European Union, which has been eager to accommodate the OIC while simultaneously endowing the U.N. with increasing authority for global governance. Among the other organizations that Ye’or says are doing the OIC’s bidding are the U.N. Alliance of Civilizations, the U.N. Commission on Human Rights, and the European Parliamentary Association for Euro-Arab Cooperation (PAEAC).

In the eyes of OIC officials, no problem in the contemporary world is more urgent than “Islamophobia,” which it calls “a crime against humanity” that the U.N. and the EU must officially outlaw. Even discussing why so much terrorism is carried out in the name of Islam is to be forbidden. The OIC insists, too, that international bodies ban “defamation of religion,” by which it means criticism of anything Islamic. Defamation of Judaism, Christianity, Bahai, Hinduism, and even heterodox Muslim sects such as the Ahmadiyya is common within the borders of many OIC countries, a fact the OIC refuses to acknowledge. OIC Condemns Quran Burning by US Troops in Afghanistan

TEHRAN (FNA)- Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu deplored the burning of the Holy Quran by the US forces in Afghanistan, and called for swift action to punish those responsible for the provocative act.

In a statement on Thursday, Ihsanoglu described the incident as a "deplorable act of incitement", and said that the act runs "contrary to the common efforts of the OIC and that of the international community …to combat intolerance, and incitement to hatred based on religion and belief."

The statement also called on "the concerned authorities to take swift and appropriate disciplinary action against those responsible."

Also on Thursday, US President Barack Obama sent a letter to his Afghan counterpart, apologizing for the acts of desecration.

The developments came as anti-US demonstrations are underway across Afghanistan over the burning of the Holy Quran at the US Airbase.

Media reports said that at least twenty Afghans have been killed since the beginning of protests on Tuesday.

The door has been open in America for these ideological misfits. The only thin left, as the government is not stopping it’s growth, will be the people. Arm yourselves with not only knowledge, but your own personal defense mechanisms. We’ll all need them in the future. Only the unprepared spiritually, mentally and physically will parish in the coming days. Sorry. Truth hurts.

It’s not the mass slaughtering that the OIC labels “deplorable”.

Shouldn’t each and every publishing house of koranic texts be investigated. Even though they are producing korans there are many that are being destroyed due to typing errors, publishing anomalies and many other publishing house mistakes. If they are incapable of producing a perfect koran every time and many korans and koranic texts are being destroyed then isn’t it incumbent on all these holier than thou muslims to attack and destroy these publishing houses.Korans and koranic verse are being destroyed every day by these publishing houses.

Do you think this unbelievable USMC general will dare punish the people involved in disposing of the Korans by the correct way of disposing of religious texts?
We should be alert just in case our brave leadership decides to offer some sacrifices to the savages …

aprilnovember – you took the thoughts right out of my mind! I will bet that those who actually did the burning are going to end up missing, or will be found dead somewhere. And if anyone does just a little digging, the evidence will point right to hussein making sure they paid the ultimate price as their “punishment.”

Yea the US government definitely should have responded to this by insulting muslims further since that would have stopped the violence riight in its tracks and apologizing never does anything.
Typical immature tough-guy bs from politicaly inept children

You will have to forgive ‘Steve the adult’ for his ignorance of the psychology of Islam and the ginning up (with religion, not booze) of the worldwide Brotherhood of Islamic Rage Boys by the propaganda efforts of Mullahs Inc.
You see, ‘Steve the adult’ has never had the benefit of hearing about the story of the Muhammad cartoons and how the rage was expertly built from a modest beginning into something of beauty — a veritable arabesque of rage — where the Brotherhood of Islamic Rage Boys managed to get at least 150 people killed in rioting over the offense, mostly other Muslims, of course.
‘Steve the adult’ means well, but he fails to see the difference between what Americans think and naturally feel free to say about this wonderful Koran, and what they would actually recommend be done were the typical adult American to deal with this issue. The guy in charge of the dump would be told to say words — as few as possible — to the effect, “It was not policy, it was inadvertent.”
Then every American official up to the President, if asked would say “It was not policy, it was inadvertent.” If pressed, the President would say, “That says it all. Beyond that I have no comment.”
That’s what a real apology is: an explanation of an action. Men of self-esteem do not grovel to savages. Neither do nations with self respect. ‘Steve the adult’ would learn a lot if he could see how Islamic Rage Boys react to men who do not grovel. I’m afraid he will not see that as long as the current administration is in power, so that part of his education will have to wait. Meanwhile, having learned about the Mullahs Inc. propaganda machine he can sit back and watch the show play out according to plan, with special attention to whether increased groveling increases these Muslims’ tendency to forgive offenses, or whether increased groveling increases these Muslims’ demands for blood. Seeing the results of that show should make a real adult out of Steve.

Why would any rational US President and leader of the free world apologize for US troops accidentally burning a religious book which is a death sentence on all infidels?

@Steve the Adult
The only apologies from infidels that are acceptable to Moslems are the kind that are followed by conversion to Islam.

Pardon my French, but as far as I’m concerned, the OIC can go fuck themselves.
Apologize over the burning of a book?!?! How about the OIC apologizing for all the beheadings done in the name of Islam over the last 1,400+ years?!?!?!
OIC – Are you fucking kidding?!?!?!

To Muslims, the more he apologizes the weaker he looks. He should have explained why they were burned, and that’s all. It’s past time for our troops to leave the Middle East. We have plenty of oil and gas right here. Just tell the environwhackos to get out of the way.

Of the reply I have read –those that resonate most are that of april, who dared write what many have considered true– And that moving and graphic description by Steve the adult moving up the chain of Command. America seems to have not yet reached that point where it has heard-and seen all it can possibly stand from the Mahdi currently defiling the People House. We have a Congress of weak and corrupted men more interested in being fisted by their friends at the next Washington Dinner or worried about their latest scheme to dun the peons who continue to reelect them to do What? No America is having too much fun pissin in the wind over this offal in the Highest Office When some say to H___ with the crabs in the brine bucket I’m going to fix the fan Honor the Code When we have been pushed to that point we rise up from the supine Maybe then the Community Organizer will find out how many of his rogues gallery of thuggery he can really trust for all those political plumb he has organized their way. Then I will remember AMERICA.

KARZAI DEMANDS TRIAL FOR DESECRATERS
Obama apologizes to Karzai for Koran burning and the Afghan leader graciously responds by demanding that the desecraters be put on trial for blasephemy under Sharia law. If found guilty that means death.
As the Left held Donald Rumsfeld responsible for the crimes of Abu Ghraib and called for his resignation where is their outcry against Leon Panetta over the crime of US troops burning several Korans and igniting such deadly mayhem in Afghanistan?

I expect the OIC will demand swift action to punish those responsible for the extreme provocative act of deliberate destruction of ancient precious Hindu and Buddist statues in the Maldives. If this is not incitement, what the Muslims did to Buddhist and Hindu sacred objects, I don’t know what is.
