911 Whitewashing the War: “Never Forget” Morphs into “Forget it”

The enormous effort to whitewash 911 is deeply disturbing and more than a little offensive.

The message is not "forget it." The message is, "never forget."

As I was walking past Manhattan newstands this morning, I saw there, front and center, New York Magazine's special 911 double issue. The cover has huge 911 typeface and this photo. A picture of a blue sky and with huge clouds (or white smoke).

Does this image represent what happened to our great nation ten years ago? Inside, the geniuses on their editorial staff tells us why we were attacked: 

….to the terrorists themselves, "America," remained vague and abstract. The nineteen hijackers had no feeling for our culture and society and only the most general objections to it. When they did think about America, it was a certain kind of dupe, an overmuscled husk through which more malevolent forces moved, some of them having to do with capitalism or Christianity but most having to do with Israel.

Has any other culture been so prone to life-threatening idiocy? Ten years later and the editorial staffers at New York magazine don't know that it was jihad. This is what freedom lovers are up against.

Nowhere inside the issue are pictures of the attack. It is bad enough that those images are embargoed 364 days of the year, but on the tenth anniversary as well?

"An overmuscled husk": the schmuck who concocted that turn of phrase must have been really proud of that one. There cavalier attitude towards our war dead and the war and their disinformation disarms the people and leaves us more vulnerable to the next act of jihad. This city is in a contast state of preparadeness. Against what, exactly? NY Magazine will never tell.

They laud Mayor Gloomberg's insensivity and seeming dementia:

The mayor’s tough, crucial attitude: Get over it.

Though 9/11 made Michael Bloomberg mayor, he’s sometimes seemed insensitive about its aftereffects on others—he once memorably said he wanted to tell widows they needed to “suck it up” and move on. What came across as cold-blooded bluster had an idea behind it, however, one that’s been of surprising importance in coming to grips with the tragedy: The past is past, but we can do something about the future. “What I say to parents at memorial services is ‘You can’t do anything about Johnny. The priest says he’s in a better place. Okay, you believe that, you believe that,’ ” Bloomberg said inside City Hall this past August 15. “ ‘But you can build a better world for him. So start a memorial fund, or just have a good life. And make sure his kids don’t grieve.’ ”

The "Encyclopedia" of 911 has hundreds of entries from "Karlheinz Stockhausen" to "preemption," "paper – dispersal of," "portraits of grief," "blue," "frozeon zone," "America," "Blind sheikh," "carpooling," "Republican convention," "sex and the city — (was it still ok to drink cosmos?)" "yamasaki Minoru," but no "Ground Zero mosque." As if the milliionswho  opposed that cultural obscenity never existed, ignoring that the mega-mosque was a continuation of the 911 attacks.

This past weekend, the President called for "service": volunteeerism  on September 11th. That is inappropriate and sacrilegious. September 11th is a national day of mourning. Not service, but remembrance for those who died in a surprise military strike against the United States of America conducted by the military wing of the global jihad, resulting in the largest loss of life in American history.

Is Pearl Harbor a day of service? D Day? September 11 is not about service; it is about honoring our war dead. This is deeply offensive. This is part of the relentless campaign to whitewash 911 and distract from the terrible reality of the day that forever changed this country.

September 11th is a day of mourning. It's a day of remembrance and honoring our fallen. Service? How dare he. Service sounds like penance. For what? Why? We were attacked. It was mass murder to overthrow the American government and destroy our beloved freedoms. 911 should have ben declared a national day of remembrance. It should have been a national day of mourning. 

December 7th is not a day of service. This is a tactic to whitewash what happened and turn it into some kumbaya circus.

Service is a fine thing. Any other day.

The firefighters and police officers and innocent Americans were heroes, great Americans.  We must pay them and their brothers tribute. Honor them on September 11th at West Broadway and Park Place at our 911 Freedom Rally. Stand for freedom and against the deception and lies being used to subdue us. Join us, Robert Spencer and me, on September 11th at West Broadway and Park Place and protest this cultural obscenity at our 911 Freedom Rally. Remember last year?

Speakers include U. S. Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton (video message); German MP René Stadtkewitz, leader of Germany’s Freedom Party; Dr. Arieh Eldad, former candidate for Prime Minister of Israel, Member of the Knesset; Sudanese ex-slave and freedom fighter Simon Deng; the courageous ex-Muslim human rights activist Wafa Sultan; war hero and North Carolina Congressional candidate Ilario Pantano; popular radio host Joyce Kaufman; Darla Dawald, National Director of the Patriot Action Network; James Lafferty of the Virginia Anti-Sharia Taskforce (VAST); Coptic Christian activist Joseph Nassralla; Iraqi ex-Muslim Michael Paul; and others.

Members of the clergy (banned from the official ceremonies) will be there for our invocation. And first responders, who were not invited to to the official ceremonies, will speak and are welcomed at our Freedom rally of remembrance.

“Service Day” is NOT a MEMORIAL DAY!
“Service Day” is nothing more than an attempt to DILUTE WHAT 9/11 WAS & IS to the American People.
For example:
WHAT does a community clean-up of oh,say,garbage on vacant lots, have to do with HONORING OUR WAR DEAD , KNOWING WHY THEY’RE DEAD,and REMEMBERING WHICH ENEMY ATTACKED OUR COUNTRY,SLAUGHTERING THEM?
HOW an American President can do anything other than declaring 9/11 an ANNUAL DAY OF MOURNING is FURTHER PROOF that Obama is THE POST-AMERICAN PRESIDENT.

The jihadist affront on September 11, 2001 and how they scheamed beforehand to commit that atrocity may be seen in the Word of God .For Proverbs 94:21 reads “They gather togather against the life of the righteous and condemn the innocent blood” Nevertheless, the passengers on Untied 93 withstood the jihadists as one. Thus the enemy did not reach their target. To this the Bible reads “Thought one may be overpowered by another, Two can withstand them. And a threefold cord is not quickly brocken.” Ecclesiastes 4:2. As for the Muslims who rejoyced at the news on September 11, and liked those jihadist who did that terrible thing. To this the Bible also teaches “He who justifies the wicked and condemns the just, both of them alike are an abomination to the Lord.” Proverbs 17:15. In conclusion the mind set and the end of the jihadists that day, as well as other Militant Muslims is best described in Ecclesiastes 9:3 “the hearts of the sons of men are full of evil; madness is in their heards while they live, and after that they go to the dead. The al Qaeda operatives who did those heinous acts on September 11, 2001 had the delusion that they would end in a paradise with 72 virgins. This falsehood of a belief is just one of the “cleverly invented stories ” of men [Second Peter 1:16,] that is taught in the Quran, which in itself is a book of fasehood. Instead of the virgins they found out that the imams lied to them and those jihadist of that day are now suffering in hell.

BULLCRAP- those Saudi guys lived in USA for SEVEN YEARS and made friends with, ate with, went to clubs with AMERICANS- what hideous revisionism!!! willful blindness to the narrative they have created. Myth invented to substitute for truth and reality.
That first repsonders, the people who risked and lost the most, will not be invited to the charade they call memorial service is just shocking and disgusting, totally disprespectful, a slap in the face to all those who still mourn the loss of their best friends and colleagues, Those who inhaled the dust made of DEAD BODIES!! and still carry the scars of loss and grief.
Instead we will be sold more lies, see Obama campaingn with disingenuous platitudes and shill his stupid unworkable ideas, using 9-11 a a photo op.
We will not get to hear that the WAR on US was a crime justified by ISLAM , celebrated by it’s adherents who still make war on us. Islam will not be allowed to be criticized or blamed so of course these same apologists must ban ALL religions (it’s only fair eh?)

Never, never forget, and make sure your children know the truth (despite how it’s being whitewashed in the schools) and every time you hear someone “revise” the truth about 9/11 put them straight immediately. Don’t let them get away with minimizing or apologizing for what muslims did on 9/11.

ROME, AUG. 29, 2011 (Zenit.org).- The president of the Italian Episcopal Conference says that the question of morals in legislation is “grave and urgent.”
Cardinal Angelo Bagnasco of Genoa said this today during a Mass at the Shrine of the Madonna della Guardia, on celebrating the anniversary of the first apparition in 1490.
“The moral issue in politics, as in all other realms of public and private life, is grave and urgent, and does not refer only to persons but also to structures and legislation,” he said.
“There is need of a great cultural and social conversion,” the cardinal stated, “and those who have particular responsibilities in public life, in any way and at any level, but also those who have economic powers and interests, have an imperative need — more than others — knowing that, through their actions, they propose cultural models that are destined to become dominant.”
Cardinal Bagnasco acknowledged that many politicians and officials are generously committed and upright.
Nevertheless, he pointed to the issues not only in politics but also in culture and education.
“In the first place, it is not about doing something differently, but of thinking differently, in a more true and noble way, if the air is to be purified and our young people are not to be poisoned in spirit,” he stressed. “Although the task is arduous, because it entails affecting old practices and interests … it is possible because people are asking for it and because it is right.”
“Whoever has public responsibilities today and tomorrow has this primary duty and honor: To make careful and courageous decisions so that ‘the culture of the easy’ and egoistic life gives way to the ‘culture of seriousness,'” the cardinal declared.
He said the whole of society needs to become a place “where values are breathed.”
Cardinal Bagnasco proposed as the sign of hope the 2 million young participants in World Youth Day: Young people who do not yield to anger, but who find hope in Christ; young people who “do not want to be deceived, who know that life is not about enjoyment, but that the way of fulfillment and joy is that of duty, of sacrifice and of a stable and fruitful family.”

I applaud both Pamela, Robert and the previous commentor (Choi). Thanks for saying what I think almost everyday, about the murder by Islamists of so many of our citizens. Two things that I will never forget on 9/11 are the appearance on TV of the old muslim woman in Gaza (I believe) raising her filthy skirt hem and dancing in the street, in celebration of the muslim victory over the US: and the second thing is the camera paning on the street of a Brooklyn mosque where young male students, dancing boys,etc., were cheering. What a monstrous day for us on 9/11, but all the people who were cheering somehow are now in the ascendancy of our once great country. Thank you
