911 Families Publicly Denounce Rauf and Daisy Khan’s Cordoba Event Exploiting 911 Tragedies for Personal Gain

The 911 Family members have issued this press release on Daisy and Rauf's jihad.

9/11 Family Members Question Cordoba Initiative Event

WHAT:  9/11 Family members to attend " Performing Tribute" play sponsored by Cordoba Initiative and ASMA.

WHERE:  Cordoba Initiative / American Society for Muslim Advancement (ASMA) and Interchurch Center, 475 Riverside Drive, NYC, (Claremont Ave. entrance)

WHEN:      Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 6:00PM

WHY :        Members of "9/11 Parents and Families of Firefighters and WTC Victims" and " Advocates for a 9/11 Fallen Heroes Memorial" are shocked and appalled  that a play, Performing Tribute which is closely identified and aligned with the "September 11th Families' Association Tribute WTC Visitor Center"  is now being promoted and presented by Daisy Kahn. The play will be performed at an Interfaith Center located at the address of the  Cordoba Initiative & ASMA offices, 475 Riverside Drive, NYC, on Wednesday, March 2nd, at 6:30PM.

Ms. Kahn and The Cordoba Initiative are the driving force behind the renamed  "Park 51" cultural center and mosque project which has been the focus of great consternation and grief for many 9/11 family members. Uniformed and civilian family members have asked Cordoba for tolerance, understanding and sensitivity to the feelings of the majority of families who are deeply offended by the thought of a mosque and cultural center at this site. FDNY, NYPD and civilian family members have joined thousands of others to demonstrate against building this structure so close to the sacred ground of the WTC site.

Our family members will not allow the memory of the lives and deaths of their loved ones to be used as a tool for the Cordoba Initiative.  To use this play to imply  a "dialogue with 9/11 families" as a basis for obtaining funding from the LMDC and other sources across the country for an Islamic center at GZ, is a disingenuous travesty.

The vast majority of 9/11 family members oppose this building. We will continue to speak out to oppose the co opting of the narrative of 9/11 by self serving individuals and groups.  We will not allow the story of 9/11 and the lives and deaths of our loved ones to be hijacked for the shameless self promotion of those individuals and groups whose  goal is to build an Islamic center and mosque near the sacred ground.

The memory of our loved ones, who lived and died for this country on 9/11, deserves nothing less.

*Family members will attend this play and will be available to discuss their viewpoints before and after the performance .

Daisy the Kahn and Imam Rauf exposed. Yet again.

A little over a week ago, I published a breathtakingly cold-blooded and vicious advertisement for a taxpayer funded "event" benefiting the Ground Zero mosque Islamic supremacists by using and exploiting the tragedies of 911 family victims to advance the mosquestrosity. This has become their field of expertise, their modus operandi, has it not?

It takes a special kind of evil to think of such dehumanizing tactics to further such a malevolent goal, and a special kind of stupid for the city to allow itself to manipulated in such a way using our taxpayer dollars. And shame on the Manhattan Community Art Fund, NYC Dept of Cultural Affairs, administered by the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, for being so ill-used, using our taxpayer dollars to fund this offensive and grotesque propaganda.

Daisy the Khan and Imam Rauf know how the majority of the 911 families feel about the Ground Zero mosque. And they do this. The 911 families have issued a statement concerning this demoralization.

I can’t forget that day, the day I almost lost my husband.
Had that happened, my little boy would not be here, he’s now
8 years old. I am reminded that 9/11 could have killed my
husband, and I am reminded that I am one of the lucky wives.
Because I was blessed, because WE go on, it’s our duty, our
role as survivors not to forget!! Right? Ten years is barely
enough time to get over the horror of 9/11 let alone warm up
enough to the plans Muslims desire which is to build a mosque
down there in the building hit by one planes landing gear.
The voice inside me, that reminds me that I lived that day in absolute
dread and fear, the one inside me that supported my husband when
he was finally home on Thursday with full blown Pneumonia, but alive.
The voice that reminds me about the weeks and months he returned to
ground zero to dig side by side his comrades digging for remains.
The voice that reminds me not to forget what my four children suffered
when they got off the bus to find daddy was not home but in the pits of
hell, the voice that reminds me how we slept huddled in my sister in laws
livingroom waiting for any sign that my husband was alive. That voice
that reminds me of the tears, fears, what if’s little children were
talking about, particularly my little children. The voice inside me
that told me how I could barely bring myself to my girlfriends husbands
wake and funeral, a firefighter who lost his life that day, how she told
me that she called her sister to stay with her and the children, her sister
had to sleep with her because she was so desperately missing her spouse.
One day he goes to work, and the next day, he’s gone. How many wives went
to bed alone that day? How many people went to bed alone that day, empty,
destroyed, broken apart? My voice tells me that I had better never let
sweet talking liars fake me out! My voice reminds me that 9/11 is a wound
that our country has not dealt with properly because of political correctness.
My voice tells me that while I was blessed to get away with our family
together, so many others live life broken and still suffering, and that
they must be protected. They must be considered and the fight for justice,
the fight for truth, the fight for honor and decency has not been fought.
Daisy has not accepted that she cannot force a mega mosque down there, it’s
the way it is. She has no compassion, her cause does not take precedence
over the memory of 9/11, not now, and as for me, not ever~!

i apologize that it took so long to get this – but, is there anyway possible that “performing tribute” is a backhanded, up-our-arse, slime job that goes all the way back to the fact that the 13 colonies paid tribute to the GDMF barbary Fn pirates?

Also, this appears to be a piece just about 9/11 – it says nothing about trying to further any political agenda other than promoting conversation, which perhaps this blog is against? I didn’t realize tolerance was considered negative these days.

Daisy and Imam Rauf need a stage to do their act on!!!
Imam Rauf is a supposed religious man, an Armani wearing,
sports car driving, wealthy Imam. Oh, and whom has been found
neglecting apartments he owns and also found to have taken
about 2 million dollars *I think it was* and did not make
the necessary repairs for his tenants with that money. So he
left his tenants in squalor, and meanwhile he wants to
build a bridge so that Americans can “get over” the pain of 9/11.
This guy isn’t a spokes person for me. I don’t identify with
a person that has sketchy associations and cold hearted comments
about how we should be careful not to upset the sensibilities
of Islamic people in the Arab world by fighting against the
mosque or whatever, it’s not a direct quote.
He worries about what Muslim people might
think, Oceans away, and yet refuses to back off of the plan to
build a mega mosque in a building so close to GZ that one of the
planes landing gear was catapulted into it.
I don’t want to hear you or anyone else for that matter express
how we should be understanding and tolerant. You are being stupid
and naive, simply trusting, when you need to smarten up!
This so called “play” might include a few who are simple and trusting
like you, but from where I sit, that attitude is dangerous! and
lacking in critical judgment and analysis besides!
By the way, when I look in the mirror every morning,
I see someone who has lived a life in
the past 10 years that should not have been. I should not have had
to deal with this Islamic push in America, and I should not have to
worry about what the future will be like if Sharia Law comes to this
country..which it will not…not if I have a say in it. 9/11 should
not have happened!
There are more Americans who think the way I do, than the way you do.
For good reason. I think by and large Americans were too accepting of
this stupid, ignorant, “tolerate”, “PC” bullshit, and they made the
biggest error in judgment by voting for Obama,(that’s if they even did)
We are going to find out who the mischievous troublemakers are, G-d
willing and we are going to prove that these so called “peaceful people”
are not really in it for peace.
As we have already seen by the actions of the Cordoba planners,
who are desperate, desperate people, trying every
scheming plan to “play” with America’s emotions. What we need really
is a big fly swatter to take care of the pesty insects, once and for all!

Back in September 2001, 3,000 innocent people were murdered, yes murdered, in cold blood by Muslims, and the Muslim world celebrated that atrocity. But don’t think the people who were murdered on that day were the only ones to die. Far from it. Since that awful day, a further 2,000 have died of diseases as a direct result of what happened on that day. A further 58,000 are seriously ill and many of those will die of those diseases in the coming years. Eventually, we could be looking at a final death toll of more than 50,000. Thats something to ponder. That is what we get back in return for giving aid to Muslims. Since that atrocity there have been at least a further 17,000 atrocities carried out in the name of Islam, and the real figure is bound to be far higher, because you can bet that for every one we hear and read about, there will be at least another three or four that go unreported. It cannot be denied that Islam is the most brutal, primitive, oppressive, bloodthirsty, depraved, inhuman and misogynistic cult that has ever existed throughout the history of mankind. No other cult so evil and wicked has ever been known. If Satan invented a cult, it couldn’t possibly be worse than Islam. It should never be pandered to. It should be opposed. It should be exposed and opened to criticism. Those who are offended by criticism of Islam should go to hell, because they are defending evil. And defending evil is an evil in itself.

A man who allows another man to rape his wife is not tolerant, he is a coward. Raising the son of his enemy is a fitting punishment.

Madeleine,
I’m with you sister, but it’s not so simple. What we are seeing is not the result of an obsession with “tolerance”, but the cause.
Some people think that if we just show our enemies how good we really are, they will stop attacking us, starting with pretending they are not our true enemies. This of course ignores the obvious reality that trying be be nice to terrorists just makes them want to kill us more. Call it the Oslo Syndrome or what ever, but understand that it is pathological.
Besides being demonstrably false the other problem is we don’t agree how we represent ourselves to Islam. This is where PC comes in. It does not come from Islam, but from the Marcusian school of Marxism. It is just a device to keep people separated by spreading fear of their own society. This is why on 911 some Americans were more concerned with hillbillies coming down the mountain with guns, or the police rounding up Arabs, than they were afraid of the real killers.
So, this why people like SL would rather believe that the people on our side our causing the problem than see the obvious. The mosque symbolizes domination. Ever word that comes out of Daisy’s mouth and the new-age imagery are also about domination. They want to control the narrative of 911 moving forward. They want future generations to be taught that 911 is inevitable because of the horrible way the US and Israel treat muslims. And then came the muslims to heal the Americans with their superior faith and teachings of Islam.
Sorry. I know I didn’t explain that very well.

I get what you are saying, and of course
the truth is that both Islam and the Progressive
left are, for lack of a better word, on the same
team. The left are useful dhimmies. Think of it
as a relay race. The left is in lane one, starting
the race. When the gun goes off, they take the lead
with all their progressive liberal force out up in front,
then the baton is passed onto a weaker teammate, but one who
basically follows the same ideals, just keeping the pace,
the baton is then hand over to a slightly
stronger teammate, this teammate tries to keep the lead
as well, fighting for first or second place if they can,
it’s a struggle, the opponents are powerful and strong
with a lot of endurance. In the final leg of the race,
the baton to the ancher, the cocky, Muslim dhimmi, who wants to impress
and take all the glory, this useful tool, this ego maniac
is only focused on the pursuit of his/her own race, and forget
about the team, forget about the opponents, it’s all about
the finish, and the glory. See what they don’t get, what this relay
team doesn’t understand is that when the race is over, the
Muslims walk away with the trophy, not the relay team.
All their effort, all their smug egos, USED, completely USED!
Oh the irony of it all.
One other thing, the sun shines on the good and bad alike, don’t forget that.
Be mindful of what a beautiful sunny day 9/11 was, be mindful
that it’s our human nature to discern, and we all know that evil
preempted that beautiful G-d given day. Evil was present when the
sun was shinning like a golden trophy given to all man kind on that day.
There was not a cloud in the sky, but then the clouds came.
The clouds of human ash, debris, smoke, toxic dust, filled the air.
The images and feelings from 9/11 are inscribed forever in my being.
