“Seven Who Made A Difference In 2010”

21

Another leftwing Jewish newspaper doing the Jewicidal jig. What an embarrassment these sad rags are to proud Jews. The Jewish Week names Seven Who Made A Difference in 2010: "For better or worse, the newsmakers of the year," and yes, Atlas is there, in some pretty awful company like Peter Beinart and Elena Kagan — though they are well-liked, of course.

Seven Who Made A Difference In 2010 The Jewish Week

Another woman pioneer was Elena Kagan, 50, who joined the Supreme Court this summer, bringing the number of Jews on the current bench to three (Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Stephen Breyer) and adding a liberal voice to a right-of-center court.

Story continues below advertisement

Kagan displayed her independence and interest in Judaism as a youngster, requesting the opportunity to become the first formal bat mitzvah at Lincoln Square Synagogue in 1973. Shlomo Riskin, founding rabbi of the Modern Orthodox congregation, recalled that young Kagan “felt very strongly that there should be ritual bat mitzvah in the synagogue,” and paved the way for many others.

Praised by colleagues as having strong personal skills as well as a keen legal mind, Kagan is seen as a potential consensus-builder on the court.

Pamela Geller, by contrast, has been described as one of the most “outraged and outrageous” personalities influencing public policy in the U.S.

Her website, Atlas Shrugs, portrayed Kagan in a Nazi helmet; she has written a book about the dangers of Obama’s presidency, and has called for removing the Dome of the Rock from the Temple Mount in the Old City of Jerusalem.

Actually, the photoshop was Kagan as Colonel Klink. Appropriate seeing as how Elena Kagan's senior thesis at Princeton University, recounting the history of socialist politics in New York City, cited the theories of an influential German Marxist who notoriously switched allegiances to Nazism after Adolf Hitler attained power.

But Geller 52, a Jewish day school momis best known as one of the strongest public critics of Islam, asserting that it is prone to violence and hate, and for galvanizing opposition to Park51, the planned site of an Islamic center and mosque near Ground Zero.

Geller is credited, or blamed, for making the center a national and international issue this year. She was hailed by supporters as prophetic for warning of the dangers of Islam, and attacked by critics as strident and abusive in seeing no distinction between the Muslim religion and its most militant adherents.

Before walking out in anger during a Jewish Week interview this summer, she asserted: “There’s no gray area with me.”

At a moment of particularly strong polarization, in Washington and in the American Jewish community, there was little gray area in most political and religious disputes this year. Time will tell if there will be “climate change” in those discussions in 2011, but it seems certain the seven Jewish men and women cited here will play key roles in the debate.

I agree k9gs. I don’t understand that one either. I also don’t quite understand why the liberals/Marxists side with the Muslims, when the Muslims would kill them too if they had the chance. Are they paid off for siding with them or is it out of fear?

“There’s no gray area with me”….
Someone once described gray as the devils favorite color. I’m glad that you stand up for what you believe in.
I wish there were more like you in the media today.

I’m very happy that you are becoming so influential, Pamela and thank you for getting the correct information out to the public through your excellent blog and articles for other websites. I sincerely hope that you have made enough of “a difference” to actually get O-bomba voted out of office in 2012. It’s rather sad that the Liberal Left MSM, Democorrupts, etc. are like a bunch of sheep who do not know the difference between “good” and “evil”. Stay strong and keep up your good work.

Elena Kagan having a “keen legal mind”?? Elena Kagan banned ROTC at Harvard Law School because of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell and she claimed it was military policy!! DADT was federal law, passed by Congress and signed into law by Bill Clinton!!
Keen legal mind, my hairy white tush!! A drunk first year law student has a more keen legal mind than Elena Kagan and the fact that the US Senate confirmed her as a Supreme Court Justice shows me how very corrupt the US Senate is.

If marxists could learn … thieve that Ronald Reagan said something brilliant to that effect years ago and leftists keep on proving the same point. The issue isn’t marx — it is power and control over the dummies who think it is about marx. The bosses don’t believe. they just need enough dummies to think they do.

Small thing: It wasn’t Kagan as Colonel Klink — it was Kagan as Sergeant Schultz. Hilarious too.

I agree mkultura, it was Schultz not Klink: it was a joke about Kagan’s doublechinedness, as much as anything. And hey, nothing conveys the horror of the Third Reich like SGT Schultz! What douches these libtards be
This all reminds me of a story about my little sister (a huge Hogan’s Heroes fan) when she was doing Europe by train thirty years ago. She was riding next to an elderly German woman and for some reason muttered Schultz’s tagline “I see nothing, nothing” And the elderly woman started and asked, “Why did you say that?” And my sister whose name is Lisa began to explain about the show Hogan’s Heroes and the woman interrupted, “Yes I know about that show; my brother, Werner played Colonel Klink”
What a hoot: My kid sister channels Sergeant Schultz on a train in Germany and ends up meeting Klink’s sister! (Lotte Klemperer) And here’s the real kicker; The Klemperers were Jewish!! Not only that, they basically disowned Werner for taking a role that they believed made light of the horrors of the Third Reich.
That’s a true story Pam

When they first came over to the US it was the liberals who were tolerant and the Conservatives who were bigots, when this changed many people from a lot of ethnic groups didn’t discover this until recently.

In Russia all the 1917 revolution did was replace the old Nobles with a group of new Nobles who were more corrupt and incompetent then the old ones. Putin is in the process of rebuilding the new Nobles control of Russia and may well decide to make his family the new Royal family.

As long as the government is constrained by the Constitution we can accept a corrupt Senate and House, the amount of damage they can do is limited. Once they move beyond the Constitutional limits (as they did in the 1930s) they become more and more dangerous, the voters are waking up to this fact and hopefully haven’t waited too long to start taking back our government.

Who and how were the Conservatives bigots to Jews? The left has always been the racists, KKK members etc. I just don’t understand how the Jews that have such a history be leftist, it ain’t rocket science. I have always thought Jews were intelligent people, why on earth side w/the progressives, especially since they support islam? I find it truly baffling. Makes no sense to me. I wish they would stop it…wake up and smell the coffee.

Those who lost their lives so cruelly years ago would be utterly ashamed of these people who call themselves Jews at the jewish week. They are a disgrace.
