Pamela Geller, WND: Rick Perry, Fifth Column Candidate

22
Wnd tagline

Today, my weekly column for World Net Daily further expands on my American Thinker article on Monday that speaks to Rick Perry's dhimwitted connections. The response to that piece has been overheated, visceral.

Here is an excerpt, but go and read the whole thing.

Yes, Rick Perry is the Fifth Column Candidate Pamela Geller, WND

Story continues below advertisement

First, Norquist. Yes, all Perry did was give a speech in partnership with Grover Norquist, and promote it on his website. Norquist heads up Americans for Tax Reform, and Perry’s tax-cutting message is redolent of Norquist’s influence. But Norquist also has deep and extensive ties to Islamic supremacists and jihadists, as I showed in the first article. That raises legitimate questions about whether or not Perry knows about or cares about, or even endorses, that activity by Norquist. I certainly would refuse to speak at the same event in partnership with Grover Norquist – let alone promote it on my website. Shouldn’t Rick Perry have, too?

Grover Norquist’s background is no secret. His tax mask has worn thin. It was old five years ago. Grover Norquist is toxic and should be persona non grata in the Republican party. He is a front for the Muslim Brotherhood. And has been exposed as the recipient of huge donations from a Brotherhood figure who is now in jail for financing terror activity. I don’t want to see a GOP presidential candidate palling around with Grover and his thugs. I want a presidential candidate to declare that he will appoint an attorney general at the DoJ who will press forward immediately with the prosecutions of the co-conspirators named in the Holy Land Foundation trial, the largest terror funding trial in our nation's history. I want a presidential candidate who is unafraid of the stealth jihadists in our midst, and who will vow that he will clean out the infiltrators.

Perry norquist

There are legitimate questions about the Aga Khan, also. The Ismailis are peaceful, yes, and the Aga Khan Foundation is an established Islamic charity. But the Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development is also part-owner of the Pakistan-based Bank al-Habib, which Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl’s widow Mariane sued in 2007 for damages relating to its funding of al-Qaeda and involvement in the murder of her husband by Islamic jihad terrorists. She dropped the suit later that year without explanation, except to note that the Habib Bank had never answered her charges.

And then on August 26, 2008, the Aga Khan Development Network made a proud announcement: “The Syrian Government and the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) yesterday signed three landmark agreements designed to strengthen collaboration in the areas of microfinance, healthcare, and cultural tourism.” Syria’s Prime Minister, Mohamed Naji Al-Otri, and the Aga Khan signed the agreements. The agreements involved recognition of the First Microfinance Institution (FMFI), part of the Aga Khan Agency for Microfinance, “as the first microfinance institution to operate in the country.” Between 2003 and 2008, it spent $40 million to develop business in Syria.

Investigative reporter Mark Mitchell observes that “the Aga Khan Foundation’s membership and supporters also include top military officers in Syria, such as General Moustapha Sharba, who had a hand in the early stages of the covert nuclear weapons program that Syria was developing with help from North Korea (and probably Iran).” Sharba is in this photo with Ismaili leaders; the full identification of the people pictured is on this page under “82001971.”

The Aga Khan Development Network is doing all this in partnership with the Syrian government that is now firing on its citizens, and for years has allowed the jihad terror groups Hamas and Hezballah to operate with impunity out of Damascus. Sure, the Ismailis are peaceful. But why shouldn’t there be questions about a candidate’s friendship with the owner of a bank accused of funding al-Qaeda (and never exonerated), a man who also does business with the terror-supporting government of Syria?

There's more. Much. Go.

Also working the Rick shift, Jerry Gordon has other nefarious Perry connections at the Iconoclast here.

I know this is off topic but I want to say something about the attacks from Harry’s Place Blog: as a number of friends and I can testify, Harry’s Place is not somewhere where free speech is practiced. If you do not pander to their left-wing ideology, you are banned – we have all been banned for our support of the EDL. At the time we did support them. Things change. But once a comment has been posted, no swearing, no attacks, that goes against their beliefs, they ban you. Here is a commenter who disagrees with them, how long will he last?

Look Edmund(Standing), when you and everyone else here were rooting for the Arab Spring, you claimed it was a popular grassroots movement aiming to democratise Egypt.
Spencer, otoh, claimed the movement’s populaism would soon be highjacked by Islamists, and that is now the case.
Five and six months ago HP ran glowing reports on events in Cairo, but I haven’t seen a single article in at least 2 or 3 months now about the revolutions in North Africa.
Why is that?
Is it because your analysis was completely off the mark and Spencer’s spot-on?
All of these revolutions are going islamist just as Jihad Watch told us they would and if Spencer anticipated these turn of events correctly, then perhaps he’s not “ranting” at all.”
They are sad little rank amateurs, who do not put their money where their mouths are, unlike Pamela and Robert Spencer. They do not stand up in public and bravely state the truth, they hide behind their blog. They are followers not leaders, but they are basically what they always were, dhimmified cowardly lefties.

Mr Perry understands that it was wrong that the peaceful, innocent Cherokee were massacred in East Texas for the sins of the Commanches and Apaches of Central and West Texas during the Indian threat just because they occassionally were seen in the same places. So go ahead, take out the Ismails who support Israel. That was YOUR call!

The Aga Khan connection is a worry.
According to this SPIEGEL interview (click on the link) the Aga Khan, Head Honcho of the historical assassins, is your typical Muslim apologist who rails against freedom of speech, cartoons, the west, and he blames us for being ‘ignorant’. On top of all he tell us that his way of thinking is based on the profit of Islam 1400 years ago: “My democratic beliefs do not go back to the Greek or French (thinkers) but to an era 1,400 years ago. These are the principles underlying my religion. ”
What does that tell you?
http://www.spiegel.de/international/spiegel/0,1518,442180,00.html
And the hair-care mogul with the Pali-scarf is equally dodgy, or should we call him a terrorist supporting Islamofascist outright?
No, we already have a Muselmaniac in the white house, we don’t need another Islam enabler. Rick Perry is not the right man to get us out of this mess.

Pamela, please keep the pressure. There’s the chance the guy has been blindsided like the rest of us until we saw the light. I know I was. If so, he still has the chance to reverse course once he realizes what is the underlining goal of the umma: the establishment of shariah throughout the West, and the rebirth of the caliphate.
We are so deep into this, that it’s difficult for any of us to realize how far fetched the revival of the caliphate sounds to any educated and “sophisticated” individual. To revive an empire destroyed during the first quarter of 1900’s?
Realizing that it was never destroyed requires a curious mind and the interest in digging and researching. Only then will the evidence look “the infidel” in the eye.
The caliphate was never destroyed; it just went underground, and its ugly face reemerged in the form of the Muslim Brotherhood in 1928. They have been working on their dream since then: studying our weaknesses, and taking every opportunity to infiltrate their enemy: the Jews and Western civilization.
We should give Perry a chance, or better yet, arrange a meeting with Allen West …, and as soon as possible. Time is of the essence …

Here again Alex Jones is a powerful source of truth on Perry, and the other Globalists. Unfortunately he still is mired in seeing Israel’s hand in the New World Order, despite the obvious neon bull’s eye the unholy union of Leftist Pro-Pallies, Rightist anti-“International Jewry”, Vatican dreamers of Internationalizing of Jerusalem, and Jihadis have jointly painted on the State of Israel’s back.
But for at least a year, Jones has been predicting and warning against Perry’s Presidential bid. James Richard Perry: (JR to his posse?) was a supporter of NAFYTA, and The North American Union and its “Super-Corridor” from Puerto Cardenas on the Pacific Coast of Mexico to Kansas City MO, where the first Customs Office will be! This of course will cut the Longshoremen out of the loop, and the Teamsters will be thrown under the truck, literally, the Mexican truck painted in garish colors and with La Cucaracha horn blast! This will allow the transshipment of Chinese good into the North America even easier. Furthering our de-industrialization, apparently is a key component in the mission of cutting America down to size; the easier to fit her with the yoke of the NWO. And, let us not forget that it was not but 500 years ago that Spain was Islamic. The Moors are coming again.
Perry is a swaggering cowboy boot wearing caricature of the mythic gunman coming to town to restore order: Pale Rider. He is so devious it leaks through his pores.

Pamela, this is getting to be quite depressing. There are many Republicans out there that seem to think Perry is our nominee and we are being bad Republicans for speaking out against him. I remind folks he is not our nominee. In fact, I believe our nominee has not jumped in yet. Reagan did not jump in until November. I keep pushing John Bolton and I pray he jumps in.
Even Weaselzippers has posted two articles accusing us of accusing Perry of being a stealth jihadist. I keep explaining that it isn’t that we think he is a stealth jihadist, we think he is naive. The damage is exactly the same.
He is also bad on illegal immigration. These are both nonstarters for me.
I know you know John Bolton, please encourage him to jump into the race. We need someone who will end Islamic immigration and repatriate them back to their countries of origin.
Also, if this is a “peaceful” sect of Islam, that would mean they don’t believe in the teachings of Mohammed. I ask them, “Why are you still a muslim then?”. That is like saying you are a Christian and don’t believe in the teachings of Christ.

Farouk Shami is the really creepy one. His father was a henchman for the Mufti Of Jerusalem in WWII and Shami peddled conspiracy theories about 911 http://www.statesman.com/news/texas-politics/democrat-shami-also-raises-doubts-on-9-11-233460.html
He also called white Americans lazy.
Norquist is an evil dwarf MB importer.
Of all these connections, Khan is the most normal one.
Aside from his connections to a PAK bank, he has no violent/Jihad connections. In fact during the Afghanistan invasion by the Soviets, Ismaili Afghans sided with the Russian backed government (while the USA supported what later became Al Queda). The Reagans stayed at his house in Geneva during the Gorbachev summits. His efforts are mainly to modernize Muslim countries.
His foundation also collaborated with Israel in setting up hospitals in Kenya.
I do sense that Perry is becoming what Obama became in 2008 for Dems. A sacred savior and those critical of him are cast aside as “haters” “Paulians”…”libertarians” and MSM BS Peddlers. I already see that fanatic following emerge in GOP ranks.
I don’t think Perry is pro Jihad. He is a clever political player who is probably naive or arrogantly self confident in his observations or sense of control.

Harrys changed when Gene took over editing from David Taube.
Taube is British and is a gutsy advocate against Islamism and for Israel. He personally faced off Iranian regime supporters in the UK and took on the monster George Galloway many times.
Gene is a left wing Obama worshiping American who cannot stand criticism of him and his God in the WH.
They were attacked, hacked and denounced by Muslims and the Left so many times that they feel it necessary to attack some anti Jihadis in order to not look too “Islamophobic”. They also attack “Jewish extremists” so that they can show they are “even handed”
Of course that is a futile exercise. Muslims and leftists still consider them evil zionist neocons.
Appeasement never works.
Gene is a fan of that moron Jeffrey Goldberg and Alexander Hitchens who had personal issues with Pamela. They also started to repost libel posts from Charles Johnson though those usually get a spanking in their comments section.
Most of this surfaced during the GZ Mosque controversy. Harrys ran posts on both sides of the issue.
The EDL thing has polarized things even more.
In the UK this is a major controversy and blogs have come under direct pressure from Jewish and other orgs to publicly denounce them. This probably came from high ups in the UK Gov’t which turned the pressure on these orgs which then passed it down to the blogs.

“overheated, visceral”
There is nothing more “overheated, visceral” than attacking a segment of your own base in the same manner that you would attack an enemy. Huge numbers of Texas Republicans supported Perry and supported your cause as well. However, people seem to forget that when you attack a leader they stand behind you are attacking them and that is no way to win friends and influence people. From this point on I recommend you keep your show, once welcome in Texas, out of Texas.

Well google, this is precisely what I am finding so disturbing with Perry supporters. You don’t want to hear it. Sorry, but I want to know the good, the bad, and the ugly of someone I might support.
I am finding many Perry supporters to be as bad as Obama supporters. I have had most of my comments regarding Perry’s stance on illegal immigration and this subject matter, to be removed from my local paper. Very disturbing. Don’t you think?
You are going to support him simply because he has an “R” after his name? No thanks.
We need someone that gets the shariah thing.

I was greatly disturbed to learn that both Sarah Palin and Ann Coulter are buddies with Grover Norquist! Maybe it’s just on the tax issue, maybe not.
One would think (and hope) that any national security-minded patriot would find Norquist repellant. NOT someone to cozy up to.

PAMELA GELLER, WND: RICK PERRY, FIFTH COLUMN CANDIDATE
I don’t know about 5th column unless 5th column means wearing ignorance as a badge of honor. Pamela, Perry is Trump with a twang. He’s a gavone. My hunch is that he’s going to say something so stupid, so ignorant, that he will make Trump look like a class guy.
Do we really get the best candidates money can buy in America?

From this point on Perry intends to be Obama’s worst nightmare, and I intend to be yours. The author of this blog who chose to be a schmuck to those on the right with name calling, “Stealth Jihadist”, followed by lies and deception from the blind, deaf and dumb here, have no clue. Rick Perry stationed himself at the base of the stairs leading down from Air Force One to confront Obama demanding support on the border to battle illegal immigration. But the ignorant here know nothing of that event.
GULLAH You want to understand Perry supporters? He supported US! We support those who support us. We don’t turn on them like a pack of nasty, filthy dogs.
1) Rick Perry after the Falcon Lake murder of an American citizen along the border: “The American people have had it up to here with their lack of understanding and their lack of action (the Federal Government) securing that border, where citizens of both sides can know that they are living in a country where they’re going to be safe,” he said.
2) The 2011 fires that consumed millions of acres and many homes: “I am dismayed that this administration has denied Texans the much needed assistance they deserve,” Perry said in a statement Tuesday night. “It is not only the obligation of the federal government, but its responsibility under law to help its citizens in times of emergency.”
3) Rick Perry trying to save Texas jobs that Obama wants to destroy: “Last week, the federal government sent the very clear message that it seeks to destroy Texas’s successful clean air program and threaten tens of thousands of good Texas jobs in the process. The EPA seems to believe that federal controls and bureaucracy are more important than clean air results.” Gov. Perry said. “Texas’ common-sense approach to air quality permitting works because it avoids the damage caused by Washington’s command and control approach, while cleaning the air, helping create jobs and growing our state economy.”
4) Rick Perry – Jobs. When Rick Perry gets into the presidential race, the country will hear a lot about the jobs Texas created during his term. It’s indisputable — Texas has led the nation: Texas is setting the national pace with a gain of 253,900 jobs between January 2010 and January 2011, according to the [US Bureau of Labor Statistics]. California and Pennsylvania are the runners-up with respective increases of 89,400 and 70,300 jobs. (All totals are seasonally adjusted.)
5) Rick Perry and 30,000 Texans praying for an obviously Ungratefull/Mean Spirited America outside of Texas
“Father, our heart breaks for America,” Perry said, leading the crowd at Reliant Stadium in prayer. “We see discord at home, we see fear in the marketplace, we see anger in the halls of government. And as a nation, we have forgotten who made us, who protects us, who blesses us.”
Amen to THAT

Perry’s record on job creation, etc., is commendable. I do not see where you’ve addressed any of Geller’s points about Perry’s troubling record on Islam and the global jihad.

Governor Perry is known for his strong support and defense of Israel but as president, might he (like Bush) be faced with a choice between Israel and the Saudis / Islam? Saudis have some of the largest oil reserves in the world. The Saudis pressured Bush on Israel. Bush caved. What will President Perry do when he is under similar pressure? Do you think Perry believes different today than he did when he wrote the following after the 9/11 attacks?
“I ask that all Texans be mindful that the attacks on New York City and Washington are not the work of the Islamic faithful, but the work of terrorists – of fanatics – who have HIJACKED (emphasis mine) the name of religion for their campaign of hatred…..Like most of the world’s major religions, the Islamic faith preaches peace, love and tolerance. Indeed, terrorism is the antithesis of the basic tenet to which the one billion Islamic followers all over the world adhere.”

Thank you google for proving my point.
Rabid dog, eh? Yup, that describes how many of you Perry supporters are acting.
I was at the Redstate conference this weekend and met several folks from Texas and they don’t like him.
In state tuition for illegals??? You reward them and you get more illegals. He went down to Mexico in (I believe) 2001 and bad mouthed the American people to Mexico. Outrageous.
By the way, illegals born here are NOT US citizens. Research “authors of the 14th amendment” andy come across the Congressional Globe 1866. In the Globe the proceedings for the 14th amendment were recorded. The gentleman who wrote “subject to the jurisdiction thereof” was recorded as saying “this of course will not mean babies born to foreigners, aliens…”
I would hope you would want the best person for the job. Not someone who is niave about the Islam thing. We don’t think Perry is deliberately trying to install Shariah. He is like Bush…niave. The damage is exactly the same. Robert Spencer had an excellent article on Human Events on Mon and Tues of this week explaining how we must get a president who gets it. If Perry and the most of the rest of the field are elected or Obama, things don’t look good for us past 2012.
Yoy keep attacking like a rabid dog. It just convinces me even more that I won’t support Perry. You can tell A LOT about a candidate by they way his/her followers act. You are reflecting badly my dear. Very badly indeed. Thanks for playing though.
