The Left’s alliance with fascists in the late 1930s did the same for them. In fact, there is a famous photo of “anti-war” protesters in front of the White House on June 21, 1941 (the day before Hitler attacked Russia) and the following day the same people were holding up signs on June 22, 1941 calling for U.S. entry into the war.-LOL Ideology (Nazism, Islam etc.) sodomizes the mind.
Stalin thought he could use Hitler in 1939, but ended up getting used, and Russia was nearly devoured in 1942. The Left in America thinks the same thing today re Islam. They do not realize that the Islam will devour them if given the opportunity to do that.
There is no “moderate” Islam. There are Muslims who (similar to Germans in Nazi Germany) think Islam is a crock, or who are just “culture-Muslims.” However, there are real Muslims out there, just as there are real Nazis, and the la-la land Left is blinded by Left ideology and its distortion of real history and reality, just as the Left’s “anti-war” protesters were on June 21, 1941.

Eventually people such as Pamela and Spencer will prevail.
What will happen will follow a pattern similar to what happened with William Lloyd Garrison and the Abolitionists. They were accused of incitement, causing trouble with their political speech, feared as agitators-and often in grave danger of being killed by people who said their political speech (the truth) was “offensive.”
But all of a sudden Garrison etc. were almost ignored (about 1857). The issue they had been raising went mainstream. It became a big political issue.
The same thing will happen with Islam’s dogmas. People will become very aware of them (e.g. the doctrine of abrogation, the Jew-hating suras etc.) and these doctrines of real Islam will become a big political issue in political campaigns and in the press-including among the “tolerance” folks.
That’s already starting to happen. Unbelievers are “getting it” re Islam. In a few years, politicians (who always sniff the wind) will be saying that Islam’s doctrine of abrogation smells bad, as do its permissions to deceive Unbelievers, and its permissions to kill Jews and other Unbelievers also have a bad smell. They’ll be quoting the Qu’ran in chronological order in their campaign ads and note that all the “peaceful” suras are canceled by the later violent suras-just as wine was ok and then booze got banned in updated orders from Allah to Moe.
We’ll someday hear a big panel on NPR discussing abrogation etc. and the need to “reform” Islam…

I once tried to debate a stalwart of the comboxes at the SPLC, but my jaw dropped when he claimed that it was ‘racism’ to criticise Islam because…in his words…Islam is a “brown religion”.
When I replied by informing him that close to 75% of Christians were non-white, he just skadaddled.
The SPLC’s comboxes are just chock full of such soft racists.

The SPLC is not only a water carrier for Islamic supremacists, but also for homosexual supremacists who seek to impose their amoral, anti-family, anti-G’d, anti-morality, pro-sodomy Greenwich Village/San Francisco values on the rest of society (and have such values totally supersede the Judeo/Christian values on which America was founded) despite their being less than 1 percent of the U.S. population; this, from their recent report penned by Potok (a contributor to the Huffington Puffington – er, Post, B.T.W.) seeking to classify pro-family groups such as the National Organization for Marriage as guilty of “hate speech.” (Which, with the burgeoning Obama dictatorship, will undoubtedly result in a politically-motivated witch-hunt and persecution against such groups.) So the SPLC is anti-American and anti-freedom in more than one sense. But I was going to have figured Soros had something to do with the funding of these fifth-column parasites.
And “homophobia” as a word is just as much fabricated and nonexistent as “Islamophobia” – and both words are used to silence anybody fighting against such insidious agendas (which are also conflicting and even so far as downright schizophrenic, given Muslim countries’ prohibition against homosexuality by penalty of death).

Look at all of the contributors funding this parasitic organization called the Southern Poverty Law Center. Most of these foundations are run by Jews themselves. The Jews hating the Jews. What a joke. All we have to do is to do nothing and let the Jews finish each other off. One by one. Ironically, this is also happening in Israel proper. The left wing Jews want to give away all of their land to the Arabs while the Right wing Jews refuse. One against the other. This must be the master plan for this doomed race. How can anyone in their right mind consider dealing with the Arabs a worthwhile event. The Arabs are a sneaky bunch of miscreants who should never be trusted with anything worthwhile much less a country or a land. There is not one Arab democracy in the world today, yet these Jews want to live side by side with these known haters of Jews. What a mess these Jews in Israel have created for themselves and the rest of the world.
