Armor-piercing bullets … what was this pious Muslim planning?
Washington state: Man shot during traffic stop had armor-piercing bullets, Qur'an, books on converting to Islam (thanks to Robert)It sounds as if Brooks Papineau was on the brink of misunderstanding Islam. Was he by any chance acquainted with Khalid Abdul-Latif and Walli Mujahidh?

KEY PENINSULA, Wash. — A man who was fatally shot by Tacoma police during a traffic stop early Wednesday morning pointed a gun loaded with armor-piercing bullets at the officer who stopped him and was carrying a large amount of ammunition in his truck, the Tacoma Police Department said.
Wednesday afternoon, the Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as Brooks Papineau of Gig Harbor. He died of a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
"The driver exited his vehicle armed with a gun, and the officer opened fire, striking the subject," said Mark Fulghum of the Tacoma Police Department.
When police searched Papineau's truck, they found a large amount of ammunition and additional ammunition magazines.They also said they found a Koran and several books on converting to Islam….

Probably the surplus 5.56mm Green Tip that’s available nearly everywhere these days … it’ll penetrate some armor but not much. Nothing to moisten one’s knickers about.

My thought exactly. Let’s see—moving semi truck filled with diesel fuel striking a moving train. Sounds like a suicide run to me. In some ways, a bit more difficult then flying an airplane into a stationary building.

If this guy had handgun caliber armor piercing rounds, where did he get them? They have been outlawed for civilian sale since the mid 1980s The story is not clear. But any high powered rifle round can be considered “armor piercing” and the anti Second Amendment types try to exploit that. Some of the Islamist leaders have stated that they were actively trying to recruit people who could not readily noticed or profiled as possible terrorists.

I wish the one lesson people could’ve learned from WW2 in dealing with fascists is that we shouldn’t wait until they kill millions of us before going after them. Rather they should be quickly identified and rooted out before they cause too much damage. Unfortunately though I see history repeating itself and the muslims have been gaming this system well and have flew under our radar for a long time.
This really is the responsibility of the government, they have multi-billion dollar “intelligence” budgets not only to identify threats and make coherent theories about them, they have the power to defeat them. Why is that ordinary folk like us are fully aware that Islam is this century’s Nazism, yet these people in our highest offices are still acting like a bunch of bumbling Keystone Cops?
While I realize that the Obama administration is very pro-Islamic, there are other branches of government which are more neutral and if properly informed would recognize the anti-American agenda in the present administration and would deal with it head-on, as they did with Communist infiltration.
Terrorism, honor-killing, sex-slavery of non-muslim girls, sharia law being rammed down our throats while we’re being called racist/bigots/islamophobes, schools/swimming pools/public places being forced to accept Islamic norms, etc…we’re constantly told what great contributions muslims make to our society.
I have yet to see any compelling evidence of this, all I see is muslims destroying everything I’ve liked about our culture and took for granted. The rare individual muslims who are doing some good do not count-it is the vast majority who have the greatest impact on society and they are like a termite infestation eating away at the foundations of our home.
