“Ramadan Watch”: Defeat Islamic Supremacist David Ramadan in Virginia

Islamic supremacist and Muslim Brotherhood candidates must be defeated. Congressman Hakim Muhammad (nee Keith Ellison) gives us a glimpse of a gruesome future with jihadist politicians.

James Lafferty, VAST chairman and AFDI/ board member, is leading the fight against such a candidate in Virginia. Last night was the opening round in another Muslim Brotherhood power grab. Here is Lafferty's latest report — if any Atlas readers are in Lafferty's nabe, join the fight, he needs volunteers — jameslafferty@usa.net:

Quick note: Tech giants are shutting us down. You know this. Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Adsense, Pinterest permanently banned us. Facebook, Google search et al have shadow-banned, suspended and deleted us from your news feeds. They are disappearing us. But we are here. We will not waver. We will not tire. We will not falter, and we will not fail. Freedom will prevail.

Just wanted to update on last night in Loudon County. It was candidate night at the Loudon County Republican Central Committee.

“Conservative”, pro-Ground Zero Megamosque House candidate David Ramadan showed up with his entourage. He had a guy with a camera snapping pictures and bumping into some of our people until the police told him to stop it.

Ramadan is an associate of Suhauil Kahn and Grover Norquist.

Grover was at an invitation only announcement at a Leesburg restaurant but he didn’t come to the central committee meeting.

Ramadan made a long and rambling announcement speech in which he accused critics of the Ground Zero mosque of being anti-Constitutional. Allow me to give you the main points — he is proud of America and he likes the Constitution a lot. He did a huge amount of name-dropping about all the big name Republicans (McCain, McDonnell, Keith Fimian, George Allen, Frank Wolf) he knows but he made a big mistake – he mentioned Grover Norquist and loud boos filled the standing room only crowded hearing room.

Then there was Mistake No. 2 – one of his supporters stood up and apologized for the rude behavior of the crowd towards the Norquist mention. She got the same treatment – boos and cries of “Big Tent Republican” and “Casino Jack” (a reference to a Norquist pal Jack Abramoff).

Each of an endless list of candidates got to speak but we waited until the announcements portion when the public is permitted to address the Republican cheeses.

I waved a flyer passed out by Ramadan’s campaign and pointed out that no one had said anything about religion. But I read from an article in the Huffington Post which quoted Ramadan’s criticism of former Speaker Newt Gingrich and former Alaska Mayor Sarah Palin’s opposition to the radical mosque at Ground Zero.

"People like myself… who are hardcore Republicans and have been activists for years, with undoubted credentials on the Republican side, are really outraged by what is going on," said David Ramadan, a prominent Muslim-American conservative operative and a member of the Virginia delegation to the Republican National Convention. "We believe first and foremost in the Constitution. This is not a matter of this mosque or that mosque. This is not a New York mosque issue. It is a Constitutional issue…. This is absolutely unacceptable."

I pointed out that people died at Ground Zero for no other reason than they were Americans.

“One woman here tonight lost her daughter in the 9/11 attack. The families of people who died on 9/11 need no condescending lectures from Mr. Ramadan on the Constitution. His talk pales when compared to their sacrifice.”

Strong applause from the crowd…

There is no doubt in my mind that Ramadan is the latest in a long line of Islamist “candidates” like Esam Omeish. We need to defeat him. We need to work hard to defeat him and we need to unmask all of the politicians who regularly cash checks from him Let there be no doubt – Ramadan does one thing for the Republican party — he writes checks.

We will be publishing the list of politicians and begin a phone campaign to each of them to get them to give the money back. I also need volunteers to work on “Ramadan Watch” (No, it’s not a new group to monitor how all of those moderate Muslims spend the holiday) which will monitor money coming into Ramadan’s campaign and radical Islam’s activities in his campaign. I need three people who are willing to work a couple of hours per week on this.

Finally, I generally try and steer clear of complaining about other anti-jihad groups. There are way too few of us and way too many of the bad guys. The head of the Loudon County chapter of Act for America decided not to attend the event at the Loudon County Government Center because he had a previously scheduled meeting and wanted to get committee reports. He also told someone he is not “into demonstrations.”

Catherine Martin, the Northern Virginia chairman, was there along with other good people from Act. But the chairman of the local chapter was too busy planning the next chili cook-off to even make an appearance. I hope war never breaks out on a night when the Loudon ACT chairman has a committee meeting. Some would rather talk about the fight while leaving others to come into their community to do the fighting. Very disappointing…
