Americans Barred From Leaving Egypt Seek Refuge at Cairo Embassy While Obama Speeds Money to the Muslim Brotherhood

More fetid blossoms off Obama's endorsed Islamic spring in Egypt. Americans are being barred from leaving Egypt.

Reuters reported three days ago that Hussein Obama plans to accelerate the pace of American aid to Egypt. Undersecretary of State Robert Hormats, part of a U.S. delegation that held unprecedented talks last week with Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood, said Washington wanted to provide "more immediate benefits" to Egypt.

Restating the obvious: aid should cease not increase. Obama, the pro-jihad president.

Americans Barred From Leaving Egypt Take Refuge at Cairo Embassy Wall Street Journal

CAIRO—Three American democracy advocates barred by Egyptian authorities from leaving the country have sought refuge at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo, officials said Monday, as tensions between the two allied nations sharply escalated over a probe into foreign-funded organizations.

The unusual step comes amid a row over an Egyptian crackdown on U.S.-funded groups promoting democracy and human rights that has jeopardized more than $1 billion of crucial U.S. aid to Egypt, one of its biggest recipients.

A group of senior Egyptian generals landed in Washington on Sunday to try to mend one of the most serious rifts in years with the U.S.

The investigation is closely intertwined with Egypt's political turmoil since Hosni Mubarak's fall nearly a year ago. The generals who took power have accused "foreign hands" of being behind protests against their rule and frequently depict the protesters as receiving foreign funds in a plot to destabilize the country.

Egyptian authorities are preventing at least six Americans and four Europeans from leaving the country, citing a probe opened last month when heavily armed security forces raided the offices of 10 international organizations. Egyptian officials have defended the raid as part of legitimate investigation into the groups' work and funding.

Oh I am sure that the Muslim Brotherhood won’t use the jizya money for terrorism…you know, the whole reason for its existence. Paying the enemy to kill you. Makes sense to me. Not. Obama must go.

Most people would call this hostage taking or kidnapping. Another stunning foreign policy of OBama’s. Instead of hijacking airplanes, Islam can stay in the comfort zone than demand money for Hostages. It has the Obama touch all over it.

Jerusalem Post

US officials said an Egyptian military delegation was expected in Washington this week for regular talks which are nevertheless expected to focus in large part on the impasse over the NGOs.
The Obama administration is finalizing its budget for the 2013 fiscal year, which will be presented on Feb. 13 and is expected to include continued assistance for Egypt’s military, albeit subject to new conditions imposed by US lawmakers.
Those include evidence that Egyptian military authorities are committed to holding free and fair elections and implementing policies to protect freedom of expression, association, and religion, and due process of law.

The ransom for the hostages will be the dropping of those conditions.

It strains my sympathy to worry about people who burrow into the asshole of the world and complain that they’ve got shit on them or they can’t squirm back out.
For the fifteen-millionth time: No sentient being should ever go to a Muslim country for any reason other than to kill Muslims.

Sam LaHood and company were jeopardizing US aid to Egypt. The junta closed down their offices, took them hostage and will let them leave Egypt on condition that the badly needed aid continues regardless of human rights violations and supression of democracy. No aid no exit; and Obama has a Jimmy Carter moment.

People never learn from the past, unless they have men of real learning.
The American Founding Fathers knew this lesson well. It why the Barbary war was fought.
Dane-Geld
A.D. 980-1016
It is always a temptation to an armed and agile nation
To call upon a neighbour and to say: —
“We invaded you last night–we are quite prepared to fight,
Unless you pay us cash to go away.”
And that is called asking for Dane-geld,
And the people who ask it explain
That you’ve only to pay ’em the Dane-geld
And then you’ll get rid of the Dane!
It is always a temptation for a rich and lazy nation,
To puff and look important and to say: —
“Though we know we should defeat you, we have not the time to meet you.
We will therefore pay you cash to go away.”
And that is called paying the Dane-geld;
But we’ve proved it again and again,
That if once you have paid him the Dane-geld
You never get rid of the Dane.
It is wrong to put temptation in the path of any nation,
For fear they should succumb and go astray;
So when you are requested to pay up or be molested,
You will find it better policy to say: —
“We never pay any-one Dane-geld,
No matter how trifling the cost;
For the end of that game is oppression and shame,
And the nation that pays it is lost!”

What are these Westerners accussed of doing besides helping? They are being detained for being Westerners then? Are they going to be duly exterminated for offending Allah, like they plan to do with the Mubarek family? It is unconcionable that the USA is still sending them aid. Maybe they approved aid for the Mubarek regime, but now this MB regime is doing everything it can to oppose us.
To me, the Muslims are the new Nazis. They creep into power slowly making it look like the people wanted them, they step up their harrassments and loss of freedom against the undesirables slowly, and they usurp power slowly until the point is reached where a successful blizkrieg can be launched and throw everyone off guard and under their heinous satanic systemic dominance.
What good is hiding in the US embassy when the president is supporting them? I don’t think the safety there will last very long. It is one little building in a sea of enemies, it could be overrun any minute. They should see about smuggling themselves out of Egypt, to be honest.
The Muslims Brotherhood is like the Nazi SS. They say it is all legal and they have their papers, so it is all good. Meanwhile they are just racist hateful evil killers who are seeking any and every avenue to exterminate their opponents. These people need to run for their lives.
