Clear Channel Supports Jihad and Islamic Jew-Hatred

Consider this. The anti-Israel billboards have run in San Francisco, Seattle, and other cities nationwide. We have been unable to get our humanitarian and historically accurate ad up anywhere. NYCTA is sitting on it, San Francisco (the mecca of free speech) and Seattle all cowards.

AFDI Denounces Clear Channel for Running Hate-Israel Billboards But Rejecting AFDI's Pro-Israel Ads Reuters

NEW YORK, April 28, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — A prominent national human rights and advocacy organization has vowed to fight against the advertising group Clear Channel's inconsistent rejection of its pro-Israel advertisements in Seattle after accepting ads from an anti-Israel hate group.

The antisemitic group, Seattle Mideast Awareness Campaign, is running ads that read, "Equal Rights for Palestinians: Stop funding the Israeli military." Seattle Metro had initially rejected these ads, but then reversed itself and accepted the ads. American Freedom Defense Initiative (AFDI) Executive Director Pamela Geller then submitted ads to Clear Channel in Seattle depicting Muslim/Nazi collaboration during World War II, with the caption, "In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man." Another depicted various atrocities of the jihad terrorist group Hamas, with the caption, "One billion dollars to Hamas – your tax dollars at work."

However, after AFDI submitted its pro-Israel human rights ad to Clear Channel, the president of Clear Channel informed Geller that AFDI's ad had been "rejected due to community standards."

Dave Duffy, Senior Account Executive for Clear Channel Outdoor – Seattle, justified Clear Channel's decision in an email to Geller: "The issue with the design was both the tone in the ad, along with the photos. The political ad currently on the street is not an incitement to violence against the Jewish people, and any ad depicting violence towards any group or individual would rightly be rejected. For that same reason, copy that describes another group or individual negatively, or shows any imagery that is violent, either explicit or implied would be rejected."

Geller, however, pointed out in a statement that the Seattle Mideast Awareness Campaign's ads "clearly constitute an incitement to violence against Jews. How is cutting military aid to Israel not an incitement to violence against them? With no aid and no military, Israel cannot defend itself, and is vulnerable to attack by its Muslim neighbors. It is also an incitement in the sense that the ad is a direct attempt to break a bond of friendship between the Israel and the United States, and that also renders Israel to attack."

By contrast, AFDI's ads did not constitute any incitement to violence against any group, but merely collected photos of actual events. Geller added: "They cannot pick their hate and they cannot pick their politics. Clear Channel, in an act of abject submission, accepted and ran the anti-Israel ads that Seattle Metro had previously rejected for Seattle buses. But instead of standing up for the free speech standards of excellence that they pretended to adhere to when they accepted the Jew-hatred ads, they refused our human rights ad that advocated standing up for civilized men."

"Every Jewish business," Geller said, "or any business that believes in life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness should pull their business from Clear Channel. They are advancing jihad."

CC is not advancing jihad. They are engaging in free market capitalism. It has nothing to do with a particular religion but how the ads will impact their bottom line. They obviously felt that these ads would hurt their profits so they rejected them God Bless capitalism

The Muslims won’t be able to destroy the Jews, or for that matter the State of Israel. Likewise, The agenda of Hezbollah, Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad will fail. For they are fated to lose, because even though they may not know it they are striving against the Will of God. For it is written in the the Bible, a Book that Muslims claim to respect, “Then the Lord spoke to Moses that very same day, saying view the land of Canaan, which I give to the children of Isreal as a possession…” Deuteronomy 32:48,49. Furthermore, Psalm 105: 8-11. reads ” He has remembered His covenant forever. the word which He commanded, for a thousand generations. The convenant which He made with Abraham, and His oath to Isaac. and confirmed it to Jacob for a ststute. To Israel for as everlasting conenant, Saying ‘To you I will give the land of Canaan. In all fairness there is one way for the Jihadists to convince to God turn His back on the nation of Israel and thus have the country be no more. That way is to change the laws of astrophysics, including that of the sun, moon and the stars. For God has said in Jeremiah 31:35,36. “Thus saith the Lord,which givth the sun for a light by day and the ordinances of the moon and stars for a light by night… The Lord of host is His name. If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the Lord, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me forever.” [KJV]

I am not surprised at the CChannel’s attitude–it seems to prevail today : Islam; Muslims get that sympathy -after all the whole world’s so hard on them isn’t it ? Media, advertising, sources of influence to the public , whether they be voices or articles etc. all think of Muslims as victims. It’s like an epidemic, and nonsense too.
Pam, your adds are not “too much ” or unfair as far as I am concerned, but I think some may take issue with the word “savage”. It doesn’t take much to get a lot of the harebrained supervisors of one kind or the other to start worrying about “hurting” Muslims.
I am disgusted with Seattle ; why they ever approved those first adds (“Israel War Crimes” etc) , whatever their “guidelines were, they seem to have double standards. One of the things that won their favor I think, was being reminded how Israel dropped a bomb on a some school yard, hurting and killing children on that very day a year ago . Doesn’t Israel live in constant fear of some Muslim attack ? Anyway, if “Mideast Awareness ” wants to stir up bad feelings , Israel has a right to DEFEND itself .
So they thought your adds were beneath their “community standards huh ? They didn’t like the “tone” of the add –what is it-maybe it sounds angry ?? What do they EXPECT ?
The billboard thing is a total turn-off to me and it offends, I think, many others besides the Jewish. How can anyone NOT think that San Francisco and Seattle are biased ?
The Islamics have been preachers of hate for years and they even blamed the Jewish for the 9/11 attack. Some don’t realize that , but I read about it- their propaganda machine has been running smoothly even before the holocaust . Their hatred of America is the hatred of the Jews, because they know we are allied together. Btw– we must never stop military aid to Israel—the wolves are just waiting to close in..

God Bless capitolism indeed. So let’s take it to it’s obvious conclusion. In my opinion, the ally of my enemy is my enemy. Therefore, I refuse to fund or support any advertiser that supports Clear Channel with their advertising dollars. And just so that they get the message, I will contact and politely advise each and every one of Clear Channel’s advertising customers of my decision to refuse to support them. I encourage all Americans of like mind to follow suit.
In other words, if Clear Channel refuses to see the light, they will at least feel the heat from it.
